HI There! thanks for stopping by my diary, I can use any support I can get that's for sure, so thank you soooo much! You asked if popcorn was good to eat, it is IF.... you eat the one with no butter, or light and only eat a small bowl and not the whole bag, which is the hard part in my eyes. I try to stay clear of it, even though my hubby buys those huge boxes of butter popcorn from Sam's club, he does that for the boys, and some how I'm not tempted, I don't know why. I would rather grab a frozen ice pop for 15 calories instead, but that's me and I know it's hard to beat the cravings for some foods trust me, I'm a sucker for fresh baked bread! AHHHHHH :D Looks like your calories have been in check lately so great job!! I hope things get better for you on the money front I know we can all use more of that, that's for sure!! So today was good. I went to the YMCA down the street from me to get some information on the cost. I am trying to convince Dan's mother to sign up for the family plan. But if she doesn't... I'm going to do it myself. I can't afford to tomorrow or anything, but I am going to do it as soon as I find myself with an extra $50. Which will be in a week or two. I need to catch up on over-due bills. Thats all. Hopefully it will be all over with soon enough. Now that I don't have to pay for school...(it is 1/3 me, 1/3 dad, and 1/3 from mom) I am going to have plenty to pay my bills and stuff.

But if I joined the gym, I would definitely go ALL THE TIME. There is so much fun stuff to do there. So if the family plan falls through-I will join in 2 weeks.

I need to sit down and plan out my day for tomorrow.

Morning!! I'm 5.6 1/2 so we are close to the same height. If you need to hold off on adding another expensive to your monthly bills, then don't worry about the gym. There are a lot of things you can do at home to lose as well. You can ALWAYS do daily walks, I tell you that is a good way to lose weight! Also, you could purchase from Walley world some free weights and maybe a workout ball and do exercises at home, add crunches or maybe find a cheap ab roller like I use and make yourself use it every night before bed. Don't go broke by joining a gym, because that will add extra stress on you and you don't need that. ;) I know video stores sell cheap used tapes, sometimes you can find a good workout video for less than 5 bucks, sometimes those can be fun. Thank you KIM for stopping by!!! I have an ab lounge. I like using that. I do it when I remember, but I think I will try in nightly. How many should I do to start off with? like 30?

Well, today is going to be fun.

Breakfast/early lunch: a vegetable stir fry thing. Don't know the calorie amount, but I know it was good.

I'm not sure how the rest of the day is going to go food-wise, but i'm trying to keep it to fruit/veggies/ wheat bread/ protein.

Exercise: I'm going out today to a reserve to walk for about an hour. Maybe 4 miles? I might do more... depends on how I feel, and how Dan feels. I am also going to use the weight bench and my ab lounge tonight. And the yoga DVD probably. Because Dan is going out to wait for HOURS to get the Halo 3 game. So that leaves me time to exercise my butt off!!

I also have to remember to get that damn homework done.

I won't be disappointed if I can't get the gym membership with the family. I really want it, but I can wait until I have extra money. I can walk/play DDR/use the weight bench/do yoga/use the ab lounge/other things.

I just LOVE to swim, and being able to swim would be great exercise, and I would ALWAYS be in the mood to do it.
 
OK... now for the running tally of what I have been eating:

Breakfast: the veggie stir fry.
Snack: Orange
Lunch: Grilled cheese sandwich on Whole Wheat bread
Dinner: Small Turkey Sub with lettuce, bacon, american cheese, and tomatoes.

For dinner the fam is going to order pizza. and I chose the healthiest thing on the menu that sounded like it would cure my cravings.

Healthy day so far! I even resisted icecream and apple pie!! I am very very happy. Well, here comes dinner!!!

Sorry to hear about having a rough time with the food!!ME 2 I have been on and off so many times I can't count I really bucled down a coule nights ago.

Thank you all for stopping by. I really need some cheering on. Last night I was just so depressed. I couldn't think of a reason why, but Danny just held me, and I cried. I am better today though. My weight is plateauing. I think its because I've been eating so much food. Not junk... but a lot of food still. I need to take it easy. And my exercise has been crappy. I have been trying to get into strength training just a little bit. I mean take 5 minutes of every night to do 25 sit ups, and 25 bench presses. I've only done that 2 times this week though. I don't know why. I have a severe head cold. And All of yesterday I slept. I couldn't get enough sleep.

I want to go see my father tomorrow night, but I hate leaving Danny. I need him to sleep next to me. But I want to see him because Next weekend I am going to new Hampshire. I'll figure it out-whatever I plan on doing.

Tonight I need to finish some homework, and then do my strength training. I need to think of something else to do because Dan has taken over the TV with Halo 3, and it is too dark to take a walk. So cardio is looking harder and harder.

I need to kick my butt into gear a little bit more. ahha.

Tomorrow will go well. I'll make it go well. :)

Hey girl, I'm sorry you've been having a rough time. Colds suck, and it doesn't help. Can't Danny take a break from the Halo 3 so you can get a workout in? Tell him your weight loss is more important..:) Yeah the darkness has been interfering with my walks, too. I used to be able to start my walk at 8pm. Now I have to be finished by then. :(

What have your calories been like lately? I'm the queen of plateaus, so maybe i can help..lol.

My calories lately have been between 1700 and 2000 because I've had a lack of self control. I gord myself with good foods... or foods that aren't good...but not junk either. That will stop tomorrow. Today I'm sick and I am going to eat some Tai Food. I know I shouldn't...but i am going to do some stepping thing, bench press 55lbs, and do my 25 sit ups. Miss Ladybug- I took your idea with adding 5 each week. Except on the bench. My boyfriend told me that a set is 12 lifts. And I was doing 25. He said I should up the weight until I can only do 12, and practice doing more of those. Until that becomes too easy. I'm not sure if he's right, but I'll give it a shot.

Breakfast: orange juice
Lunch: Kai Kaprow
Dinner: I have no idea.

I'm going to my father's house tonight until work tomorrow afternoon. IT sucks... but oh well.

I need to go take a rest to help the sickness.
 
Lots of exercise before work tomorrow! Lately I have been sluggish feeling. I just have NO energy no matter how much sleep I get. Weird? and I'm sorry if you don't feel comfortable reading this (i don't think there will be problems) But my breasts are very sore, and feel heavy lately. And I always have to pee. Even right after I go. I keep getting minor headaches too. Just randomly throughout the day.I don't know what it is.

Tomorrow a.m. I am going on a 2 mile walk (22 minutes I really hope)
Then 30 sit ups, and lifting the 55lbs 24 times.
Then 20 minutes of yoga. That should take care of my 45 minutes!

Weightloss has been a dud lately with how sluggish I have been. ANd today I ate mcdonalds for the first time in a LONG time. BUT food was so bad at dinner tonight, that I had to go out and get something. And my boyfriend wanted to got here because it was closest, and I'm really tired lately. I didn't even really like it. i like my own cooking better. So... yeah. I won't be doing that again.

I think I am going to do my sit ups and weight lifting now. I also want to try some leg lifting thingys.. then I will probably pass out.
 
It sounds like you are still trying hard Brandy. Good on you.

I don't think you should feel guilty about eating 1700 calories anyway. That's probably quite a useful amount for now.

Even though you said you had McD's one night, you should be proud that you even did your exercising that same evening. I think that washes it all out, so don't sweat a bad day. I think your doing great, so keeping on plugging along, your body will thank you for it in a few months, I promise you that!! Have a good rest of your day!

Hey Brandy! I am sorry I haven't stopped by in awhile. I just don't have a lot of time recently! I am sorry to hear you are having a rough time! Your boyfriend is right on the weights but it depends on what you want. Lighter weights + more reps that kick your heart rate up are good for calorie burning. Heavier weights + less reps build your muscle. It all depends on what you want. A mix of both is good- get your heart rate up with lighter weights then do a set of heavier. It will burn cals and build muscle.
Sorry to hear about your soreness and lack of energy. Of course pregnacy pops into mind so you might want to make sure if you aren't sure already. Otherwise look at your diet. It seems like your food isn't junk which is good but maybe your not getting something you need? You could just be tired too. you are a busy girl. Good luck with your dad and I hope you have a good week!

I'm so sorry I haven't been on lately. I've been really busy, and then I went on vacation. I promise I will update on the journals.

And I will update the challenge. I think I already missed this week's challenge (haven't checked it yet) because I don't know what it is and its already Tuesday!

I'm so sorry guys.

Still not feeling the hottest of hott. And I'm gaining a bit of weight!!! My diet has been HORRIBLE!!! I'm doing my best!
