hey hey keep it up, you'll be slim and trim in no time with that regimen and attitude!
i need to mention that i love/hate the monday combat class because it has the best fitness instructor who always has the most recent music and she plays it super loud so you just want to kick a$$ during the class, problem is she's so popular so her classes are ridiculously full.....we must have been about 50 people today all i kept thinking was 'please don't let someone kick or jab me'. this instructor is super fit like the energizer bunny and you never know what she'll do next so there's constantly kicks and jabs flying in the wrong direction!
LOL I can just picture that!!! hehehehehe
I would hate it, but good on you for getting in amongst it Cherry!!!
You are doing so well, makes me feel so lazy![]()
I love breaking those little barriers. Getting to 249 is significant to me because it's where one of my friends started out at and she is now down to 176. I remember ages ago when she told me her starting weight and all I could say back then was "I wish I weighed 249", and now I almost do!
I'm so excited for you, Cherry. You really do bust your ass. You deserve all of this success and much, much more.
just curious, i thought you were going to try and space out your weigh ins? of course you don't have too, but try it out. nothing is better than going a week without loook and seeing the number be down 5-10 pounds. golden i tell you. In other new, 320 is around the corner, at the rate you are going you'll be there by week's end. keep it up ! i'm trying to get in the 260s by june, which is doable i got like 3 weeks and 7 lbs, so i think i will watch what i eat just to hit this goal before i fly out for a wedding in hew hamshire. these people ahven't seen me since last august, and i want to be able to say i lost 60+ when i get there. so good luck to us both!
thanks for checking in camy! i know what you mean, i think there's two sets of people, those who like to weigh often and those who can go a few days without...i definitely like weighing in often but i think if i hit a plateau i'll definitely start spacing it out.I tried spacing it out and while some weeks were magnificent, a lot of them I would feel very depressed and in a terrible mood if the weight loss was nto what I hoped it to be. I felt like the whole week was worth nothing. Then found out that sundays, my weighiung in days, I tended to weigh a pound more than tuesdays (go figure), so I started to weigh a few times a week. I also feel more in control if I weigh in very often, then I know I am not going to be 20 pounds heavier next weigh in!
But sometimes I get a bit OCD and weigh in 3 or 4 times a day...
Anyhow have a great week, Camy
Woohoo dreamingblue! here's to us breaking barriers! WE CAN AND WILL DO THIS!Hey Cherry,
Congrats on almost being at your barrier. I'm sure that's an incredible feeling and accomplishment. I have a barrier as well, which is why I put my ticker at 269. 270 is the lightest I can remember weighing in YEARS. I can't even remember the last time I was less than 270. Must've been when I was around 19 or 20. Sigh. So once I get to 269, it'd be groundbreaking for me.
Anyway, congratulations, you're doing soooo well. I'm happy for you.
thanks for the very kind words kori!Wow congrats on almost crashing through that Barrier!!! You are amazing! May those last 4 (and many more) just Flyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy off for you!!!!

Wow girl, you are really consistent with your exercise. You must be feeling so good!
no other word for it but for now i have to stick to it untill i can get to a weight where i can comfortably fit into the other cardio machinesFor me, it's crucial that I try and mix up my workout otherwise I get bored. I may do the same machines, but I'll try a different resistance level. Good on you with the treadmill at the highest incline. I know damn well I wouldn't be able to do that, I'm too scared of falling lol, but I'm a very clumsy person.![]()
thanks mike!4 lbs is nothing. Knock em out!
yep, will definitely look into the gloves thing for sure.lol You're right, it does get boring, but it wont be long now before you can leave that treadmill behind and try out the other cardio machines, but I still can't help but be impressed by that incline! I'm sure gloves would help and probably give you a better grip, especially if your palms get sweaty.
