Just wanted to quickly post that for breakfast every day since I started this diet I have had mango smoothies, and I LOOOOOOVVVVVEEEE them. One morning I had an omlette, I felt hungry and hour later, but with the smooties I never do!!!
This is how I make them:
150g mango
175g natural yoghurt
half cup diet lemonade
a dash of granulated sweetner (am now using nutrasweet after the whole hermesetes incident!!)
I just whizz it up (I'm lucky enough to have a Breville milkshake maker, but you could use a normal blender). The
BEST thing about these is that I make them the night before - not only do they get thicker in the fridge over night, but it means that as soon as I get out of bed I can eat my breaky (even when I'm half asleep, or running late)!!! Perfect for days when I get the chance to sleep in - get up at 7:30 - grab it out of the fridge, then go back to bed - means I don't have to end up eating at 10 o'clock at night if I want to sleep in!!! I find that it's really quite filling as well, seems to fill me up more than my other meals do during the day!!!
Please, please give this a go, I am addicted to them, and the best thing about using mango is that you get more for your allowance, 150g = 1 fruit, which is both cheeks of a middle sized mango!
