Burlesque Babe

Thanks.
Fairly happy with my eating today. Finished up at about 1555. Work was a bit trying today. Dealt with an unhappy owner as my other groomer messed up, dealt with a dog full of ticks, and dealt with a dog having a seizure (owners neglected to inform us it had a history of seizures), so by the time I was done work I had worked for 9 hours (I usually take about 10 mins for lunch though sometimes have to take dogs in or send dogs home during that time so I generally work non stop all day)

My diary's looking a little lonely the past few days. Poor diary.
Finished my cals at 1575 today. I wish I had kept it to 1500 cals but I did well considering I broke down and got a donair at work. I finished grooming at 1:30 today but had to stay at work till 4:30 so sitting there getting bored and hungry I couldn't resist a donair, but I re-arranged my evening cals so instead of being over 1800 cals I was much closer to my goal.

Looks like your back on track now....a little cheating now and them is not that bad but as you know, you gotta get back on the horse that threw ya..lol

Getting back on track is the most important thing!!! It so easy to get caught in that trap of unhealthy eating... I gained 50 FRICKEN pounds in a year before I was finally like whoa this is completely out of control. I went from being the hot girl to the fat girl again :( soooo not worth it. On a more positive note, maybe the upping of calories for a few days will rev your metabolism up a bit next few days :) You know how some people cycle their calorie intakes to manipulate this... its all a bit complicated for me, but stick to your lower calories next week and you might see a bigger loss than expected :)

The good news is that the eationg over maintenance may spike your metabolism a bit, so maybe you lose it a little quicker than you might otherwise.

Or maybe not. Unfortunately what nutritionists know about nutrition is much smaller than what they don't know.

Well, coming down a little from last week's bad week. Still am hanging on to some water weight and such, but whatever. I knew my eating wasn't perfect this month and these are the consequences.

Thanks. Bad day of eating today. I'm at my parents' house for the weekend watching the dogs and I always find it much harder to eat well here, and I'm still coming off my bad last week so cravings are high.
If I can stop eating for the day (and hopefully I can cause I currently feel sick from the bad food) I will finish up around 2360.
Now, if I can keep it to 1800 cals for the rest of the weekend I will still be in my calorie goal for the week, but I am having a BBQ party with friends tomorrow which will make it harder to stay in my calorie range. Gonna give it a good try.

Oops, probably finished about 3000 cals. :( Gotta break this funk when at my parents' house (and horse shows) Gonna try to be really careful for the rest of the weekend.

OH man, bad eating weekend! Phew!!!! And still have one more day to get through and a horse show next week!! Gonna be tough to get back and stay on track!

Had a not so great day eating as well on Sunday. Not sure how high the calorie count was, but it was up there.
So getting back on track is priority here as well (plus burning off the bad foods).

So let's get back on track :)

Urgh, its always one bad day that turns into another then its like an avalanche of days together.... It only takes one good day to get back on track though, you've come this far so you've done it before. Shake it off!

I tend to be a victim of inertia. If I start a pattern in one direction it tends to just keep going in that direction until I consciously put a stop to it. The good news is that this can be used in your favor as well; get going in a good direction and it becomes much easier to keep it up.

Thanks you guys. It's still going a bit rough as I didn't have any groceries till I just now went and got them. I have decided I am gonna try to switch to maintenance for a couple or so weeks. I'm still having a hard time getting back on track and I think that putting myself on maintenance will allow my to not feel deprived yet keep me in check a bit more. THen once I am nicely sticking to maintenance I will work back down to a deficit. I have a horse show starting tomorrow and going till sunday.

Thanks guys. I'm hoping to finish off at maintenance today. Yesterday I probably finished off a bit higher than maintenance, about 2500 or so. Show has been going pretty good so far. Have been exhausted lately!
Will try to get to everyone's diaries in the next couple days.
