I'm sorry Kimberly. That is terrible about your manager... What a fcuker! I would have lost a lot of respect for him too, espcially since he was aware of the backstory and everything... Would maybe working in the same field, different enviornment be a possibility? I might be completely talking like an idiot because I have no idea about how your job works and such... Just trying to offer some sort of input, lol...

On another note, sounds like the condo is coming along quite nicely

For some reason I have this feeling your going to have a boy... It's just a feeling and I might be completely off but I get a baby boy vibe from you. Maybe because I was surrounded by baby boys for so long from all my friends.

Those Austin Powers movies are hilarious. I love the scenes where they are doing something innocent, but the shadow view of it makes it look totally nasty..lol

I think my trouble re the weight is not exercising enough. My exercise bike got moved to the shed outside, so I haven't been able to get on it (thanks to my dad). So my only options are walking (which is hard to do when it gets dark so early and the whole rapist crap) and my gym, which has been hard to get to more than 3 days per week--and after 30-40min there, I'm just pooped..lol. I really miss my exercise bike. I'd go for a walk today, but it's raining. I need more cardio.

I'm over my boss screwing me over. Now I'm wondering how we're going to pay the bills without running through all our savings. H's salary won't cover all our bills/expenses, so I do need to find something else to replace the RE. I just haven't a clue what I can do that won't require me to find a babysitter (as that would take up all the $$ I'd earn at the job). I was figuring it out this morning (couldn't sleep) and I need to take home $12K a year to be able to sleep at night..lol. If only the stock market wasn't so crazy. I really hope it stabilizes soon so we can invest some of our money. I would not be able to sleep at night if we lost a lot in the short term, so I'm not putting any in until it stops fluctuating so damn much.

My birth daughter will be turning 18 next year in Feb. I want to have a letter waiting for her at the agency which just happens to be in the town that you live in. Which is also the town she lives in.
Just in case she ever wants to meet me. This way the info is there for her if she is ever interested. And I want to hand deliver it to know that it got there.
But for sure we can get together in Shipshe. I loooooove the Blue Gate fer shure!
As long as I get to vote as well we can get together any time.

Putting money in the stock market right now is tough... definitely not for everyone. We've been getting a lot of people to invest right now but it's all long term money. Even then, it's not for everyone.

You don't want to wait too long though, which I'm sure you know. Waiting out the volatility is understandable but nobody knows when it will smooth out until after the fact. And after the fact could be after a substantial uptick in the market.

But it's all about individual tolerances to risk and short term fluctuation.

I hear ya re: walking... Now that the time changes Sunday, it will have to be accomplished for me now early morning/afternoon for me now and that's only if I don't have a shift to get to.
I will not walk after dark 'round here bc we have had 2 women robbed at gun point on our property within the past 6 months. Now that the holiday's are on the way, it may get worse..Especially with the economy in the shape it's in!

RE: Work - Just for a possible temp. job so y'all can have an extra income and get on yer feet; Have you thought about working at a daycare? I know around here, childcare is FREE as long as you are an employee.

Also, a 'Nanny position' allows you to take your child/children with you as well.

If I can find a family, that's what I'm going to switch to instead of senior care.
I love what I'm doing, but the client's I keep getting are too much 'companionship' which = sitting on my butt talking the whole time.
That is not me.. I have to be busy and moving around.

Dawn--That is not boring at all. I think it's exciting that your birth daughter might make some inquiries into you. That would be great if you got to meet. If you already have to come to GR, we might as well meet up for sure. There are plenty of places to eat at here...lol.

Gas was $2.34 here today--of course I filled up yesterday for $2.47. Remember that typo I made a few weeks ago that I got gas for $2.14 instead of $3.14? Well, it looks like that isn't so far fetched after all.

Steve--If I move in with ya does that mean you'll also babysit for free??

My manager has been really nice to me. I think he feels a bit bad about the whole thing. I am acting like nothing's happened, but he'll find out soon enough that I haven't forgotten.

The market's done pretty well lately. I'm gonna hold off until after the election next week and see if it still seems to be doing ok.

Stacy--I have never heard of any nanny jobs where they let you bring your kids to their home. I've actually looked into that in the past, but most jobs are live in so that doesn't work well when you have a husband and child..lol. I also don't think I like watching other people's kids enough to do that..lol. I thought about doing an in-home daycare in my house like my mom did when I was growing up. But they are so strict these days that I don't think I could be bothered. Last I heard, you can't have pets in the kitchen. So that there would rule me out. And the daycare centers around here pay crapola. I don't have the patience for that job either..lmao. But you would be much much better at it.

I still like the hooker-for-men-with-pregnant-women-fetishes at your gran's cathouse and drug dealing ideas better.

Ultrasound, ultrasound!!! How'd it go?

It went well. The baby weighs 11oz and has a good, strong heartbeat. S/he was curled up in a little ball so it was hard for the tech to get a good look at some areas. The tech said baby is very active as well. I am pretty sure I felt the baby moving today. Very exciting! Here are baby's first pics.

Kinda cool, we're sort of in different walks of life here. I look forward to the days when my daughter comes home to visit, you're looking forward to the day that your child comes home for the first time...
