you can use your baby as weights. just do several reps of each motion until you feel the burn...lol. and the cool thing, the baby grows bigger as you get stronger...lol. You should my bicepts since my son hit 38 lbs...lol!
 
I am HAPPY!!!!!! I lost 2.4 pounds this past week!!!!!!!! It was my first REAL week of WW, and I started the situps halfway through the week. My treadmill is now upstairs, so I'll be doing that every morning starting TODAY too! Hopefully I can keep up the motivation!!!!!
 
Thanks everyone! Yes, it does motivate you! I haven't been doing much exercise this week, though, I'm fighting a bug and it's enough just to get my 200 crunches in, but at least I'm still managing those. BUT, 2 days went by without one single sip of water. :eek: Back on the water wagon today, though, I've had my first 24 ounces already... and am going to try the treadmill in a few minutes.

OMG HOW do you guys DO IT???!!! Lose weight, I mean. Keep motivated, I mean. I am having such a hard time! The first week I was on fire, I felt great and didn't think that anything could stop me. But this past week I feel like a blob that can't stop shovelling the wrong things down her throat. :mad: I am discouraged, and it's so sad to be discouraged this close to the starting line. I haven't been feeling well, so that has a bit to do with it, but I also just feel BLAH.

HELP ME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
 
Aww.. don't let things get you down.
I honestly have no clue where my motivation comes from. My body is so used to walking every weekday now, I feel a little off if I don't go out and do something.

Try setting some small goals for yourself. Nothing too big, something that you can finish in a week or so.

Clean out your cupboards :D Seriously...that helped me a lot. And we need to find you a babysitter.

I did clean out my cupboards! LOL! It's mostly portions I'm having troubles with, I guess. Like the rice cakes. Sure, they are better to munch on than chips, but not when you eat darn near the whole package in one day. LOL!

And a sitter... yeah... if I can find one for free, that would be great. But I don't know of any that would do it for free other than Amma. :(

I'm SUPER competitive, so I keep myself motivated by trying to beat myself at something. All of it is a competition for me and I strongly dislike loosing. :p So I go to Sparkpeople and they tell me what my cal goal is for the day so I compete against that. I see how much I beat that, either by seeing how much I can eat and stay within that range or come in under that range. Which is why I love cats so much....I eat and eat and eat 'em and have no worries. I have fallen in love with celery, now I don't even much peanut butter on em at all to eat it, especially when it's super crunchy.

I find a way to compete with myself with as much as I can to keep pushing myself. Also, the BIGGEST thing was this pair of pants that I wanted to get into without bursting the seams in the thighs. I hung them up on the wall in my bedroom next to my closet and I looked at them everyday...and often tried them on. That was VERY motivating.

Some days nothing I do works, but I try. Keep your head up girlie and just try to keep your goal in your mind. You're gonna make it, tomorrow is always another day, another chance to get it right. *hugs*
