Great job on resisting the cookies - keep up the great work! As for your other eating, it looks like you got too few calories and like you said, you went over your % of fat intake.

Do you do upper body strength training too?
 
Today

I do way more upper body than lower body. I figured I would start with lower body so that i actually did it. I also realize that the calories/fat may not seem that good but based on the diet I am on, its right....sadie? got anything?

ANyhow, this morning i got up again and went to the gym. I did 30 minutes on the eliptical and then did 6 continuous minutes of abs. I usually have pretty stron abs, and i can tell that I have lost some of the strength. Back to building it up.

Food:
730 - .5 cup yogurt (the greek kind with no fat and lots of protien and barely any sugar...love it) and some blueberries.

Well..I will write later.
 
Lifting Later...

Here is what i am thinking as a weekly routine. Since I will be lifting M-F in the evenings, I have this idea:

M-legs
Tu- chest/biceps
W-shoulders/back/triceps
Th-legs
Fr-all upper body (probably a little less intense)

All mornings consist of Cardio and abs/core/some back too.

Today:

Flat Bench - 18/15/13 reps, bar/5/7.5 lbs
Flat Fly with free weights - 18/15/13r, 10/12.5/15lbs
bicep curl with bar - 18/15/13r, 20/20/30lbs
bicep curl with rope - 18/15/13r, 30/30/40lbs
Reverse bbicep curl with squigly bar =) - 18/15/13r, not sure of weights
pushup pyramid/ab pyramid:
pushups - 5/10/15/20/20/15/10/5 crunches - 10/20/30/40/40/30/20/10

*Those numbers are so low because I did a lot of abs this morning, and I have a feeling its gonna be tough later.

Anyone have any good suggestions for bicep lifting?

(I went back and forth through those two above)
Hammer Curl - 18/15/13r, 20/20/27.5
Barbell Curl - 18/15/13, 20/20/20
Reverse Curls - 18/15/13, 20/27.5/30

Pushup/Abs Pyramid (I ran out of time!)
10p/10c/159/20c/10p/10c/5p/10c

Thats it! Oh, what are Preacher Curls and concentration curls?

I got up this morning to do cardio. Eliptical for 30 mins and 5 mins of core...I was so sore this morning!
 
Preacher curls make use of a bench that supports your upper arm at an angle so all that can move is your forearm, isolating the biceps: http://www.exrx.net/WeightExercises/Brachialis/BBPreacherCurl.html .
You can also use dumbells, and use an incline bench to support your arm.

Concentration curls are done sitting or squatting. You lean forward and brace your elbow on your knee or inside of your thigh. The trick is to keep the upper arm vertical and completely motionless, ie. you have to CONCENTRATE on keeping your upper arm still: http://www.exrx.net/WeightExercises/Brachialis/DBConcentrationCurl.html
 
The last workout routine I had had concentration curls in it. The one I'm now has a regular standing biceps curl, preacher curls and hammer curls (interesting variation of these called the 21s). Concentration and preacher curls are excellent at isolating the biceps, and give you much less leeway to cheat, particularly the preacher curls.
 
So, I am still doing pretty well. Not 100% perfect with everything, but much better and i am proud of myself. today was the first morning that I didn't get up this week to go to cardio. I was really upset too...I just slept right through my alarm clock as if it wasn't going off. i must have been tired. ANyhow, tonight I will do cardio and weights to make it "right". I want to life legs tonight but I also want to run on the tredmill. Can I do both? Which first?

really?? thats funny...I guess it might as well be. Oh man, last night I was craving chocolate sooooo bad!! but, I didn't have any. I just had some blueberries instead.
 
btw, my six pack is coming back strong! Cant wait for another week to go by so i can show you all my new pics! Too bad I still hate my legs...lol
 
Start small and it'll all work out at the end. I'd be happy w/the abs and screw the legs, unless you have good looking legs, then vica versa.

Good choice on the blueberries, but you could have had a small amount of chocolate. Hey I got it, next time have chocolate covered blueberries..lol
 
oh man, I wish...nope, just trying to stay away from chocolate right now...in fact, all sugar! I did have littl ebite of some gingerbread icream and one bite of gingerbread cake though =(. I was out to lunch with my mom and her friend yesterday and they ordered it. Then proceded to not eat a lot of it and just left it sitting in front of me. I let my guard down and just ate some. Damnit!
