ok think it working

Ok girls and boy strap yourselves in because it's going to be a long reply:p

Lizzi- Don't you feel great shopping and having so much variety. I still find it overwhelming because now i have to choose from everything rather than just what fits. I'm having a ball getting a new me style. sizes do vary but its not the size its how you wear it! Check if you are not certain but wombok was ok with my consultant!

8-2 Much- Well done no not deviating even with all that yummy food around. At first when i started i would "proxy" eat . If i felt like something i would prepare it and then feed my husband of friends with it. Now though i can't stand having ANY no Cohens food around. We don't have it in the house and when i'm around it i distance myself "mind games" and think about Thailand. Its not an easy thing to do maybe you'd find it easier if hubby didn't eat either?

Bam- I'm worried that you're not well. Give your consultant a call maybe go see her? Also just check that your vitamins are good quality and maybe take one at breakfast and one at Lunch. NEVER on an empty stomach. NEVER EVER EVER!!!!!!! Try re-reading your progam , be honest with youself and check that you ARE doing all the right things!

Sassysapphire86- I enjoy explaining my program to others ever strangers as firstly it makes me proud that i am doing something positive for my health and secondly by saying it out loud it reaffirms in my mind that i AM doing it, Successfully. Keep up the great work.

Ver- Welcome you've come to an AMAZING place everyone here will look after you all the way! I eat all my crackers, gum softdrink, water ,coffee and fruit. Some days like today where i was super busy and super enthusiastic i've left 2 crackers. My allowance is 5 crackers, whats yours?

TTT-great guns girl! You'll be finished in no time. 100% now means happiness sooner isn't it worth it!

ByeBye Blubber- Hey sweetie, thanks for the chat this evening. Missing you heaps. Can't wait to see those kilos continually drop off as they have. Have i said thankyou for introducing me to this program. Its brought us closer(not just because we are skinnier) but also it a hurddle we overcame together . Thanyou for understanding me and sorry for not being positive in the initial stages. I take back everything i said . YOU"RE RIGHT I WAS WRONG;) . I cant wait to see the sexy new YOU!

Well never fear i'm hanging around. Believe it or not, i'm actually a lifetime memeber of Cohens. How do you become one? you ask!
I have made a commitment to myself and to you all right now that this is a lifetime chenge for me and you all. I will continue to post regularly i'll write all about my refeed day by day. People ask what life after cohens is........well there is no life after cohens. Because cohens IS life.

DOES THAT MAKE SENCE

I'm stupidly happy and positive today. i hope you are all getting my vibe.

I'm so greatful for you all Thankyou

To anyone in BRISBANE and surrounding areas - Lets do coffee i'd love to getthe ball rolling. We are blessed with such beautiful days no point hiding come out come out wherever you are!:p

one month on

Hi everyone Re: life after cohen's diet...
Overall it has been fine. I did eat and drink all the things I had been desperate to have and in much bigger serves than the "moderate" portions Cohen's suggest in their maintainence program notes!!!.
The result has been that I've put on about 1.5 kg. (finished refeed at 58.4 and am now 59.9)
Which is great when you consider some pretty full on binges with icecream and corn chips in addition to just "normal"/ non weighing eating.
One thing that's worked for me is when I crested 61kg I just did one day of the diet and my weight went back down again by 1-1.5 kg. The trick seems to be to act fast when you decide to munch out. So fear not about "life after" - it's all quite easy to keep off.
And ...being a size 10 is still a very great thing!!!

Bam

Perhaps you could try taking a nap? Usually I take a nap if I feel sick and feel much better after waking up.

Netski - My allowance is 5 too. I tend to get the munchies after meals and want to eat something crunchy. I find them tasteless but I don't have much of a choice!

I've been having a really bad day in terms of cravings! :p

By the way what multi vitamin are you guys taking? I can't seem to find a suitable one as they have either soy or rice or wheat in them. Any recommendations, especially any from GNC? My consultant sells them but they're so expensive!

Good morning everyone,
thank you to the person who suggested i ring my clinic 1st well did that but shes away at a conference till Wednesday she will get back to me on thursday so i will stay on program till i talk to her
netskii live at tweed heads and do my program all through email and the phone. Is your clinic albanycreek with Suzanne ?
p.s what did you do with all your fat cloths if you want to get rid of them i will gladly take them.:D

Arowan - Thanks for your feedback. As you would remember re-feed seems quite scary so it is great to hear that you survived and continue to look fantastic.

BAM - Hope you are feeling Ok today. Take it easy wont you?

Netski - I live just outside the city so let me know where and when!

Have a good day everyone.

8-2 Much

Thankyou :)

Im feeling much better today, although i am NEVER going to miss out on my fruit, that was so silly of me.. I will keep on keeping on :)

Hope you are doing well also, you have to get a ticker up so we can see your progress!!! Everyone is doing so well, its so good to see!

haiz.. my weight loss 2 weeks had been very slow... this week 1.7kg.. and it's only the 5th week.. i can't imagine how slow it will be as it continues on..

BAM - I tried to get a ticker but I can't figure it out!!! I am very limited in my computer usage! I went to the site and made one but I don't know how to transfer it across. And then, how do you adjust it? Do you have to create a new one everytime?
I can be quite thick!
Glad to hear you are feeling better today.

dear 8-2much, juz copy and paste the bbcode after u get ur ticker from the webby into ur signature box~ that will be done~ and yes u have to redo a new one everytime u wanna update~ :D

Get off the scales!!!

To all of you out there who obsesively jump on the scales every time you walk past them - I have a little bit of advice for you - feel free to ignore it if you want!
REMOVE THE BATTERIES & PUT YOUR SCALES AWAY IN A CUPBOARD!
There is a very good reason our consultants advise us not to weigh ourselves more than one time each month! We lose weight in cycles...it does not occur at a steady rate. You WILL get disheartened  and dissapointed :( if you keep on checking your loss every day...stop putting yourselves through this unecessary stress! And how many of you get sooooo depressed after jumping on the scales that you weaken your resolve and deviate  ? If you are sticking to the program, then your program IS WORKING and WILL CONTINUE TO WORK! You know it is! Just believe in yourselves! And just think how fantastic you will feel when after a month you get weighed and find out how much more you have lost! It is such a great surprise! :D And your ticker moves in leaps and bounds rather than baby steps...Trust me - it is better to weigh only once a month!
I have just finished my 5th month and have only just purchased a set of digital scales...until then I had a really old set of the older style scales that I had not even stepped on once since starting the program. I decided I needed the new scales so that I can accurately monitor my weight during my refeed...but until then, I will stay off them - that is a promise! I will be honest and tell you that I did stand on then once when I got them  - more to check that they worked than to see how much I weighed.
Anyway, that's my advice - take it or leave it...I just don't see the point of putting yourselves through all that agony and worry when it is not necessary!

Netski Was it you who wants to have a get together in Brissie? I live at Bribie Island, but I go to Brisbane ocassionally. Let me know if you organise a meet-up and I will see if I can come. By the way, thanks for all those good vibes you were putting out - I'm almost positive I could see them coming out of my screen!!! :D

Be happy everyone! :) :) :)
Jody

Jody :)

I am going to do just what you said in regards to the scales, they are evil and make me depressed. So i will pack them away until the re-feed and just rely on my monthly weigh-in's to let me know how im going.. its going to kill me, but its a much better option to keep me focused :)

Hi every one.. well been on cohens since 12th of july..so six weeks tomorrow- lost 17.5 kilos. and this weekend had my first deviation-- and can i just say- if you havent devaited.. don't!!!! cause it is so hard to stop once you have! Oh my gosh- i just found myself makin excuses for myself... i felt awful in less then an hour.. my mood changed instantly... not because i had disappointed myself.. but i physically felt yuk! It is so not worth it!! yesterday i got up.. totally prepared to start over.. i cooked my breakfast.. got it down and threw it up... this is the first time i have not been able to stomach it--so for those thinking there is no harm in cheating.. there so is!!! stay strong eh! dont lost sight of your goals!!
