Just downloaded Pacer, which looks really good & am going to up my steps! Does anyone else use it? You can synch it to MFP as well. Worth a try!

Now you´re sounding like Cate again! Glad to hear it. Fresh air and exercise are good for so much more than just burning calories!

If you're feeling lighter and flatter that's a victory already! Like LaMa said, the fresh air will be good for the soul no matter what.

Thanks LaMa & Oaks.
Back to the start again!
Day 4 of no alcohol.
Counting steps.
Dropping my cals to 1400.

I went into the market & got some lovely veg & bypassed the gluten-free baked stall. I then drove to the supermarket, got a few things, locked my car & forced myself to go for a big walk (4km?) I was aching like crazy & really had to push myself, but I did it. Back home again, had a healthy lunch, about to drink a pot of herbal tea & read. I feel really tired today!
I think Pacer will be good. I just have to remember to carry my phone with me ALL the time!
Downloaded Windows 10 yesterday & now my touchpad doesn't work [emoji15] I'm not sure if I have a mouse still, that will fit my laptop, to work out how to fix it :( It's ok using my phone occasionally, but it's harder to see who has posted in their diaries. Can't be bothered trying to fix my laptop right now though. Might be napping soon xoC

Bloody Windows... Afraid I´m no help at all where computers are concerned. I personally think computers are the new incarnation of the old female stereotype: quite wonderful but fully incomprehensible. All I know how to do is try around until it starts working again. Great job on the walk though! I hope you won´t be too sore tomorrow.

I'm sorry the scale is disagreeing with you. That can be very frustrating! I don't generally get those feelings of feeling 'lighter' or 'heavier'. It must be annoying when you feel lighter and your scale deceives you! But you are focused and determined so I know you will whip that scale into shape!

Thanks LaMa & Mystic- U'n feeling more frustrated & annoyed than anything, but you're right, I won't give up!

Microsoft and scales both suck! You're doing great and a big drop is in your future if you stay the course. Go Cate! xoxo

I got the offer for the windows 10 and decided against it until I hear bug reports. Hope it works out soon. Good job on the long walk even if it did wear you out.

Thanks Q & KP. I hope so Q, otherwise my world has
gone crazy!! No loss, but also no gain! 6kgs to go [emoji15]
KP I wish I had taken that decision instead of the "why not?" one! Oh well. I'll have to borrow a mouse. I can usually fix things on the computer.
I ache today & I think it's from my sneakers- not enough support on asphalt paths!
Day 5 of no alcohol.
Day 5 of 1200-1500cals
Day %#*€ of no loss

I think powering through the frustrating times is what ultimately brings success. It is so easy at those times to say to hell with it and have some chocolate or another guilty pleasure. But you will get there, it just unfortunately takes time! View attachment 23033

What she said :iagree:
5 days aren´t in fact a long time, but they can sure feel like it! :grouphug: Great big hugs that squeeze us all into shape!

Hi LaMa & JadeLynne.
It's actually about day 50 of <1500cals!
I will get there! You'll hear me yelling if I don't!
Just poured G a red wine & I'm having a little carafe of mineral water with lemon & some diet lime cordial. It's nice actually xoC

Are you weighing your food or just measuring it? Maybe you are just eating a little more than you think. That can truly mess things up!

I agree (that´s all I seem to be doing this morning!) and if it doesn´t you probably should see the doctor. Take care girl.

Weight- still the bloody same .....grrrrr
Touch wood,I think I have fixed my laptop. When you are only self-taught, ie never learned how to use a computer, without a mouse or touch-pad, it's very hard to know what to do to access stuff, but I think I have managed it. I am very stubborn & determined!
Day 6 of no alcohol.
1200-1400cals per day.
I made a doctor's appointment for Tuesday of next week & will ask for help re weight & a horrible hammer toe, that is causing me grief. I bought new shoes & they hurt, so am taking them back tomorrow. Hopefully she'll give me a credit. I can be a challenge for the shoe shop owner. Finding shoes I can wear, that are comfortable & don't hurt is, indeed a challenge.
I sound like I'm whinging, so I'll go. I feel pretty good actually.
Love to all, Cate
