They do make diet cherry Coke, but I don't like diet soda. It's yucky. *grin* I really just try to avoid soda all-together. Eh.
Yeah a lot of 'Diet' drinks taste like butt. Do you guys get Coke Zero? its some other sweetner, it tastes just like real coke, well not that horrible diet coke crap anyway :/
 
I overslept this morning. CRAAAAAP. So, I didn't work out, but I will after dinner tonight. No excuses. Also didn't meet my water goal yesterday. I'm trying for 64 oz. a day, but I estimate I got 53 yesterday. More than usual, but not as much as I would like. I was also 166.4 pounds AGAIN this morning. That sucks. I sooo want to be in the 150's, but even the lower 160's would be nice. Despite these things, I'm in a stellar mood this morning. Woot!

OK, so I didn't work out last night. I didn't sit my ass on the couch, either, so we'll call it a wash. Got up a little earlier this morning, though, and did 10 minutes of upper-body strength training in addition to 30 minutes of running and walking on the treadmill. Woot! Weighed in this morning at 165, which is awesome, 'cause that's what I weighed before Christmas, which means all of the holiday weight is gone (if the scale doesn't shift back up tomorrow; it's been kind of up and down lately). I'm doing OK with the water drinking...I think I got about 60 oz. yesterday. Kind of feel like I'm floating and I HATE getting up in the middle of the night to pee.

I was so frickin' excited when I stepped on the scale this morning. 163.8!!!! Woot! I've been hovering around 166 (with a low of 165) for at least a month. Stupid holidays. Now that I'm back on track with exercise and diet, the weight starts going down. Funny how that works. *smile* I also met my goal of more than 64 oz. of water yesterday. I think I got around 70.

Got up fairly early this morning (for a Saturday) and my husband and I took a nice walk. It was pretty cool (around 35) but it was sunny and so much better than the treadmill. I love the treadmill, but outside is better.

Holy weightloss, Batman! I weighed 162.6 this morning. :eek: I can hardly believe it. The 150's are just around the corner. Woot! No exercise today, it's my rest day. I just hope the scale doesn't bounce back too much tomorrow.
 
Hello! Just wanted to stop by and tell you that you're doing awesome! I saw your weights posted for the past week and was blow away! So good work and keep it up!
 
I'm pretty blown away, too. It's pretty flukey...I'm usually a slow loser. Fast is nice, though. *smile*
 
I weighed 162.6 again this morning! Woot! I'm so excited. Last time I lost weight I got down to about 157 (and then went back up to 177) so I'm excited to be close to reaching that weight again; it's kind of a milestone for me. Also, all of my smaller pants are starting to fit again. It's like going shopping in my own closet.

Did 30 minutes of running and walking this morning. I've had to expand the number of weeks for the Couch to 5k plan...I couldn't keep up. I'm sure it's fine if you were once in shape, but I've never been, so things are progressing slowly. I'm still happy with how it's going, though.

I'm so excited for you! It's so wonderful to see a new low number on the scale.

How do you like the couch to 5k? I think it would be so cool to be able to run, but running has a huge stigma for me. I can just picture myself running in formation in high school band slipping further and further behind until the percussion section starts running into me.....<shudder>

When you started, what was the longest you could run? How long can you run now?
 
Running also has many painful memories for me. I've mentioned it before, but I've NEVER been able to run a mile before. NEVER. Every year in gym class we did physical fitness testing and every year I was one of "those" kids, who couldn't even complete the mile, over or under the 12 minute pass line. I hated it. HATED IT!! So now, one of my goals is to run a mile, however painfully slow. My next goal after that is to be able to run a 10 minute mile. I'm pretty far away from both goals. When I started, I could run 1 minute before wanting to die. Now I can run 3 minutes. *smile* As long as I keep progressing, I'm happy.

Anyway, the couch to 5K program is a bit fast for me. Even with my slower version I am pushing myself, and I really don't want to throw up next to the treadmill in my basement (*laugh*) and I definitely don't want to get injured. So I'll keep plodding along like the turtle in my siggy. He did win the race, after all.
 
Walked for 30 minutes on the treadmill this morning, plus did some strength training. My arms feel like floppy wet noodles. :D Weighed 162.6 again.

Weight was back down to 162.6 this morning. Yay. I skipped the exercise today. I probably should have skipped yesterday instead. I am sooo sore from Tuesday's workout. I was sore yesterday, but decided to work out anyway. I think it just made things worse. If I am still this sore tomorrow, I may take a slow walk or skip entirely. I need to heal. Stupid strength training. Stupid squats. *laugh* Stupid me for overdoing things.
