Chelseabun's Weightloss Diary!

BIG SIGH................ ROFL!

I'm here. I just went grocery shopping this morning, and let me tell you how much it SUCKS that buying healthy stuff is so much more expensive!!! I did GOOD, though, with my choices, kept to my shopping list that I got for everything I need in the next 2 weeks. As long as I don't run to the store for those little extras that always get me in trouble, I'm good.

I lost weight in this last week, which is GREAT! I'm so happy. :) It was only 1 pound, but better than nothing, right? And with all this healthy eating I'm going to be doing this week, my goal is to lose another 2 by next monday. :D

So I'm having an awesome day, minus the no exercise part.... it's so hard to get out for a walk in this house!! But eating-wise, I've done VERY well, and I've even guzzled down 96 oz of water. LOL!!!

Why yes, yes I do. 10 minutes on it and I feel like I'm dying. But I still do it. LOL! I'd much rather walk outside for an hour, though. :D

Hey hon, slow n steady is good!! They reckon 1 pound a week is much easier to keep off than vast amounts. Don't fret too much bout the exercise thing. If your still eating well (which you are!) you're gonna be losing anyway!! Just fil the exercise in whenever you can :)

Howdy! I know how you feel about the treadmill. I would soo much rather freeze my butt off outside than walk nowhere and be warm. Something kind of rewarding about actually seeing the distance you've walked.

Anyway - keep up the great work!! :D:D

Heeeeeeeeeeey girl!! I believe this is my first time in here! Way to go, you're looking good. I tell ya, I used to LOOVE the treadmill, but since I started walking around the lake that darn thing is like toture now. So if I HAVE to do the treadmill I turn it toward the window so I can look out, I've also been known to open the door and slide it out a little bit...but shhh don't tell the people at my complex. I only got caught once, but it was by another person that lives in my complex. I had to move it so she could get in, but no one ever said anything to me about it. :p :p

*OHD shakes her pompoms for Chelsea* :)

Thanks you guys!! And I apologize if Dari stuck her pompoms up your butts to get you over here for me. LOL! I do appreciate it, though. I don't always have time to get to people's diaries. I do a lot of reading on them, but don't always post.

Eating wise and water wise, I'm kicking ass. At least I think so. LOL! I'm so proud of my choices in the last few days. I don't know if I'll see a loss this week, I've only REALLY been doing the whole WW points for 4 days now, but 120 ounces of water each day as well. But even 1 more pound would be nice to see. :D

No apologies necessary sweetie, I like it over here! And for healthy food being more expensive...YOU'VE GOT THAT RIGHT!! And it's ridiculous. I just left the grocery store not too long ago and it's ABSURD! It's just two of us and I spent $140!!! Trying to get fruits and vegetables, whole grain/wheat this, low fat/sodium that! *sigh* I'm proud of my choices and the example I'm setting but DANG, my pocket hurts! :(

I know!!! I have 3 kids, so I buy stuff for them to eat, because I can't see them eating ALL of the things that I am buying for me. So I buy everything healthy for me, whole wheat, tons of veggies, fruits, low fat this and that... and then I buy the alphagetti, the kraft dinner, the yogurt tubes, etc., for them. Plus, I have to buy whole milk for the baby, 1% for my son, skim milk for me, and soy milk for my oldest daughter. There's $15 on milk alone!! And I don't have a whole lot of money to put down on groceries... I went last week and wrote a check for $240!!!!!!    I'm a single mom, I can't be shelling out $500/month on groceries!!!

Holy Moly! I don't know how you manage! You sound like a good mommy though. Hang in there & have a great day!! :D:D

Heyas Chels,
I definatley hear ya with the grocery exspencives
I have 4 lil ones and 1 is on formula and the healthier foods are way
more costly and I find myself making 2 different meals because my kids
are picky and won't eat 1/2 the foods I eat.My advice get some recipies
from sis and make batches of things to freeze that will getcha by
week to week!Dari started a gr8 thread on recipies to freeze and it died!
Well your doing awesome congrats on losing every bit counts! Have
a gr8 Monday, Tammy:)

I would love to live by a wholesalers! We live in the north, in a TINY town, only one grocery store. So when you have to buy something, you don't really have a choice as to how much you spend. LOL!!!!!

Today is weigh-in day, but I might do it tomorrow... I have to borrow Dari's scale, but I am at the school helping with playroom all morning... and want to weigh in first thing in the morning if I can.

Oh honey I know! I am too and this won't last long. Fortunately for her, but unfortunately for my wallet, she loves her own healthy snacks so she gets her food and I get mine. Geesh! lol

But guess what, I made DQ's Chicken salsa soup last night. It is sooo good. Eating some for lunch right now and will probably have it for dinner! :p

Chelsea's the one that found that recipe for me...I just had to share it! Any others around that we should try Chels?
