Pics of me and the size 8 pants

Weigh in is tomorrow and definitely don't think it will be a good number, however I know a lot of it will be water weight, and even if it isn't I know it's cause I didn't eat as I should. Rather than me doing everything right then having the scale move in the wrong direction which is more frustrating I think. Just gotta get right back on it!

Well my weigh in actually wasn't so bad. I was actually down, only by 0.4 but still that's a loss!

Starting Weight: 168lb (Original Weight from a few years ago, my heaviest)
Current Weight: 146.6lb
Mini Goal: 155lb by October 27th *MADE MINI GOAL Oct 19th*
Mini Goal: 150 lb by November 15th *MADE MINI GOAL Nov 9th*
New Mini Goal: 145 By Dec 7th *Didn't make it*
Final Goal: 128lb

Love the jeans, you look awesome! Congrats on the loss too- doesn't matter how small, a loss is a loss!! Christmas week too, that's awesome!

Thanks guys.
Yesterday was ok I think. I did eat a lot of treats and such but I only ate about 300 calories before I went to the party so I think I would only be over my calorie count by 200 ish. Gonna go to the gym today (almost wrote "hoping to go to the gym today" but changed it, b/c that left too much for me to be like I'm too tired or something. I am GOING to the gym today) and I am gonna stay under my calories today as I don't have any parties or anything to go to to set me off track today. So my plan today is to get up (I am still in bed) go straight to the gym, come home, change and get ready, then I am gonna go to the barn and ride. On my way home I have to stop at the grocery store, then I have to pick up a package from UPS, then head back home. Then I have the rest of the day to relax.

Finished my work out (30 mins elliptical, lower body weights, and adding a couple minutes of skipping just to see if I could actually still skip haha) and a delicious omelet (3 egg whites, cheese and meat for 156 calories).

I have decided to give myself a new date for my mini goal I was supposed to reach by dec 7. I am now gonna make it for January 11. The weigh in before my birthday. That way I can ask for a Victoria Secret gift card to go buy the workout gear that is my reward for making it to 145.

Under my calories for the day!! Yay!! Feels great to be under again!! Plus I was a bit more honest about my yogurt calories. I had been counting 35 calories for half a cup when in reality it is between 1/3 and 1/2 cup calories but closer to 1/3 of a cup is 35 calories. Tomorrow I should also be able to stay in my calories and workout. New Year's Eve I will workout but may not be in my calories though I will try to keep it close by watching my intake during the day. New Year's Day I will work out and eat within my calories. Then it's back to the regular grind on Wednesday though I do still have to deal with a weekend of Christmas food/celebrating next weekend as that's when my whole family is in town for Christmas. Then my birthday is about 10 days after that but I will just use that as my one cheat meal for the week. Then I shouldn't really have anything till the end of March.

I hate it when my foods' nutritional info are listed only by volume and not weight like that. Sometimes you'll see them where they are listed by volume in imperial (cups and tablespoons) but by weight in metric (grams). My scale has no clue how much a cup of cheese or rice is, but it can tell you how many grams it is very easily. Most pure liquids don't work that way unfortunately.

Sounds like you have a good plan for New Year's. Getting through the holidays can be tough. I don't think it's even necessarily the temptations, I think it's just that it's easier to achieve your goals when you're on a consistent schedule, and the holidays throw everybody's schedule out of whack.

Thanks. Yes its quite frustrating sometimes to figure out calories!!
Just got done at the gym. Did 30 minutes on the treadmill (6.5 speed, 6 min intervals. Forgot to check distance) then did upper body weights. Feels good to be exercising again though the treadmill was tough today.

Was under my calorie goal for the day! Awesome. I went to my parents' house for most of the day but brought along my own food to have, but was able to have their soup for supper (I virtually only eat the broth, so that cuts down on a lot of calories) and I ended up having so many calories to spare at the end of the day I could have 3 christmas cookies and still be under by 100+ calories.

THought I had posted this earlier so will post it again:
"What a hard workout. 30 mins elliptical (6 mins hard intervals), then did lower body weights. The lunges killed me. They were super hard today! I added 10 pounds to my weights but it was almost more cardiovascular! My heart was beating like crazy, from lunges! Could not have sweated more!"

What I was coming on here to post now:
Today is definitely gonna be an over calories day. I should have waited till closer to the party to make my dessert but I wasn't sure how long it would take, or if I accidentally forgot to buy something for it I wanted to have time to go pick it up. I then of course had to taste it, to make sure it was good. Well it's really good and I have had like 3 maybe 4 pieces of it!! And they are over 230 calories each!! Combine that with the omelet and 2 apples I already had and my calories are already at 1200-1430 (can't remember if I had 3 or 4 squares) and I have a party yet to go to this evening!!
I was originally gonna be really careful about calories today, so I could eat almost whatever at the party tonight, but now that I have eaten too much today I am gonna have to try to be careful this evening. I have been working out the last 3 days so that can make up for some extra calories eaten however, I really don't want to have worked out so hard and have it 'wasted' on one bad evening. And I REALLY want to see a loss this week since last month was not much for losses.

Did not do great today. Was probably close to around 3000 calories for food today. Oh well. Had a great night and a lot of fun!

Was back at the gym this morning, even with only 4.5 hours of sleep! Did 30 mins stationary bike (6 min intervals, 8.9 miles) then did upper body weights. Planning to stay in my calories though I am going to my parents' for supper but might bring my own food.

So my brother is in town and I allowed him to come use my gym in my building this evening and thought 'hey, might as well do another 30 mins of cardio" So I did another hard 30 mins on the elliptical, then I was gonna be done but a good show came on tv and I was like 'hey might as well just keep going at an easy pace and watch this show for a little bit more" I did 6 more mins on the elliptical then decided to switch to the treadmill and walked on a 3.5-4% incline for 30 mins! Burned a TON of calories today! Yay! A total of 96 mins of cardio today, plus 30 mins of weights! AND ate within my calories!

Hey Mystic - good work on the 96mins. cardio - way to go keeping the exercise wagon rolling !

Glad to hear you are almost done with Xmas meals too - it's hard work resisting all those treats ...I'm sure you're glad to be back to "normal" routine today- I know I sure am.

Thanks guys. First day back at work after my holidays (well, I worked one day in between christmas and new years) so I was super slow with my grooming, then headed off to the barn. I was really tired due to lack of sleep from new years and didn't get home till close to 7 and had not eaten much all day (it's nearly 9pm and I still have 600 calories left!) and worked out 4 days in a row so decided to take today off working out.

Hey Mystic - good idea to allow a day-off on exercise
- I am pretty sure with some plans I've seen - they do recommend a "recovery" day in muscle-work , helps reduce injuries & better muscle-building when you give yourself a "break" day.
