Personally I think it is okay. 2,200 or so is the average amount of calories a person needs per day (dependent on gender, activity level etc). For weight loss one needs to have less than that. It's just a basic input vs. output .. to lose 1 lbs per week you need to eat 300 calories less per day (for example 2,200 - 300 = 1,900 cals). If you want to lose more .. then modify some more but don't go too low.

If say you think you overdid it for today .. then just put some activity at the end of the day. Even if you did a stationary walk in your living room for 10 - 20 minutes .. it'll help burn a few calories off of that.

I do my work out at like 12 to 2 or 3 I do about 30-50 laps a day then play around in the pool then sit in the sauna... but I do more around 50 a day 30 when im tierd lol... So I hope that is enough too

well I will start that tomorrow lol I ate a peace of pizza for lunch today but thank god it had Cal counts LOL...

I'm just hopping by Christmas I can be 250 :)
 
Thats' not alot of calories for your weight. My dietician recommends not going below 1500 (for anyone) especially if your working out alot. A good number for your weight would probably be some where around 1650-1800. Try to estimate how many calories your burning up per day and estimate that into your calories. It is possible to slow down your weight loss process if your not eating enough calories and burning up to many (i've done that before, I was working out alot and not eating enough around 1560 and I wasn't dropping the pounds).

Cant Fit On Rides???HELP

Hey everyone well I started my weight loss 10 weeks ago today and I have lost 32 lbs.... But I'm scared cause in another 10 weeks im going to marienland in n-falls and I will be weighing in at 280 ( but I wanna fit on the rides ) :( I'm scared I don't think I will :( THIS SUCKS anyone every been on rides at around the weight I will be??? HELP
 
In some places it's not so much weight that would keep you off the ride, it's whether the safety harness can close around you... So the answer to youor question would depend on where you carry your weight and how tall you are.

10 weeks is a little bit of time, if you focus and stay with your plan you'll be closer than you are today... Stop stressing over the number so much...
 
well my pant size now is a 26 and my front is a 46 i dont know grrr i know i shouldnt be stressed im just scared wanna have a good time with my boy
 
Going On Rides (Help)

Hey everyone well i'm going to Mairnland this summer with my boy and I was just wondering if anyone has had a bad thing happen well trying to go on a ride being heavy??? see I did at the weight of 250 :( and that was for like one ride at a fair so I'm hopping I wont here cause I will be around 280 if I make it down to that goal by the time I go... I'm 5'3 ya pretty short pant's are a 26 and I'm about a 46 around the top so anyone been on rides well over weight???

Hey there, i have always loved going to amusement parks and going on the rides. heck, my great grandfather built his own amusement park in canandaigua, NY, (it was called Roseland) and it was the family business for over 40 years. I am about 6'3" tall, and when i weighed between 350-370, i still could fit on a lot of rollercoasters. in fact, it was my height that kept me off rides more often. granted, it was not a very comfortable fit, but i could get most safety harnesses latched just enough to be able to ride. for the most part, the minor pain was worth it!
 
309,wanna be 270 by july can I do it?

Hey everyone. Well I'm going to Marineland this summer in July around the 12 and I'm now 309. I would like to be around 270 if I can be by then. I have lost 34 since the day I started and that was around 11 weeks ago and now I wanna lose a bit more then that around 39. This is a pic of me at around 310 last year at marineland last year ( the pants are baggy on me now ) and the other was around 250-270 and I can fit into that dress well the butom never tried the top.... but I can do the butom up... But right now i'm fitting into a 26 pant and I wear like a 3x shirt... My size on top is a 46 DD ... I want it all to go down damn it LOL... but I wanna be able to fit on some of the rides... I hope I can by the time I go in July :( I want it to be a fun trip not a sad one hope I can but do you think im thinking to high to lose that much in such a short time

This week I'm starting a diet that I got from someone and it says you can lose alot of weight in a month I'm kinda scared to try it but I see a doc to talk about my problems with and she is the one that gave it to me and it's just for three days out of the weeks it says I have to eat fish well fish makes me sick so I can't eat it so I'm going to do chicken insted I want to lose about 5 lbs a week :) but I do weight 309 so for someone my size i dont think that's to bad

Hey everyone well I'm around 309 right now I have lost 34 lbs in 11 weeks. I now want to take off around 39 by July 11th and I hope I can do that, Since I'm going to Marineland with my boyfriend for our one year and I want it to be fun I wanna go on rides. But I'm scared I wont fit. Does anyone know anything about weight and going on rides? get back to me thank you
