Yeah I thought about getting a tape measure. I may do that.

One disadvantage of losing weight- I can no longer sit in my recliner, recline a bit and set a plate on my belly while I watch TV! Not enough belly anymore!

Well kinda a crappy day yesterday. I didn't exercise so I only got in 5100 steps and I ate too much. I just kinda grazed all evening and probably ate 2500 -3000 calories.
Today is going much better
I already have 5500 steps and I am planning a trip to the track for a walk later. It's a bit rainy here but the walk is gonna happen wet or dry!
Eating is spot on so far but I still must face the evening munchy demons. (I hate those guys)
 
You're welcome :D Hope you can resist the evening munchy demons. I'll be facing them tonight, after a day's golf & G going out to 8-ball. Now, that could be a challenge! You may just inspire me to move more as I have been fairly lazy lately. 5500 already? OK, then.......
 
Evening munch demons hate the holy signs of fruit&veg. Combine the first with a light garlic dressing/dip if you think they might be vampiric in nature.

Walked a bit over 16000 on wed in weigh in prep and did a bit over 15000 yesterday
Here is my 8 week history of loss:
Week 1- 6 lb
Week 2- 5 lb
Week 3- 3lb
Week 4- 1 lb
Week 5 - 2 lb
Week 6- 2 lb
Week 7- 3 lb
Week 8- 2lb
I am 1 lb from being half way to my first big goal
I just gotta stay focused
The lowest I have been in 20 years is about 268 (or 266, I need to check). I am 14-16 lb from that.
I can do this!

Been gone a few days from here.
The last 3 days have been just ok. Not great not terrible. Let's break them down.
The good news- I walked 43000 steps in the first 4 days of November and i am planning a long walk today
The bad news- went to two events which included out to eat stops. I ordered much healthier than I would have in the past but still consumed more calories than I should have probably 2500-3000 on those two days instead of the 1500-1800 that I have been shooting for. The bottom line is I bet I haven't lost much since my weigh in on Thursday.
The plan- I must really kick it in for the next 4 days if I am going to continue my loss streak. 1 more pound will be 25 gone and half way to my big goal.
If I can muster up a loss this week that will be 9 weeks in a row of moving the scale downward.
I am the Captain of my own ship!

I´d say 1500 kcal for a day when you walk a lot is on the skimpy side but I can see it after a couple of high-calorie days. Well done!
 
The going out with friends or attending events are always tricky, but it sounds like you have your head well and truly in the game. Your progress so far is fantastic.

I would like to remind the crew that holidays are approaching! We need to batten down our hatches (metaphorically) and prepare for rough seas! We need to put a few good weeks together so when we sail through the treacherous sea of holiday treats and pass the carbohydrate islands, we can remain seaworthy!

End of day report
Got in 10700 steps and still made it to my daughters basketball game
Ate about 2000 calories. I wanted 1800 but 2000 is acceptable. Should still have been in the loser zone.

Nothing fancy just slow progress
