Sorry that the scales are moving slowly, but they are moving Cate! I think your food sounds excellent - just keep going. Don’t weigh for 2 weeks and see what happens...

The ads on my phone are horrendous for the first time ever, so I may not be back today.
 
Sorry you are a bit down too Cate . I'm sure the working outside will help and the cals on your non fast day sounds good .

I'm surprised by how many people do can this on their phones. It seems too small for me -I'm always on a laptop. Maybe if I was forced to do it - we had a blackout last Friday and I was into the phone for a while, in a way I could see getting used to it.

Hi, Jack. My new phone is enormous & I don't much like it. It was cheap. I used to have an iPhone, which was tiny in comparison, but I loved it. If someone gave me an iPhone I would happily take it, but I don't want to spend that much money.

I had a good weekend really. It feels daunting having the kids for the whole weekend as I imagine they get bored being here. It felt quite laid back & comfortable, so was enjoyable. They played a lot of chess & made up games & laughed a lot. They eat well these days. E has always been a terrible eater, but now she eats all the salad & fruit I put in front of her. Before each meal, they start with a big platter of raw veg & fruit & she polishes it all off easily now. She forgot to bring clothes & I fished some out for her to wear- ones that I had worn when I got down to my lowest weight & she kept them & thanked me for them, which was nice. They looked good on her.
Today G & I plan on getting some wood, but it's raining lightly at the moment. My FD food will be-
BF-100g low-fat, low-cal yoghurt with a heaped teaspoon of almond meal. 103
Lunch- Big bowl of salad, with one hard-boiled egg 142
Dinner- Lots of veggies with a small amount(75g) of cold grilled salmon 203
Total of 448. This will leave room for a snack.
 
The 500 calorie meals sound really healthy, but a bit... small. Which I get is the point, haha. It probably does do your body good to not have to process so much. I guess it's just whether it affects your energy levels too much, that would be my worry with it.

Em, my energy levels were a bit low for the first couple of weeks, but I was also adjusting to an increase in one of my blood pressure meds, so wasn't sure which was doing it. I'm starting my 4th week now & my energy levels are good now.

Amy- today has been really good. The kids get on so well & they laugh & laugh & it's music to my ears.
Liza- It was really lovely.
LaMa- she is, which is really nice. She'll be turning 14 this year & as we all know it's a tricky age. She's doing well.
Petal- It was good. The top looked lovely on her. I told her she looked much better in it than I ever did.

G split wood for a couple of hours & I helped him for about an hour of that & had a walk. We have the loan of a mechanical splitter which is very handy. I have taken it easy really. It's 5.50 pm & I'm looking forward to dinner. I'm trying to wait as long as possible. I have done well today.
 
Oh Cate I love kids!! They bring so much joy, Sounds like you are having a lovely time, enjoy dinner- I know exactly what it’s like to be stretching out the time for the next meal all too well lol :)
 
Thanks, Sunflower. I just had dinner & won't be having anything else today. It's 6.45 pm, so will be fasting about 14 hours. I actually feel full after having some fresh pineapple & a few grapes after dinner. Food tastes so good on FDs!
I think I'll have a loss this week.

I always go to bed hungry after a FD, but always wake up not particularly hungry, which I like.
I think G & I will do some more wood splitting today, but not too much as it's golf day tomorrow. I'll also go for a walk. Feeling pretty good this morning, although I had a bad night's sleep & dreamt a lot.
