Thanks, Petal xo

About laughter - the laughter of people you love being the loveliest sound - well... just that: yes! :)

Sorry you had a rough night - hope today is going beautifully.

You're sounding really well Cate. Too bad about the bad night's sleep, but despite that you're sounding really positive which is nice.

Oh, Amy. That is so right!
Hope you're having a lovely day :grouphug:
Thank you, hon. I am. We had a surprise visit from our son, D & I went for a walk even though I so did not feel like it.

Thank you, Liza. You sound nice. I like that you have fitted into our friendly space so well.

I actually went on my own after D had left & while G washed his car. It would have been less of a challenge with company, that's for sure, LaMa xo

Thanks, LaMa & Petal.
It was a good day.
I had 3 proper meals yesterday & felt overfull last night.
BF-1 toast with ham & hot english mustard, 1 with 1/2 peanut butter, 1/2 apricot jam.
Lunch- chorizo veggie bowl(not much chorizo)
Dinner- prawn & veggie stir-fry with sweet potato noodles.

BF this morning- 2 eggs & 1/4 avocado on sourdough oat toast.
Lunch after golf will be a small chorizo & veggie bowl.
Dinner- veggies with ............

I am going out to lunch tomorrow with the golf ladies so can't fast. My FD will have to be delayed to Friday.

That's good how the fast days can be shifted to adjust to your life. Nice to have that flexibility for sure!

Hi Amy! When I ask my daughter what her favorite thing in life is, she always says "laughter!"

Hi Cate! It's lovely after being away so long to see you are back on IF and it's going so well!!! It sounds like you are on good bp meds now. Love reading that you had such a nice weekend with the grandkids, and I hope D is doing well. So glad to hear that your walks are helping - I really need to combat anxiety with exercise and am trying to find a nice enjoyable way to do this that I stick to. Thanks for writing me to remind me to visit the forum. I think about you guys a lot and it's so good to see you all here!

8.15am Aus.
Liza- It is great to have that flexibility with fast days. I want Mon & Thu to be my regular FDs, but changing them when necessary is ok. I'm so glad you feel comfortable with the site & with us :grouphug:
Thanks, Cory. I had a good day yesterday & will be heading for lunch in about 4 hours.
That's good, Jack. I'm glad we encourage you to eat healthier. I think that is the main focus of the forum really.
Hi, Amy. I didn't take a banana as they were too ripe. I really do not like ripe bananas. Golf was a mixed bag, but ok. The chatting in the clubhouse afterwards was lots of fun. We also have a new/old member who I like. She hasn't played for 10 years & has just retired.
Thanks, LaMa. I do feel quite content :grouphug:
Hi, Marsia. It's lovely having you back, but I will always stay in touch. Both of our sons are doing really well. The weekend was lovely. Some days I feel really flat & am inclined to get anxious over small things. I get out & go for a hike around our land & my worries disappear & my mood lifts. I love it.

My golf yesterday was very mixed. I played some really good shots when I imagined the pro standing behind me watching. I'll try to do that more often. I need to slow myself down when I play. I rush shots all the time.
I went out with G to 8-ball last night so wasn't home for long. His team won & ended up top of the ladder, so get next Wed night off, which will be good as he gets back from a couple of nights away playing golf & I will have had our ladies opening day at golf.

Hi Cate! I know what you mean about being in nature - I got out into the garden a little today and it was just instant contentment. I love how you found a good way to slow down playing golf. I have really been working on slowing down and thinking things through lately, and it is making me so patient and mellow and less clumsy even. It's so nice hearing you both are enjoying golf again!
