The day is already starting out rough! Jeeze! First we got up late since the SET alarm didn't go off only to discover we were later than we thought b/c, WING NUT that I am, I forgot to reset my clock after the power went out on Friday!!! :mad: Glad I made all lunches last night.

So here I sit, chugging breakfast and typin' as fast as I can, trying to catch up with my day ALREADY! yeesh!

gotta run. will check on everybody later :D

editing in exercise info: tae-bo advance 15 minutes (why is it every time I am in a time crunch the darn vcr won't work?!!!! :mad:) Well, got in what I could - will try to walk tonight. Right now its showa- time :)

OH! BTW I'm officially STUCK! The scale is still at 193.9 :eek: Oh Well, at least I didn't gain anything :D

Well you and I are in the same rut then! Im also stuck. Let's help each other through this because lord knows I need it! Ive GOTTA increase my exercise by a mile a day this week, i hopes of seeing myself get back on track! So let's bust some butt this week and get through it!
 
Cassie, you'll get there and bust this rutt! :) Toss in some different exercise this week just to throw your body for a loop! And I bet you will def. see some changes!! ;)
 
The good thing abt. being stuck in a rut is that usually it's followed by a bit of extra wt. loss. I hope that's the case! How's the new job?
 
Hey Bize. I know how frustrating it is to be stuck. I am having the same problem. I didn't lose anything last week, despite being good. I have my fingers crossed for this week - but who knows.

Don't let it get you too frustrated. Hang in there. Plateaus stink, but you will get through it!! Shaking things up a bit is great advice. Might be just what your body needs to get kickstarted again. :)
 
Don't you just hate it when you get up late! We forget to reset the clock sometimes or check the volume (the youngest seems to think it is funny to go in there and turn it down) and then we are rushing around like chickens with our heads cut off. These days I just seem to say forget it, there is no way I can make it that fast. It takes so much longer to get ready these days. :rolleyes:

Hope your first day went well! And threaten that scale some more. Tell it that it is not going to be happy if I catch up to you! :D

LMAO! You're too much. I hear you about the scale. It's like big daddy, saying "Come on over hear baby and step on this, come on, get on it, what's that? You don't want to? Oh no, get on over here girl, come to daddy, show me whatcha got!" haha I know that was ridiculous, but I think that sometimes as I am staring over at it. I have it next to my refrigerator on the floor. It does build character. LOL

Hi Kate! :D I'll help you and you can help me - thats a deal! With this new job I am in a stinkin' chair for 8 hours with no standing breaks!! Ugh! I really like what I am doing but Lordy how my back hurt from sitting so long! Well, at least I wasn't the chair I sat IN :p :D I did my exercising early but didnt' have time to fit in a whole session :( I actually MISS IT!!! Oh well, I WILL figure out how to squeeze it all in b/c I need it like air! LOL

Yup, its kick butt time! :D

Good evening NewLeaf :D Change is the name of the game this week! LOL Exercising earlier in the morning, sitting for 8 hours, bust butt when I get home to cook dinners and help with homework. Yup, DEFINITE change from working just for myself at home :) I WILL get out of this rut if it KILLS me! LOL

Hey ya, MO2 :D Lets hope there IS an extra loss next week! :D Yup, yup! I love the new job so far :) I'll be wrapping chocolate in my sleep but its fun - a great group of people who I already kind of know from when I worked at a local deli. I only wish I could have something to drink while I worked :( After drinkin 3/4 gallon every day I have only been able to get in 64 oz so far today since I couldn't start drinkin it til I got off at 4. As long as I get AT LEAST that 64 I won't worry about it too much. BTW, I will NEVER eat chocolate again!!! LOL Seeing it in 100 or 200 pound batches is too much of a good thing! :eek:

Hi Fluff :D Here's hopin all the changes this week kick this plateaus butt!!! LOL I really haven't had too much time to think about it today, but I am trying really hard to see it as an " At least I didnt' gain anything" experience. When I gain, I go beyond frustration to "gonna kill that scale"! LOL

Hi ya HH :D Being late doesn't happen often (timeliness is an obsession of mine :rolleyes:) but when it does, look out! I tend to do everything as fast as i can and it doesn't always have pretty results!! LOL First day of the job was a blast despite so much sitting :rolleyes: Yup, I will tell the scale " HH will catch me and then I'll eat lots of chocolate and stand on you for hours after massaging you with a sledge hammer!" hehehehe It WILL move next week! (or I'll make it!):p :D

ROFLMAO!!! OH MissJ, that was exactly what I needed!!! OH man u r 2 funny!! Thanks! :D You're right, though. I think it does just want us to step on it to taunt us - sometimes I can hear it shoutin' "don't ya wanna know what you are right now? You know you do" from the bathroom! LOL
 
What a rush it seems today was - I don't even know where most of it went! I exercised early, got all kid off to school, went to work, picked up the kids from tutoring and came home to make them dinner and its already 6 pm!!! There is still so much to be done before I crash for the night:rolleyes: I dont really mind as I like to be busy, but what a complete change from lately! LOL

okay, rest of food for today:

1 small pc cake ( a b-day at work so someone brought a cake :rolleyes: go figure!)

turkey bacon
egg whites with swiss
skim milk

total calories today (incl. cake) 1107

water today: 64 oz (I wont' complain unless it falls below that for the day since I can't start drinkin' until 4pm)

total exercise today: 15 minutes Tae-bo advance. Thats a "must fix" :mad: I really missed my longer session today not to mention I will stay in this "rutt" if I dont' move my booty!!! :p :D

Nothing worse than the bday cake at work. Grr! You've had quite a day. Is it a big adjustment being back at work? Great job staying under 1200 even w/ the cake! Is Tae Bo like Kickboxing? I love my KB class!!
 
MOrnin:D MO@, it is a HUGE change working outside the home again! The kids have not taken to it well, even though I see them the same amount as I did before. Last night was rough - boys were cranky and fighting all night and really whiny due to the changes :( It can't be helped, though. Our home businesses are so slow in the winter its hard to make ends meet. OH well, spring will be here soon enough and then I 'll be bustin' with work.

I will apologize to everyone now. I found it REALLY hard last night to fit everyones journals in after work. Discovered there isn't enough time to return client phone calls, make dinner, etc when I get home later :rolleyes: I WILL make this work, though. Its only two months, afterall :)

So this morning i squeezed in 20 min. of BL dvd. I think next time I try the low impact cardio since my body doesn't seem to like early morning exercise :( I actually needed my inhaler this morning and I haven't needed it at all when I was exercising in the afternoons. Jeeze, I can't be shaking when I am trying to wrap chocolate with foils the size of postage stamps! LOL

Food so far for Toadie...

frosted mini wheats w/ skim miilk
2 pc turkey bacon

seafood "salad" sandwich on light wheat

total calories after lunch: 550 (provided they quit with the cake already! :rolleyes:)

exercise: BL 20 minutes h. intensity cardio

water so far: 8 oz :(

gotta split - chaos time! LOL
 
Morning Cassie! Don't worry about hitting all the journals every day! You just worry about getting used to the new routine right now. ;) You're doing great though! I hope the kids settle down into it soon enough. Always takes them longer than we think to adjust to something new! :)
