Burlesque Babe

The 2500 won't hurt you, it just won't help you any. The 2000 and 1800 days should do you well though.

I'm still at roughly a 1000 calorie deficit, so I can screw up more and still drop weight. Getting close to the point though where it's going to get much harder for me. You've helped demonstrate that even when there's only a very little to lose, you can still get it done.

Thanks. Ya a day or 2 of 2500 won't hurt anything, it's me getting off track that will hurt things!
Today was a great day at the show. Had a good round with a good placing. Ate under 2000 cals so really happy with that.
Tomorrow will be another bad day as I forgot it was father's day so we are going out to a high cal restaurant after my horse show. Gonna try to be really careful the rest of the day with cals.

High caloroie days will happen. Getting back on track defines your character and your determination.
You're awesome and I know you will get right back on track!
Enjoy the father's day dinner!

Thanks.
SO I actually had a decent day today calorie wise. I'm not sure exactly how many calories my dinner out were but I put the whole meal down as 1800 cals. If that's correct then I finished off my cals at 2050.
Had a good day at the show. Won a decent amount of prize money which really helps to afford the shows a bit better.

Congrats on the show...thats really cool. Also congrats on navigating your cal intake through shows and fathers day meals and all the curveballs life throws! Thats really how you win this game. We all can get into a mini groove of weight loss and knock off a few pounds while our normal routine is in gear but so many (me included) have let life curveballs throw us off track

Good job on monitoring your calories! I've tried to but I always find it to be such a hassle I usually just divert to clean eating, low calories, low carbs and lots of lean protein. When you track your calories though you can have more control over your results- sounds like you have a good system. Do you use an app to track?

Thanks guys. It was tough for a couple days but I pulled out of it.
I track my cals with myfitnesspal.
I couldn't do 'clean eating' I need to eat the food I like to eat, most everyday to keep with the program! Cal counting isn't too hard with the app I use.
Finished cals today at 1521 or so. I should have exercised but I'm still a bit tired from the show and had a 9 hour day at work that was pretty tough. Still could have/should have done it, since I get busy preparing for my show this week starting tomorrow.

Thanks guys. Finished up at about 1500 cals today. Worked a nearly full day and rode my horse. Still no exercise which is bad. Will have to start up right after my show this week.

Was planning on finishing off today at 1500 cals but of course things got off track. I worked till 1:30 then had to get my horse to the show and ride and bath him to get him ready. I did all that but kinda finished at an awkward time. I have to do 'night check' on my horse at around 8 or so. Well I finished off my stuff at 6:15. So to go home would mean I'd drive 15 mins, spend just an hour or so at home before having to get back home drive back to the show, then drive back home. So instead I stopped at Edo Japan ate in there and wasted some time before driving back to the show to do night check a touch early then went home. Finished up about 2040.
Gonna keep my cals between 1800-2000 for the rest of the week. May be over my weekly goal but gives me a bit of leeway yet keeps things in check for the show.

Ya, it was yummy.
So I ate BAD BAD BAD BAD BAD today haha. My show for the day was canceled due to the weather (a lot of my city and surrounding area) is under flood watch and/or evacuated. (Me and my horse are totally fine), but that left me with a bizarre day. I had to go to and from the show multiple times to ride/feed/ walk my horse, so that left me with just enough time to get to my house and get a bit bored, but not enough time to do anything to stave off boredom so I ate. Whoops. I had a massive plate of nacho chips and cheese for lunch, and had vietnamese for supper along with chocolate and other things for a grand total of just under 3500 cals. Eee. However as long as I am decent for the rest of the week I could eat up to 2300 cals everyday and just hit maintenance so if I can keep it to 1800 cals I will still be under maintenance by a bit.
Not looking forward to weigh in tomorrow morning! Super high sodium today along with a high volume of food I am gonna be SKY HIGH!

I'm just glad to hear you and the horse are OK.
keeping it to maintenance for the week seems like a good plan, I should do that too (had a BBQ last night and gonna have a dinner out on saturday so I'm probably over on my cals on those days as well).

Show was canceled as our city is in a state of emergency due to the flooding, so if a rider were to fall and need an ambulance it could take hours.
I ate super bad again today. Probably a good 3500 cals. Have to eat about 1700 to stay in maintenance for the next 2 days. Hoping for closer to 1500. I feel awful and sick from eating so much and so poorly. DOn't know why I got so crazy off track these last couple days but hope I got it out of my system and I can get right back at it.

My scale (as predicted) was SKY HIGH!!! It was up over 2 pounds from yesterday's weigh in.

Starting Weight: 168lb (Original Weight from a few years ago, my heaviest)
Current Weight: 139 lb
Mini Goal: 155lb by October 27th *MADE MINI GOAL Oct 19th*
Mini Goal: 150 lb by November 15th *MADE MINI GOAL Nov 9th*
Mini Goal: 145 lb By Dec 7th *Didn't make it* New Date: March 1 *MADE MINI GOAL Feb 22nd*
Mini Goal: 140 lb By April 5th *Didn't make it* *MADE MINI GOAL APRIL 19th*
New Mini Goal: 135 lb by July 12th
Final Goal: 128lb

Phew, this has just not been my week eating wise. I wouldn't care so much about a bad week or 2 after 9 months nearly straight of eating well I don't think it's horrid to have a break but I would have preferred a planned break of eating to maintenance. This week wasn't planned and I will finish up above maintenance. I'm feeling a bit out of control and eating bad has intensified my cravings for eating bad so even when I am full and tell myself I am done eating either for the day or till the next scheduled meal I get cravings and go and eat.
I'm hoping that once I get back to work and on a normal schedule I can get back on track, however I rely do need to get ahold of myself during shows. I usually do 1-2 a month for most months of the year (except the dead of winter) so I can't let myself have bad weeks every show. I take food with me to eat but always don't feel like it or I end up going back and forth from the show to my house or my parents house and eat different food there then back to the show again. I'm still trying to log most of what I eat so I am keeping myself accountable and forcing myself to at least visualize how many cals I'm eating.

Whoo boy! This has definitely been my worst week since starting except for Christmas. I approximately 6200 cals over my weekly goal which is about 3500 cals over maintenance which means I could have actually gained a pound this week.
The biggest thing I need to do is get right back on track tomorrow and do a better job during the next horse show!

Alright, so far today is going well. Trying to get the energy to exercise but definitely gonna finish up around 1500 cals!

Had a good food day, finally! Finished up at about 1525. I did not get my exercise in, but I am ok with getting one thing on track first before getting totally mad that I didn't do exercise. Gonna try hard to get it done tomorrow.
