Cannon's Journal

Well I'm leaving in the morning and I'm not so sure that I'll get a chance to post before I leave so in the event that I don't, I wanted to thank everybody for all the support and let you know I'll be getting back very late Sunday night so if you don't hear from me for a few days it doesn't mean I'm somewhere in the fetal position with the remains of 8 packages of Oreos or anything.

 :rofl:HA HA HA   I hope yo have a great time - looking forward to hearing from you when you get back and reading abt all your fun and adventure :D:D:D
Have a good safe trip!!! You will be missed

I want to be the Greek God!! haha But you are right, Choice 3, I'd take it. Right now, I think I am falling it at number 2.

Too funny, but true.

Hey I'm back--I'll try and do a concise update because I have a bunch of messages and things to get caught up on. This place is actually the first place I went upon returning and I am looking forward to getting caught up with everybody.

My progress on my trip was mixed. I did a lot of eating at weird hours and while I got really good exercise, I also got a really nasty blister (My leather gym shoes weren't as worn in as I thought they were and on Friday I looked down to see half my white sock was now red). My weight is up, but last night we go in about 3:30 and that meant basically shotgunning diet pepsi and even hitting a McDonalds drive though just for something hot to eat. We hadn't had much sleep and it was very important to be awake for the 6 hour drive. I think when the sodium goes away I'll have a better idea of just what damage I did. The snacks I brought with did indeed help, but I gave into temptation a bit more than I should have too. Overall, I give myself a grade of C-. I hope this blister becomes a calous soon because it is realy going to be a problem with working out.

Hi Cannon. It's nice to see you back, and (almost) still in one piece. :) I would have said you should have no trouble with the blister healing rapidly but it sounds more than normally nasty!! Good luck.

I gather there was a very long drive involved in your trip. Reflecting on your post I realize that's always been the hardest part of traveling well for me. That's something for me to keep in mind for a trip I have happening in a couple of months...

So is it guitar time now? :)

Im sorry abt hte blister - Im glad everyhtign went well and you had a good time - Im looking forward to hearing from you and im glad you are back!!! You were missed!!!

Thanks ladies :). I am giving my blister one more day to heal and then I'm hitting the gym. I think I may be able to walk so I will go walking tonight. I have the guitar books, but the 2 main things for the next week are to look into condo prices in this area and also to look into hooking up with a new gym. Storms knocked out the internet connection for 6 hours yesterday which limited my ability to do a lot of things that needed doing including hitting the diaries. Hopefully today will be easier.

I am glad your blisters are healing, good luck on your walk but dont over do it on the blisters.

How's your Wednesday starting out? Or are you still in bed? LOL, slacker! :rotflmao:

Ya really - ha ha ha - you just get back from vacation and your ass isnt out walking - like what the hell:confused:

  :jump: I had to comment - I couldnt leave that one alone...

Sorry abt your net connection it practicly kills me even though I hardly use this thing but I enjoy checking in here...

Well we had storms which stopped me from walking last night too, but its beautiful now and I intend to get out walking this morning. I did sleep in until 7:30--darn right I was lazy ;) Hope to post today.

Good morning Cannon! :) It's been too long since I have been by to say hello and check in with ya! Hope you find a gym you like and that you can get back to your walks...danged blisters!

Welcome back Cannon, I missed you. I'm excited for your plan to go to the gym, I just know you are going to get hooked and love it. I'm heading to Okanagon in 17 days (yes counting days now, not weeks) and am taking Rufus, so I can walk/jog/cycle with him every day. It's all fruit orchards in a semi-desert setting so I'll be eating a lot of fruit and drinking red wine...hmmm, missing some protein in that plan. tee hee
