Faye, I just read in another thread that you are from Lincolnshire. What city? I spent a semester in Grantham back in 1992. Yes, Maggie Thatcher's old stomping grounds. :beerchug: How did you end up in NC??

My family live in salmonby. where is a village 5 miles from Horncastle which is our nearest town. we basically live 45 mins from both skegness and Lincoln.

grantham is about 1.5 hours drive away :)

Well when i was working in london (where i moved to when i was 18 to get away from the countryside) i started talking to a guy through my company, who we dealt with in NC. this guy is now my boyfriend :) we spoke on the phone a few times whilst at work and then sent some e-mails, 2 months later he came to see me for 10 days :D after that we flew back and forth a bit and i decided to move over . all is going well <3

some of the machines just look SO scary :p My boyfriend is going with me to the gym on Saturday and teaching me a basic circuit weights workout he said, so ill make a note of things and then i should be able to do it on my own next time i go. Sometimes when ive used resistance machines in the past i get all kinds of pains. One involved resting your arms on a pad and bringing 2 weighted bars upto you, but i got the WORST shooting pain in my stomach when i did this. no idea why :(

wow thats crazy sarah getting to sleep at 6am. I thought i had it tough sleeping at 3 lol. I guess when you get used to the schedule though it makes it easier, like ive found ways to keep busy until my man gets home , this way i don't fall asleep :)

My turkey, tomato muffin is so simple lol. But i love turkey, love muffins and LOVE tomato bits lol. Also i found out if you put a tsp of honey bbq sauce on it... omg..... YUMMY ! hehe

That's cool. Is your bf from NC then? Long distance relationships can be hard. It's nice that you're together and going well. :)

yeah they can. from the moment we met we were never apart more than 2 months which was nice but also tough. I moved here permanently last December and im so glad i did.

nope havent heard of that manor, i think i only went to grantham once or twice in my life so im not very familiar with it. Its cool you studied there though !
 
well the weekend seems to be busy so i may not get to post much, I'll be back Monday :D

1.3 lbs loss this week, not bad but i feel i could of done better. I'm going to up my workout intensity this week.. WOOOO

heyyy !!

yeah ive been a ghost since friday. I've been sooo busy, and also our internet was acting up.

Workouts are going well. i put on 1lb over the weekend from bf's moms home cooking and a night out with friends :( But im now back down to 207 so hoping to hot 205 by saturday.

I'll get back into the swing of posting my food log etc tomorrow :)

so we went to an iron pour at the weekend, to see our friends who are sculpture students doing their iron pouring.

Thought id share some pics. it was amazing to watch, and sooo pretty at night.

Okay so im finally back.

Ive been MIA for about a week now. Mostly because ive been in an utter SLUMP. TOM was here and ive been grumpy, then i kinda got a bit blue with teh boyfriend working overtime and me getting lonely so i was binging a bit. Like id have 3 protein bars in a day and 2 100cal ice-creams etc. It was a bad week last week. Despite all the binging i lost 0.2 pounds which is nothing but eh. Then the day after weigh in the scale read 210. I wasn't surprised.

I just feel like i kind of hit a wall and im all blaaaaaah. I may detox for 2 days to try boost myself a bit and push nearer to onederland. I'm still exercising and eating ok, but i feel like i lost all the positive drive i had and im no just plodding along. ururrrghhh

I decided today to try pick myself back up and get back on track so my posting will begin again and i shall get back in the mood.
