I was a size uk 18 last time.But im fitting into dresses size 16 and top size 14.But the 14 arent very comfy yet.I havent gone shopping for anything new , and i wont if i dont get to my ideal weight.Only if i need something for a special occasion , if it comes up
I put on my jeans that i cant wear anymore cause they are torn(YES between the legs.... :eek:) they are size 16 but elastic , and they did fit before but where soooo tight now they are ok!!!
 
You'll probably need some new clothes on the way down. Size 18's are going to look enormous on you before too long, and they won't stay up. I agree with minimising it- you don't want to spend too much money on things you won't be wearing for very long- but you'll need some things to get you through.

Well nearly all my clothes are a size 14-16.Just a few are 18 cause of all the weight i put on in a few years.
So i have summer trousers and lots of blousses that will fit.I took some more pics today they are fitting but are tight so i think i'll be ok!!!After size 14 i have nothing so then i'll be super happy to shop!!!

I still have another 23 kilos though.....long long way.......................
 
Getting into things when you couldn't is a sign of progress and is definitely good for the self esteem. And shows it's not too far to go before you'll be wearing them :)
 
We just came home from my sisters place.Shes dating a new guy and he seems to be really nice~hope everything turns out good!
So she is skinny!she is 45 years old too.She doesnt have cellulite just a bit of a tummy from beers!I was looking at her clothes scatered all over her room and saw a skirt i really liked and is so me!I told her what i lovely skirt and she said she doesnt really like it but it IS totally my style!!!(should i be offended or not>>????!!!|) well she gave it to me.It is size 1 (i think that is size SMALL) i said i will never get into there but she said to take it keep it and try to get in it one day!So i took it!I tried to see how bad it DOESNT fit.Well it has a zip on the side, with the zip open i can get skirt up to my knees!!!oh my GOd!!!!!I dont think i'll fit even at 65 kilos....We'll see!she also gave me a dress a plain one it does fit (XL size) but it looks more like as long top!!!So i would be great in that another 5kg gone!Also a top that i liked that is short , cause im stretching it outwards!!!!!
So thats , that.Had a steak for late lunch carrots and a small piece of chicken

It's good to have that motivation piece of clothing lying around. You never know- I never thought I'd get into a size 8, either.
 
:iagree: , its brill to be talking about smaller clothes! After so long of "just buying one dress size up as a temporary measure" (for about my last 3 dress sizes lol), its great to be going down and seeing other people going down too. Yeeehaaaaaa!
 
well we're short on cash so i havent gone shopping yet.Im out of veggies and fruit.So i had to cook yesterday made what i had in the fridge pasta with meat sause.I ate and didnt have anything else all day.I know i shouldnt do that but im not risking having a 2000 calorie intake for the day.So Today is the same still short on cash.O its 2 days to getting payed....
Im a bit anxious about the money situation,....its really difficult and we're opening a new buisness that is taking sooooo long , my boy had these exams done and we payed cash as the stupid insurance didnt cover them.When i;m so anxious i usually eat.Well then thats a good thing i dont have lots of stuff right now!
I have some green beans probably will make that.I'm starting to hate them,i eat them so often!Well i've got to go to my "godchild"(is that what you call the child you baptise?)today,its his name day.Not going to touch the mini cheese pies and little pizzas his crazy mom is preparing!So i better go and start cooking my beans before heading over there
 
Stay strong- hope the day goes well, you enjoy yourself (don't exclude yourself completely on the food front, just have one or two), and things aren't too tough.

Sounds like you're preparing well, which is the important thing.

I was thinking of taking that skirt my sister gave me (the one that goes just up to my knees!)so i can give it to mybest friend, she gonna be there too.I just want to see if that fits her i think i will be to big.She is super skinny.If it does fit her im gonna give it to her,i wouldnt want ot get that skinny.Imagine that size 8 uk is big on her,we went shoppoing once at marks and spencers and she couldnt find anything to fit cause the smallest was size 8.
So i dont want to keep that skirt and keep looking at it if i have to get into a size 2 to get in.I prefer to buy something souper at a size 8-10 and dream on that!

Ps im potty training my baby these days.well he's not a baby hes is 2!And just i while ago he was is his undies , holding a glass of juice i made him.He tried to open the drawer to get a spoon out , and spilled some juice on the floor.I made a sound like "oooooooowwww" and then i saw he pees on him....i a bit sceptical....did he pee cause i made that sound and got scared im gonna shout at him>?or was it just the time he wanted to pee...all day he's been doing it in his potty...i cant imagine him scared of me...i feel really bad.....
 
the food nearly done and my boys trying to get to sleep.hope he does do i wont have the moaning all evening!

I want to wear a dress that it does fit but is not baggy at all.I dont know if i''ll be able to get away with it.
I ll pout it on when im readdy to go and see if i feel comfty.Its up to the knee and just really plain.nothing snazzy,im going to the childs home.Its just kind of straight fitted the dress that probably will show all my curves!!!HAHAHA!!!im speaking in a nice way!

so i gave my friend the skirt it fits....holly cow!!!it was that small????well feeling a bit disapointed.I really liked it...anyway.
Came home an hour ago.Not very cheerfull,we took some photos and i feel slimer than what i actually am.I looked at the pics but think i look really bad...fat arms and cheeks...oh...i dont know how i had the courage to wear that dress today.....i hate those photos....how can i fell nice and then seepics and feel bad?i mean i must be nuts...

I hated pictures for a long time. Apparently they put weight on you. Worry about how you feel, keep the diet right, and the rest will follow.
 
don't really understand about UK sizes...guess I'll have to google it...but you look wonderful!! :)

a tip from a mom of two boys...we put cheerios (cereal) in the potty for them to have something to aim at..made a game out of it....ummmmmmmm...maybe I should do that now...since I think as teenagers they have a worse aim ;)

I just want to write one thing before i start anything today.

i must take things a bit more serious this week and hit 86 by next wednesday.
Its week after week , kilo after kilo...couldnt i be loosing them 2 by 2????
I m goona do some weight lifting for my arms...ive got little weight of 2 and 5 kg each.
I should start doing that every day,maybe ill see some difference.
 
Most medical recommendations say you should lose no more than a kilo a week if you weigh under 100 kilos, so don't push yourself too far. But if you do weight training you'll be helping develop a nice shape when you lose the fat from on top of the muscle.
 
yes i know....its just disapointing...it would be so great to loose more.It would be even better if chocolates,waffles and twix's were low cal and just MUST have for dieting,and if someone doesnt have them at least 5 times a week would be risking pouting on kilos!!!

So i think that because im only calorie counting things that are easy to calculate,and its not really doing anything , cause inm not counting my main meal,only coffes and things that have the cals on the label.So i decided at least i can take a pic of everything that i eat/drink.Maybe that way i can control a bit better,and also i can go back and actually SEE the food i've had.
I've aleady taken pics until now so i'll be posting at night before bed time
 
Ok so breakfast the coffe
lunch the meat balls on the grill,1 pita grilled no oil added,a few pieces of zucchini steamed,some rice with mixed veggies
and at a long walk on the beachfront tonight i just had to have it.softicream.I got the smallest cone i could,checked it up later and it was about 250 calories.

It sucks when you think you are looking great, then you look at pictures and don't like them! Cheer up tho, you are going down! Soon you'll be looking at pics thinking "Wow, I'm skinny".
 
oh so it happens to other people as well?Thinking you look nice and then BAM you get a look at your photo....
Well 87,5 today.....
It's pay day at last so i'll be going shopping later on or maybe tomorow morning.
