We're having lunch catered today by a client. He does the same thing for us every year as a holiday gift. Marinated steak, tortellini, and STRAWBERRY salad.

I'm on a strawberry kick today. I might have to stop at the market later and pick some up along with some dark chocolate. No sense in waiting until Valentine's Day for some things, though I am looking forward to that holiday this year. I got a 'lets pick out some stuff from VS for you this year' from him.

The chocolate cover strawberries & strawberry salad sound soooo good right now. I just had a coconut macaroon & some blackberries & blueberries with a slice of cheese pizza (whole wheat crust at least!) for lunch. All I needed was some strawberry slices.

Not sure on the nutritional content, but I used to get that magic shell chocolate stuff that you put on ice cream. I would line up the berries with the tops off on a plate then drizzle that stuff on em & pop 'em in the fridge or the freezer if you want them with a quickness! mmmm.

New Ticker New Start

So I'm starting fresh today. I started a new food diary on FitDay. I just needed a change. I've been slacking keeping track of my calories. I've been exercising but I don't think it's been enough. I'm determined to walk at least 30 minutes every day on my mothers treadmill after Jazzercise. Maybe a jog or a run soon. I need more cardio I think. I feel like I've been stuck losing the same 10 lbs over again. I need to keep up with getting at least 25g of fiber and uping my protein. I really want to lose 10 lbs before Valentines Day. It's going to take a lot of work but I need to kick start my body back up again.

I was eliminated from TBL Challenge but I'm going to keep up with it in the 2nd chance thread.

I'm hungry and someone is hogging the toaster oven. I have melba toasts and low fat string cheese again, peanut butter and celery for a snack.

Rar.
 
Hey, the holidays sucked for weight loss--you can lose 10 lbs! Pump up your cardio and fill up on good snacks like apple and raw almond butter, or banana smoothies, and have sashimi for dinner ;) And by all means start running! I revived the Runner's Club thread if you're interested ;)

So I went to jazzercise and went straight to the grocery store afterwards. I get home and want to munch on the huge red grapes I just bought. I hold them under the faucet ready to wash them off and guess what... NO WATER!.... The water main broke at 7:30 pm and the provider website says it won't be fixed for 5 hours. I want my grapes. I want a shower.

oh man.. that REALLY sucks.
Hopefully things are back to normal for you. Hang in there... full moon madness in full swing!
 
There's nothing worse than feeling grimy after a workout and knowing you won't get to shower soon. (Well, I'm sure there are worse things, but, you know...) Hopefully everything is fixed by now. Hope those grapes are delicious!
 
So the water came back on before the site said it was scheduled to. So I got my grapes and my shower before it got too late. But not before I had eaten two slices of pizza and two chips ahoy cookies. Blah I came in at 1450 calories. I have my MRI and blood work done today so wish me luck!
 
1450 cals is fine I just had hoped to get them in via more fruits and veggies, not pizza and cookies.

Apparently the LabCorp can't do the type of blood test my doctor wants so I have to go to the outpatient services lab at the local hospitol. The MRI went well. Man those things are loud! The tech stuck my head in this cage thing and supported my head with pillows incase I dozed off. Was he kidding!? All that banging and buzzing... He did tuck me in with a blanket and propped my legs up with a cushion so I was comfortable. You're not supposed to move while it's scanning you but of course my face started to itch. It took about a half hour and after all that noise I had a slight headache.
I went home and played around with my camera and photoshop for a while. Off to jazzercise at 5:30p and right after that I went to my parents house to get on my mother's treadmill for 30min. I'm going to try to get in at least 30mins of the treadmill after jazz while the weather is cold. When it warms up and the sun stays out longer theres a track nearby. I need to dig out my ipod and find some new music...and some new jogging threads.
 
I just noticed my fly has been down all morning.

Good luck with the outpatient test. Sounds like they are running you through it all. They just want to see what makes a goddess tick. Don't give away all your secrets!

I got an MRI because I've been having migraines the past few years. I've been on a few different meds so the doc just wanted an MRI to rule stuff out.

I've checked out the runners club thread. I'm not quite there yet but maybe by spring. :rolleyes: I'll have to post there to get in the runners loop though.
