Played 9 holes of golf today & really enjoyed it again. My LH is being so supportive & coaching me. He's getting better at it as he's inclined to coach me too much. I am looking forward to getting a handicap (another 2 full cards to go) as then I can go out on my own as well & just play as much or as little as I like. I guess I could do that now but I want to hand in cards & get that handicap organised.
I'm quite happy at the moment and feel like life is back in balance. I have dropped my cals back to 1500 but will continue to put in my exercise as I feel that is the right balance for me. 1660 was too much! I feel really good about my body and am wearing closely fitting tops mostly & not feeling even slightly self-conscious! YAY!! It has taken about 5 years though & sure wasn't an overnight thing!
Whoever reads this know that we are mostly in the same boat. Getting healthy & slim is not easy but is so worth it. We must love ourselves & treat our bodies with the respect that they deserve. Lots of love, xoxo Cate
