Hey Girl! The only problem is hubby might not notice any difference! Lol! I need some of your good mood and motivation to rub off on me, that's for sure.

Hope everything goes well with sitting with the "bunny."
 
Hi HH :D Normally, I'd say "come on, I'll share", but tonight I am REALLY short on good mood :eek: The "bunny" watching gave me the short end of the deal! :eek: He has NEVER been homesick - until tonight at 8pm! He wanted to go home! Normally, no prob. but its a 2 hour ride to his house for me and I am NOT doin' it at 8 in the evening! I let him call Mommy to say goodnight which turned out to be a severe mistake. The next mistake came in trying to put him to bed on our water bed- has never slept on one and refused to go tobed (didn't like it rolling him around). Okay. The boys have been gone so their rooms have been heatless for a week so he couldn't sleep there. It turned out to be a sleeping bag on the hallway floor:rolleyes: I put a nightlight in the boys' bathroom (at the foot of his sleeping bag) and there is light from the livingroom where hubby and our friend are playing PS2. "It isn't enough light" - too bad. I am NOT lighting my house up like daytime-noon to let you sleep! :p so pooh! Okay, won't keep going (although list just goes on) and bore you, but I do feel better venting :D Thanks ! LOL

Tomorrow morning I'll send good mood and motivation vibes your way *wink, wink* I swear I"ll have enough to go around after I recharge the ol' tanks :D

adjustment to food:

never had that protein shake for dinner like Iwanted as I was so frustrated with the nephew thing and by the time I realised I hadn't had it, it was after 8pm and I won't eat after then so .... didn't have it :rolleyes: not really hungry but feel like I was supposed to make myself have something.

Tomorrow gets better by 11 am as I return the teardrop to his home :rolleyes: (DONT WORRY HH, I WILL HAVE MOTIVATION AND MOOD TO SEND YOUR WAY BY 5 AM SO BE READY - or atleast receptive in your sleep:D )
 
Don't ya just love watching other peoples kids? They can be just so sweet sometimes. :rolleyes: Don't worry, it will all be over soon. And I will definitely make sure I am receptive to any good vibes sent my way while I am sleeping. I need all that I can get! Tomorrow will be a new day. Hopefully I can get out of my slump. I'm sure it doesn't help anything that the only time I have been out of the house this week is to go to one stupid doctor after another! But, this is your diary, so I will get rambling about my problems. I will be in a better mood tomorrow. I will be in a better mood tomorrow. I will .... well, I better be anyway!
 
Ramble away, my friend, ramble away :D At least that way I know I'm not the only one! LOL I have been up since just before 4!!! :mad: Had to sleep on the couch (so nephew could find me during the night) WITH THE LIGHTON IN THE KITCHEN so it shines in my eyeballs!!! GRRRR! I see a long walk then a long nap in my future (after we lose the little motor) :rolleyes:

Did you get those vibes I sent, HH? ;) I was thinkin' of ya :) (Well, that and even if you lived close enough to call, you wouldn't have appreciated a 4am alarm call! LOL)

okay, off to bug you in your diary :p :D THEN off to find food - I am starved since I didn't eat dinner! LOL
 
Wah-hooo! Just stepped on the scale for an "unofficial" weigh day and am down to 189.5 despite yesterdays eating mess!!!!!! I HOPE it stays gone for the official day tomorrow! :D Then I can kiss the 190's goodbye!!!
 
Hey Cassie! Well, I must have gotten some of those good vibes because I am feeling somewhat better. Maybe some of them got intercepted on the way. Lol! :rolleyes: Maybe I will be in a better mood today. Sure wouldn't wanted to have gotten up at 4 (your time), that would have been 3 here! :eek: But I think your telepathic communication worked again, because I sure did wake up early than I wanted to for some reason. :D

Congratulations on losing more weight!

The little motor is now home (THANK GOODNESS!!) and now for some lunch and a quick nap :) I got up at my "normal" time, but I sure didn't sleep so hot so I am REALLY tired now, especially after driving 2 hours to bring him home :rolleyes:

have to work early tomorrow so I can leave early to get the boys and go grocery shopping :D I miss the little buggers!!! Its been over a weeks since I've seen them!!!!

Oh, it's ok. I don't need to sleep all day or then I won't be able to go to bed at a decent hour. Plus I needed to study all day, not sleep. :rolleyes: Glad that you got rid of the little motor. Now you can get back to your normal schedule. Hopefully your boys have learned a little lesson about fighting before you get them back tomorrow.

How do you always do so well on your calories? You never go over. I had PB today too. Great minds think alike! Lol! :D

By the way, I thought that line about p's and q's in Kate's diary was hilarious! Wish I'd thought of it!
 
LOL Oh, HH you are so good for me in the mornings!!!! :D :D Well, I can't get you up as early today as lately since the one morning I NEEDED to get up around 4 I slept until after 5!! :rolleyes: I still won't be late but I don't get a lot of "leisure" time to start out the day. I KNOW they've learned their lesson - they have called twice wanting to come home and when i told them they can't they thought it was b/c they fought :rolleyes: On one hand I feel bad they think that, but on the other I know they've learned it was not an okay thing to do ;)

As for the calories, I get a lot of protein (fitday.com says its around 40 - 46% of my calories most of the time). It keeps me full so most of the time I have to MAKE myself eat. I use protein powder A LOT b/c I don't really eat much meat.;) I LOVE peanut butter but b/c its so high in fat ( I don't like the LF stuff) I have it as a "treat" once or twice a month.

I am kind of surprised I thought of the p's and q's myself! LOL Mama always tells me to "mind (my) p's an q's" when I go somewhere and it came to mind when I read about her i's and n's !LOL (See Mama, I DO listen to what you tell me - I just don't always pay attention AFTER! hehheehehe)

Woke up this mornin' with another 2 day (so far) headache :( Its either not enough sleep yesterday is still lingering ( I do still feel tired which isn't like me) or TOM is creepin' up again (figures!).

HOWEVER, I got on the scale this mornin' and am down to 188.3 after being at 193 for the start of the challenge last week!!!! YAY!!!! I think some of it may have been water weight but it still is good to not see 190 something anymore!! Whoopieeee!!!

Goin' in to work early so i can leave early. have to get the boys after work and then go grocery shopping (first time in over a month!!). May not be home until late but will try to come back before bed :D

Sendin' more vibes your way today, HH! Hope it helps w/ doc. appt :D

I'm glad I am able to help you start your days off in a good mood. I must admit that I am starting to feel a little better myself after stopping in a few diaries. Hope you are sending those vibes my way right now, because I sure do need them after stepping on the scale this morning! Oh no! You slept until after 5! Shame on you! That is so late! Lol! :rolleyes:

Glad the boys learned their lesson about fighting. Hopefully they won't give you any more trouble with it. How old are they again? I have a 13 year old boy who is at that age where he likes to pick on people. He likes to call the kids at school names and stuff. He says "well, they call me names too." :rolleyes: Oh, yeah, that makes it ok! :rolleyes:

Anyway, maybe I need to try to find ways to get in more protein. Probably what I really need it to find a way to stop eating when I am not even hungry, just depressed about how I am not losing enough weight, or bored because I can't do much of nothing.

Haven't been grocery shopping in over a month? You must be pretty darn good at getting everything you need. We usually go once a week, sometimes more when we forget something. Lol!

Congratulations on being down under 190! I will be so glad when I get there. Slow down so I can catch up! Lol! Just joking. Lose that weight! :D

Nice! That is so AWESOME! It feels so great to get into a new weight class doesn't it? No more 190's for you! Keep up the good work!

Hi all, thanks for stoppin' in whilst I was away :D

RNW, a magic Monday it certainly has been! :D I couldn't believe it when I stepped on that brat of a scale I have - I had to weigh myself twice! LOL

HH, the boys are 10 (goin' on 30 sometimes :rolleyes: ) They always give me the " but everybody else is" as well and find it gets them nothin' but reprimanded! LOL I use Starr Six Body Fuel (thank you, Paula :) ). Its a quick, high protein, lowfat breakfast and it holds me over for atleast 4 hours. As for grocery shopping, I don't get any package mixes - just "from scratch" things and it makes my food go farther and is healthier t' boot. :) Tonight I spent 200 (after 80 in coupons :rolleyes: - drives my hubby nuts) and I got food enough for ATLEAST two weeks. The only things we get more often are bread and milk. I am so glad to have kissed those 190's good-bye! You'll catch me soon enough, you'll see :D

Paula, I haven't seen the 180's in SOOO LONG!!!! I never thought I'd see them again! LOL

NewLeaf, I threw them a big goin' away party - complete with banners!! LOL


Well, didn't get home until 720pm :rolleyes: Spent over 2 hours in that stinkin' grocery store! I took the kids to Mc D's for their "welcome home" dinner AND I DIDN'T GET A THING!!!! :D Of course, now I'm starving since I only had a little lunch at 11 and 2 slices of cheese at 3, but will plan my dinner soon and then update. Right now, time to make hubby's dinner and my own then toss the boys into bed for school tomorrow (YAY!) See ya soon :)

MMMMMMM salads are highly under- rated!!! Well, okay, maybe it's cause I haven't eaten since my slices of cheese at 3 :rolleyes: But, boy, my taste buds were starvin' for flavor!!!

Hey Cassie! You sure did have a busy day! Work, going to get the boys, grocery shopping, and then making dinner. Wow! You are superwoman! I might have to look into the protein shake. Especially since a lot of mornings I just don't feel like eating so early.

Ahhh, 10. My daughter is 10. What a wonderful age. :rolleyes: Just wait until they are teenagers! Lol! My daughter is one of those "can't wait to be a teenager" kids.

Your salad sounds yummy. Wish I wasn't so darn picky about the things I eat mixed together. :rolleyes:

HH, superwoman I wish I was, but to no avail. The dishes haven't beed done for two days ( my task d' jour) and laundry is still overflowin'..... I keep hopin' for help but it doesn't come - probably a good thing since I would find problems with how anybody else does it (I'm funny that way LOL ) The boys "can't wait to be a grown-up' :rolleyes: And here I wish I had the "responsibilities" of my 17 year old self! I can't praise protein shakes enough, really. I seriously think thats whats kept me as on track has I have been (can you imagine working in a chocolate factory without it?!?!?!?!?!) Mama just started it and shes noticing a difference too - she is a "snacker" big time! LOL (and I wonder where I got it :rolleyes: ) Come on, you nut, toss some veggies in a bowl and go at it! :p :D LOL

MO2, glad you could visit! :D Salads are my " I don't know what I want and am too hungry to think about it" meal! LOL I was so hungry last night I could've eaten a horse! (Isnt' it lean meat?! LOL) I'm busy as always, but I know you have been too. Missed you, too - I'll have to pop on over to your place for an update ;)


Well, ladies, TOM hit me like a TON of bricks yesterday :rolleyes: Then it decided to wake me up at 430 (HH, have you been gettin' vibes??! LOL) Work aughta be fun. On my feet running all over all day :rolleyes:

Today is the boys' first day back to school. Now I have to get used to the "normal" schedule again. I am actually geared to go to work but can't get there until almost 9 *sigh* I like my job but can't be there as early as this last week. I will also be "skipping" lunch to get an extra half hour pay per day. I eat my lunch during one of my 15 minute breaks that I shorten to "scarfing" time. :rolleyes: It turns out to be like 5 minutes or so - just enough to stuff my face real quick so I don't starve or crash before work is done. Oh well, could be worse! LOL

Well, off to find some breakfast and then visit you guys :D
