BikiniBound's Diary

DAWN! So that's your name! I didn't you you had a birth daughter with a family, how cool to possibly meet her, I hope she's open to it! That would be beautiful :)

Kimberly: There are pleny of men who would pay money to pamper a pregnant beauty like yourself with no sex involved! Maybe I could hustle a couple and send em your way :sifone:

The 2nd baby picture looks like the baby is facing us, giving a smile. Then again, I have a hard time discerning those types of pics :)

Karl--We're definitely in different stages re kids..lol. I'll have a good weekend if Michigan beats Purdue..lol. So I'll probably have a bad weekend. :smilielol5:

Dawn--I think the 3D/4D is really cool, too. As we discussed on the phone, Tuesday works well.

Val--According to the ultrasound tech, the baby IS smiling in that one. :D And if you know men who would pay ME to pamper ME, why, you send 'em right over. :smilielol5:

~Hijacking Kimberly's diary for a moment~
I really hope that she wants to meet me someday too. But if not, I am cool with that. Since the whole idea of putting her up for adoption was so she could have a better life than what I could give her at the time of her birth.
I would never ever want to jeopardize the relationship that she has with her parents.

Well, guess you had a good weekend then???... and how about those amazing Lions!!! Typical shoot yourself in the foot stuff! ARGGGG! I am seriously considering going to games wearing a paper bag on my head!!! Well, at least we are the best at something... Losing! Every other team now has a win. I hope we go 0-16!! Maybe they will spend some money for a real team as they do with the Wings, Tigers (now), Pistons...

My mom put me up for adoption the day I was born. She cried all night and changed her mind, and picked me up the next day, otherwise I'd be in WA state (where I was born) or WHO KNOWS. It never bothered me, I'm glad mom chose to raise me as a single mom because I have such great grand parents on both sides, but I'm sure I would have had a good life with my almost adoptive parents, too. Actually I can't even speculate really, I have no idea. I WANTED to go out and find the lady who was supposed to adopt me and tell her I'm all good and went to University, and happy and have a job, etc., but I dunno where to look.

Ummm...did you see the outcome of the Mich game?? They blew it in the last minutes of the 4th Q--no big surprise. Usually it's the offense that lets them down. Saturday it was the lack of defense. :banghead: Oh, and they can thank Purdue for getting tons of penalties that helped them score--especially in one drive where they had 3 4th downs and converted all of them to score--2 of them thanks to Purdue getting penalized twice for pass interference.

The LIons?? Well, I watched that whole game (first one all season) and I just knew they were gonna blow it at the end--and they did. :smilielol5: I also hope they go 0-16 so they get a good draft pick they can blow like always. I watched the game with my cousin and his BIL and they were saying how Florida QBs never amount to much in the NFL. I said, "you even think that about Tim Tebow?" They replied, "Oh yeah, Tebow won't have a good NFL career. You watch, and the Lions'll be stupid enough to draft his ass." :smilielol5:

At least Mich St. won their nail biter. :)

Well, David and I went out Saturday and bought living room and dining room furniture. It's being delivered on Friday (as long as we're ready for it)--so we'd better be ready for it..lmao. The flooring in the kitchen/living/dining area is about half done, and David's friend who's helping him lay it said they'd be done with that by tonight. We shall see! :toetap:

Got an electrician coming out tonight to give me a quote.

Here's the latest in my weight/excercise tracking:
10/13—weight: 223.5
10/14—weight: 223, 40 min circuit training, painting
10/15—weight: 224.5

10/17—weight: 222, 25 min circuit training
10/18—weight: 223, 48 min walk, 3 miles
10/19—weight: 224, painting

10/20—weight: 224.5, 30 min circuit training
10/21—weight: 224.5, painting
10/22—weight: 224.5, painting
10/23—weight: 224, 30 min circuit training, cleaning
10/24—weight: 226, 30 min circuit training, painting
10/25—weight: 225.5
10/26—weight: 226, 32 min 2 mile walk

10/27—weight: 226.5, 45 min circuit training
10/28—weight: 226, 40 min circuit training
10/29—weight: 226.5, 30 min circuit training
10/30—weight: 225
10/31—weight: 225.5, 43 min 2.5 mile walk
11/1—weight: 228, 52 min 3 mile walk
11/2—weight: 225.5
Total: 3.5hrs, 5.5 miles walked

As you can see, I've gained 3lbs in the last 3 weeks. :banghead: And the OB said I should only gain between 10-15lbs during my whole pregnancy. :banghead::banghead::banghead: I've already gained 7lbs, so I'm halfway to the highest number and only halfway through my pregnancy. :banghead::banghead::banghead: At least I got in some decent exercise this past week.

Sarcasm is hard to pull off via text!! I saw that garbage!!! Both of THOSE games were... as you said...almost expected. 0-16 Baby!!! 0-16. I'm not too sure about Tebow though. He throws and runs very well. It is though a HUGE jump from college to the pros. Are there any Heisman trophy winners contributing to there respected teams??? And as you said.. at least Michigan St. won. I really don't want to, but I'm almost forced to root for Penn State just to have a Big Ten presence in the National Title Game. What a crazy year!!

Glad you did! Don't worry too much--if you're able to continue getting decent exercise, ya probably won't gain much more :)

Damn rapist! :cuss:

Hi Kimberly! :)

Long time no see. I wasn't even aware you are pregnant. Congratulation to you and it's great to see that you're still getting in exercise. Is this your first child? You'll be a wonderful mother.

Shannon

Well, my darling, even if your favorite football teams didn't do what you wanted them to, you won the big prize last night. Your man definitely finished off that election... no hanging chads involved.

TEXAS AINT ALL RED! :sifone:

You should hear it 'round here..! Horns honking and people cheering!

I'm still tryin' to control my tears.

What an awesome night!!!

Yes We Can!

Luv Ya!

:hug2:

  PRESIDENT-ELECT BARACK OBAMA!!!!!!!!

I knew yesterday as I was voting that it was the most important vote I'd ever cast. Definitely an historic election and a critically important one.

It was fantastic waking up this morning knowing that there was HOPE for this country. :patriot:

JZ--It is my hope that Penn St will make the Big 10 proud in their NC game should they make it--unlike a certain other Big 10 team who's blown it twice in a row. *cough* Ohio St. *cough* :D

Val--Well, Dawn and I walked for a good hour yesterday and the scale was up 1.5lbs today!! :cuss: Perhaps it was stuffing myself with Indian food right before the walk that caused it. :blush5:

Shannon--Thanks for stopping by. It's been awhile since I've seen you around. Yup, it's my first baby at the ripe old age of 36..lol. Thanks for the kind words. :)

Karl--It sure was nice to see my man win. After watching Gore and Kerry lose in close contests, it was nice to have Obama win easily. He won 9 states that Bush took in 2004--some that hadn't gone to a Democrat since Lyndon Johnson in 1964. The added seats in the House and Senate are also encouraging. I really hope Obama is able to get the country back on track.

Stacy--Nope, Texas sure isn't all red. Over 3.5million Texans voted for Obama--including you. :) I had a dream last night that I met you...lol.

The "other Big Ten team" might as well be horrible too! All "my" favorite teams are gawd aweful, with the exception of the Wings. Well, maybe I'm being to harsh on my Tigers, Cubs (in the NL), OSU, and Lions... No, definately NOT the Lions! :) Really, they are all decent teams that cave under pressure.. again, excluding the Lions. :) They are hopeless.

It's true our teams have a tendancy to choke in the big games. My gran is also a Tigers/Cubs fan so she feels your pain..lol.

Your gran sounds like a wise woman!

I'm gonna throw this out as well... If there is ever a Tigers/Cubs world series... I'm going to all the games!!! Plus, I'm so sure it will never happen, I'll add that I'll have a suite for each game and bring twenty of my friends with me!!! :D

Not that I care much about baseball, but sadly, you're right about the Cubs/Tigers WS..lmao.
