Well, dark chocolate is supposed to be good for ya. Maybe if we take a chocolate bunny and smash it all to pieces, it won't have any calories!

I agree!!! :D Its supposed to lower cholesterol or something like that  I say lets smash one!!! LOL Do ya want dark or milk chocolate??? :D

LOL just when he gets to thinkin' I'm "normal" I change on him!! LOL poor, poor dear :D

Hi Bize! Thanks for stopping by my diary to check on me while I've been so busy! I just got caught up on yours. Sorry to hear daycare is raising its rates. That does seem pretty steep. It's good for the daycare center because they know kids have no school and they can raise their rates, since parents usually have to work. But it's bad for you. I hear you about not wanting to work to pay daycare. Heck, perhaps you should open a daycare center and take their business this summer! hehe I've never understood how they come up with their rates anyhow.

I think if you are doing some manual labor for work you could count those calories burned as exercise. Why not? I would, it all adds up and you are probably getting stronger too, right? I had a friend who did stocking work, she said she lost 30lbs her first month at work from all the lifting.

I hope you have a good weekend!

Good morning Cassie! How are ya doing this morning? Must have been going acorns again this morning since you didn't have time to post in your own diary! :D Remember, watch your step when you come in and out the door by the oak tree! And don't let them see how much of a nut you really are since they are "nut free!" :p

You guys are whats NUTS! lol

How you doing cassie? your diet is looking good! Hope you have a beautiful day!

LMAO!!! Hi HH :D yup, an acorn mornin' again :D I TRY to act "normal" when I am there but I must admit, I don't always succeed! LOL (especially by the end of the day on Fridays!!! heheheh)

Hey ya MJ :D I had thought of doing daycare but i just don't have the patience for too many little kids. So many of them are let to "run" their parents' lives and you can't reprimand a child for fear of someone screaming child abuse. I wasn't afraid to give my kids a spankin' when they deserved it up until they were 6 or so. Now I get comments on how "well behaved" they are - I can't let a child run over me. It just isn't in my nature  I never spanked a lot but when I did the boys knew they had pushed every button I had or they had done something really serious. You can't even spank a childs hands now for fear of "child abuse". Nope. No daycare watchin' for me.

As far as work, I don't know if my body would consider it "working out" after a while if I do it every day. Kind of like mixing up exercise???? I know I am exhausted after running all over creation all day:D

Us?! We aren't nuts! We're acorns - just ask HH :p:D LOL Doin' okay - busy as a bee but happily so :) Its Friday - it can't be bad :D

well, so far today for food:

1 white toast
2t miracle whip
1 egg
3 pc turkey bacon
skim milk

baked beans

Hey, thats too normal!!! Lets see what I can get for dinner!! LOL

water so far - about 10 oz but working on the rest like a demon :D

will be back later to update for dinner :D

Well I don't know, but I can tell you one thing. These GS cookies sure are driving me nuts! We ended up without a box of thin mints because the numbers got added wrong, and then had two boxes of one thing when we were supposed to have two boxes of something else! I swear, they shouldn't do this to a person already on the verge of nuttiness!

You're right. That's too normal for what you normally eat. :D I'll check back later to see what you had for dinner.

hi HH and MO2 :D HH, I'm sorry those danged GS cookies are makin' ya more nuts! That is an awful thing t' do to someone as close to the edge of sanity as you are :p :D hehehe I wonder if I am feelin' okay..... see, EVEN MY DINNER WAS SORTA NORMAL!!!! Yipes! Whats wrong with me?!?!?!?!! :p :D

MO2, I love the job :D A few people have told me they can't believe how fast I am for a beginner. Its kind of nice to be "together" enough to be considered fast at something I have never done before. :D The funny thing is, I am training someone!!!! I was there a week and they asked me to train this girl who is going to be wrapping for me!!!! Kind of nice, but a lot to handle when I am new at it. Oh well, at least they realise I am competant enough to multi-task :D

Well, dinner was rather normal, too.... wonder whats goin' on with me! LOL

steak
green beans
1/4 c saffron rice

total cals. for today: 1219

water for today: 64 oz

ahhhh, on to tomorrow - a houseful of family all day

Well, maybe it just got so normal for you to have UN normal things that now having the normal things is what is actually not normal. So in that way of thinking, you are doing just what we would expect. Think about that one for a little while! :p :D

ROFLMAO!!! You sure you're okay?!?!?!?! :p :D LOL Well, knowing me you're right, HH! LOL Man, what a way to start the day, I love it! Thanks :D

Another early mornin' oh well, I don't feel tired and I get to watch the snow fall in the streetlight by the house (in silence, alone, no house cleanin' this early :) ). Since Papa works for a town just south of us, I know my parents will have to cancel coming up tonight as Papa will have to plow/ be on call :( I know it shouldn't upset me, but i haven't seen them in so long and its not like I can move everybody down to their house (we have other company coming, too). What a pisser :( I was looking forward to it too... oh well, we can reschedule since I don't work weekends :) Maybe I can plan a big dinner (healthy of course) and get my grandparents to come to.....oh, the planning, the planning (the best part next to cooking for a bunch of family:D ).

Gettin' kind of hungry but don't wanna get hubby up in order to run the micro or cook anything. Guess I'll settle for a protein shake for now and the rest later......... Have t' think about that......

well, off to see if I can wake y'all up :D

Well, I guess it must have worked. I was wondering why I woke up so early for no reason. It must have been because I heard you calling! :D

No, I'm not sure I'm ok, actually. It must be all this medicine and sitting around unable to do anything. Or maybe you are just rubbing off on me! :p

Sorry your parents won't get to come visit. Hopefully you will be able to plan something with them soon.

Hi elizab3th and RNW :D Thanks for stoppin' in :D

HH, our telepathic communication was workin' right this mornin' :D Me rubbin' off on ya is a good thing! :D (your hubby might wonder who the raving lunatic is who took your spot, but change is good - keeps 'em on their toes :p :D ) My brother and sister came up (this sis doesn't drive) with my little nephew - good thing too! Hubby requested my "special" corn chowder so I made a big pot - BUT I CAN'T STAND CHOWDERS!!!! LOL I also cooked a big turkey since we have 3 turkeys (all 14+ pounds) in the freezer! I don't know who is gonna eat all this since the boys don't come home until monday after I get out of work!!! Well, turkey sandwiches, turkey soup (with the major bowl of rice I made last night), turkey tetrazinni, turkey stew, well, you get the idea  We'll be eating it forever!! LOL Good thing I like bird! hehehhehe

well, if ever i had a cheat day (and I rarely let myself have one) today was it.... i had a cookie and a handfull of chocolate chips to top off turkey WITH THE STINKIN' SKIN ON!!!! Ugh!!!!! I know I need to keep the body guessing but my weigh day is Monday and I am doin' the challenge!!!! Oh, well, I am only having a protein shake for dinner and its back on the "wagon" tomorrow!!

My nephew wanted to spend the night and, since I didn't have the boys, I told him he could. He is a 7 year old hyper little motor with minor ceribal palsey (sp?). Its kind of like watching a top spin in circles!!! LOL He has the energy of the li'l pink bunny, the mobility of a drunk, and the mouth of his father! What did I let myself in for!?!?! LOL I told his mom I would drop him off with his father tomorrow mornin'.... of course, I will pump him full before doin' it :) His father doesn't like to watch the kids so he makes my sister run herself ragged to find care for them. I think he was drunk when he said he'd watch them while sis worked - its time he got to do it and do it for REAL!!!! (he normally just sends them to his Mama but she wont' be home). I know I am a terd but its time for him to see what my sister puts up with on a daily basis after she gets out of work. Their other son is just like this one except he has no diability - she gets run to the bone. WHOLE OTHER STORY SO I'LL STOP THERE!

ANYWAY...

food for today..

steak hash (with rice not potatoe) w/ hot sauce

protien shake

turkey & rice ( I hate chowders - blech!)
1 nutter butter PB cookie
handful of milk chocolate chips

protein shake

total calories for today: abso-freakin'- lutely no idea! LOL

water so far: 64 oz and continuing to drink the well dry hehhehe

exercise: "bunny" chasin' ; marathon cleaning ( fast as I could for an hour - jeeze, I forgot how that makes ya sweat!!! LOL)

okay, will update later. Everybody have a great weekend :D
