Princessoz- Im 167cm tall.. and i originally had 30kilo's to lose, so yeah we are around the same stats :)

Im a size 16-18 at the moment but even the 16's are a little big :)

Arowan-Thankyou for your post, it gives me a lot of hope for when i go out into the big bad world. Its nice to know we can just go back for a few days and re-balance. Thx for your honesty

Reb- My larger clothes are up for grabs. I'm thinking of getting some clothing racks and putting them at my consultants office . That way people can borrow them for the time they need them bring them back when they are done so others can use them. Like a co-op xchange! My consultant is Sue at East Brisbane

8-2 Much- Dont you dare give in. Your family needs you to be good, just dont let yourself be weak. You are better ghan that. In terms of party advice. Take photos of others, always prepare your meals ahead of time and most important always have a drink in your hand. Water,tea or soft drink. Make yourself a priority. You deserve it
 
LessofMe-Good advice on the scales, lets face it . Its how you FEEL and how you present yourself, not the kg which count.

8-2much just take it a day at a time. Put your self first and cook some of the yummy recipes on the website. Try not to do too much cooking for the family that is not Cohens friendly. Just think in only a couple of months it will be all over and you can enjoy the same food as your family.

I lover crumbing my fish and chicken as it makes me feel like I am having something that I should be having.

For your allowance crumb 1 crispbread add chilli, salt, peper and curry. Wet fish or chicken with water then roll in crumbs, spray pan with olive oil spray and seal meat then put in oven until fully cooked through. Serve wiht salad mixed with mayo and balsamic viniger.

I am not thinking that this way of eating is for ever it is just a means to an end. Go back and read old posts to keep you motivated.

I have survived another night! I ran out and did a Yoga class - thank God! I think my husband was ready to kill me I was in such a foul mood.
Words will not convey how very grateful I am to you all for helping me out. What a great feeling. And I know that it is genuine cause you're doing it tough too.

BAM - It is so true that it is such a short period out of my life in exchange for a skinny me FOREVER! Thank you for your caring words.

KAROL - Thanks for the recipie. I will definitely try it out. I don't think I can avoid the cooking but I need to get my head around the fact that it is only for a little while.

PRINCESSOZ - Yes, I will dream of being thin again! It is worth it. Thanks, it's good to know someone else has a family that just doesn't get it sometimes!

Yes 8-2much, we can be taken for granted. If we can get through the next few months with a Husband and small children we can achieve anything. But, then again we are women so we already knew that!!!!

I received my REAL cohen diet plan today!!!!!

I am so happy. it has fish on my meal option 1 (which my interim doesn't) and MANY combinations for meal option 2. The consultant told me it is the first time he had ever seen so many combinations for a meal option. Dr Cohen must be very pleased with my blood test!

The portion size is only slightly lesser than my interim plan, maybe 10g or 20g lesser, and I am going to start it next Monday!

In addition, a guy asked me out for a date today!! I was so shocked 'coz I thought he was not interested in me at all. I have to turn him down due to some reasons.

Bam

I am 35 and joined wight watchers last year so that I wouldn't be fat for my 35th Birthday. I lasted four weeks and lost 4.5 kilos and ended up fatter for my 35th Birthday!! In January I will be 36 and plan on being able to look at photos that are taken of me at my party, with me at my goal weight and in a sexy new outfit!!!!

Headache!!!

I do not know why but than I had a terrible headache this evening when I am on my way home.. really a spliting headache... I drank lots of water... hopefully that helps.. and of course I will sleep early tonight...
I promise myself that there will not be a single piece of extra crisp tomoro... and hopefully I will be able to take less crisp than the allowed quantity... ;)
Can someone give me some encouragement???
 
I started the Cohen diet about 3 weeks ago, the first 3 days where "hell", I have never had an addiction or needed to go cold turkey, but I think that going of starches was really tough, I couldnt work on the 2nd day, I just couldnt think clearly.

I have lost now 9.5KG...so going well. I am doing the internet program, is anyone else doing the internet program? I found the responses from the consultants a little terse.

The question I had is what do you do when you just are not at home and need to attend a resturant with the family? Do you just do your best to follow the "spirt" of the program ? It just is impossible to get exactly the right quantities or types of foods. I went to an indian resturant and had a salad and some fish tandori, it was the best I could do, but the salad had a oil dressing on it etc. I guess the fish was a little bit less than my allowance. Anybody have any tips?
 
gal.. if tomolo u really crave for a munchie.. it's best u munch on the crisps.. dun force urself to stop it all together, might end up making u feel worse.. juz make sure u dun go over the allowed quantity... make urself happy~ :D

i been going out for meals wif frenz quite often... usually i end up in the restaurant asking them for some grilled chicken or fish with no sauces, juz plain grilled with salt etc.. and top it up wif a salad .. that usually settles 1 meal.. and usually u can do some special requests for restaurant.. like less oil? and balsamic vinegar for the salad dressing.. if not, simply get a bit of coleslaw.. and indulge in it juz for 1 meal.. so far it haben jeopardize my weight loss.. at least i'm still losing weight.. :D

Jayce, i know that... just that i want to make sure i dun crave for it.. so as long as i dun have the biscuits in my office, than I will not be able to eat that... so i have to be harsh to myself in order to stop myself from eating too much of biscuits... I know i have to be happy... I will be happy if i can lose more weight.. :D
 
I know this is trivial.... but.. has anyone noticed that their Watch's are getting too big.. haha im losing weight off my wrists :)

Only on day 3 but I can't wait for my watch to get big again. 2 weeks before I decided to get back to Cohen's I had an extra link put it. and I also want my engagement to start to get too big.

i don't wear watch...but I do notice my shoes are not as tight as usual and I don't hurt that much when walking in heels for long time.
