I typed this big thing and I accidentally hit some button on here andit disappeared....crap! Sigh...here goes again.


Weigh in ...282.0 down 4.5...Good but I can tell I am about to slow down because I was way active this weekend. Rode bike 10 miles saturday and cut firewood for 2 hours. I was running the chainsaw and when I got done I bet my heart rate was 200. I am gettin in a little better shape because I would not have been able to do that even 2 weeks ago.


I better get a laser focus for the next two weeks on my eating and ramp up my exercise a little if I am going to get in the 270's by Sat. Also I go to my regular Dr. visit on Jan 31 and I want 275 by then. 7lbs in 2 and a half weeks is doable if Im a good boy.


I rode my bike 8 miles this morning in 30 minutes. Got a busy day. No kids at schools today but administrators and teachers are working.


Todays mantra:

I ve done the first few weeks before. I kinda get pissed when I think that I have lost and regained this same weight (especially the first 20) like 7 or 8 times.


Well no where to look to cast blame except in the mirror.
 
hey brawny, hahaha 2 hours of car washing is nothing to cutting firewood!!! wooowee, let's see that 275 by Jan 31....My goal is 188 for jan 31! WE GOT 15 DAYS!!
 
I finally made it into reading your diary...okay...this page anyways. But I know how you feel losing, gaining and then having to relose weight. by the time I finish my mission I'll have lost 240 lbs, and I started out at 260 each time. Dammit. You live you learn though. This time, its got to be done the hard way, that way I learn my lesson.
 
Howdy my friends on the journey to skinnytown with me.

I was at meetings in Dallas yesterday so didnt post...but I was on plan with my eating ...I even passed up the pie that came with my lunch....gasp.

really sweets are not my weakness...burgers and fries are what got me heavy.


Well...I snuck on the scale this morning...279.4!!!

Down 2 and a half lb since Sat. morning. I thought I might see that since I had so much physical activity this weekend and had stayed pretty close to plan with my eating.


270s!!! now can I knock another pound or two by official weigh in on Sat???


Be miserable. Or motivate yourself. Whatever has to be done, it's always your choice.
 
So long 280s!!! Let's hope it's the last time.


Great job keeping on plan while travelling, can be trying times especially when people are inconsiderate enough to bring you delicious pies...


Betting you have another pound or two to give before Saturday rolls around, keep sticking to the plan and the results are going to follow.

Ok gotta psych myself up a bit...my trouble time with eating is in the evenings and Im about to head home. I gotta work on my dissertation tonight but lay off and crappy (technical term there) eating
 
Well, typing should keep your hands busy if your actually at the typing stage of your dissertation, but what to do to keep your mouth busy....oh I know, SING! Loud and proud.
 
Congratulations on passing that milestone Brawny77 and staying so motivated to keep at it while traveling! You are doing awesome!! Sing loud and proud!
 
Hope you made it through the evening ok and got some quality time in on the dissertation. What's the focus of your thesis?


I've been having the same problem so this week I'm trying to spread my meals out a bit later and have a mini meal around 3:30 and then only have one final meal around 6:30-7:00 when I usually get home.

Ate fair last night but woke up this morning with a sore hip not that bad but I didnt ride this morning. The last thing I need is an injury to keep me out of exercise for an extended time. Im gonna take today off and do some stretches tonight and hopefully get back in the exercise saddle Friday morning. Curse this 47 year old body.


So far today all I have eaten is a banana and a beef jerky (better convienince store choiice than a sausage and buscuit)


19 days with no fast food now...feeling kinda cleaned out.

Dr Brawny got a nice ring to it. When you specifically mention rural school safety, does that mean there's a big difference between urban school safety concerns?


Sorry to hear about the hip. Smart move taking a day off to recuperate, better to take the day off now rather than pushing through and causing more serious problems.
 
Hey, Just take it easy and build back into it. My dad served in the military for 20+ years and completely wrecked his knees... now he has to ease his way into any running he does. once and injury is there it can keep haunting you! great job on the eating! I am looking forward to your next weigh in.
