BikiniBound's Diary

Congrats on your work lately. So you had one off day with eating, the rest of that week looks fabulous! And about the magazine, hopefully you grabbed some new things to try at home.. what's the good in porn if you don't learn anything new?

Your hard work lately is impressive! A nice walk after a big meal can help a lot. I try to do that too.

Hope your Monday is stupendous!!!

-Sam

Just dropping by to say "Hello" and thank you for the inspiration you gave me to participate in my local Relay for Life.

It was this weekend, and I walked from @9pm Sat til 6am Sun . . and I have the blisters to prove it! My team, comprised mostly of siblings, helped to raise over $600 for the American Cancer Society. During the luminaria ceremony, tears were shed but gave us resolve to see this thru.

Hey Everyone! I'm still alive..lol.

Claudia, Dawn, Alta and Margaret--Refeeds are good if you haven't had one in awhile. Unfortunately, I've been "refeeding" (to put it politely) pretty much since before Christmas..:blush5:

MJB--Thanks for the invite, but I've got too many other travel plans for this year already. No way I can make it to Vegas. :(

Radiant Pebble--There were only a few loose pages of a mag--and what I saw wasn't all that new. :D

Amber--If I had an official weigh in on Mondays, I'd be in big trouble. :angelsad2: Kudos to you.

Sam--The after-dinner walk was good for both of us--I think it aids digestion or something. :D

Yarmiah--Glad you had a successful time at the relay. Yours was indoors? Ours are always outside--so we are at the mercy of the weather...lol

Well, kinda had a rotten Monday. A rather expensive listing I had, that got an offer on it (we were in the process of countering) is a lost cause..lol. The sellers were moving to Alabama to be near their son. Well, the son called over the weekend to tell them he'd quit his job and was moving back to Mich to be with his gf. :ack2: So, if the stupid buyers had accepted our initial counter, the sellers would've been locked in to the sale and would've completed it (and I probably would've gotten a 2nd commission on the house they would've bought here). Now they've taken the house off the market completely. So there goes about $4,500 in commission (just from their current house). That totally sucks ass, b/c I was gonna extend our trip to England with that money. Now, I'm kinda scared about spending the extra $$ to do it--although H still wants to spend an extra week despite it. So I dunno what's gonna happen with that. The good thing is that they are happy with the job I did for them, and took a bunch of my biz cards and will recommend me to their friends and family if any of them need to buy/sell. :)

Weight went up 2lbs (to 219) from my Sunday pigout, and is down to 218.5 today. I suspect it will be back to 217 or close to it by tomorrow. However, I'm meeting up with Bellaryna tomorrow and we will probably pig out on yummy Amish food. Maybe I'll behave myself after all..lmao. That's funny.

I looked at a couple of houses for us today. At one of them I was greeted outside by a very friendly black cat who was a deadringer for the cat I lost in August (I still cry about that cat). The cat followed me all over the yard, rubbing against my legs and purring. Of course I petted him like crazy, and he ate it up..lol. I was half inclined to bring him home with me, as I suspect he's a stray. The house is vacant, and I wonder if the previous owners just left him. The house needs a lot of work, but it has potential. And if the cat comes with it--I'm sold. :D The house is in foreclosure, and the bank could take it back at any time since the owners have moved out. So I'm not sure if I should just wait, as I'd hate to get into the process of buying it only to have the bank screw me over at the last minute. In the meantime, I'm gonna take H to look at it, and maybe bring the cat back with me. :D I think he has ear mites, poor thing. :(

Hi Kimberly

I am sorry to hear that you have lost out on that commission. That is rotten as you will have done tons of work to find the buyers that you had etc. I am sure that you will have tried to turn it by telling the sellers that they have done all the hard work by getting the house de-cluttered and spruced up and have mentally moved out. Therefore it is the perfect opportunity to find a house which doesnt have the problems which niggle them about the house. No house is ever perfect and they are bound to dislike something about living there. Alternatively find out where the son lives and arrange for him to be sent info on lots of jobs far away. If he has left the girlfriend once - he can do so again.

I'm pleased to see that your weight is coming down. That's great.

I hope that you and Dawn have a great day out. Remember to tell me all about it. I am sure that you will find some yummy food and I definitely want to hear all about that too.

I dont know how you could ascertain whether the cat has an owner or not. Maybe if you had an old cat collar you could pop it around its neck with a note to ask if there was an owner as you were concerned about the cat.

If there was no owner - you could always take him home and see how the other cats reacted. They were happy with your last cat being part of the family - they may accept a new cat in their community. If it didnt work out you could always see if anyone wanted a cat or as a last resort report it.

Do you remember that I told you that we rented out our house while we were living in Thatcham. It took about 6 months to get the very bad tennants evicted. Anyway - after they were evicted - the letting agent went around the house to check the situation. When he opened the door of the wardrobe in my bedroom a cat jumped out. The tennant had shut her cat into the wardrobe - despite knowing that no-one would be moving in immediately (she had left the house in a terrible state). If no-one had checked the poor animal would have starved to death in my wardrobe. I know that my neighbours made sure that it didnt starve for a week or so but did not want a cat. In the end they phoned the RSPCA about it. I hope that the cat got a good home. I was reminded of it when you said that maybe the previous owners had just left this one behind.

Take care
Love
Margaret

Oh I think that is too big of a coincidence about the kitty kat. How old is he? Not 10 months perhaps? Your other kitties'll get used to him, poor thing!

That's cool that you finally found a house that could be suitable for you and H.

Have fun with Bellaryna, yall need to just keep each other good and accountable at your lunch, despite any yummy food. OK, a few treats but no pigging out when meeting with a WLF buddy!!

Yea, this!

That cat would have been in my car... especially if he looked a little 'run down.' I hope he ends up with you.

Sorry about the commission... that does suck.

there seems to be an epidemic of broken caps locks keys around here :)

That little green light near the caps lock key -it's generally supposed to be off :)

Steve, Cita and Margaret--While the cat was by no means fat, he was not too thin, either. If he looked starved, I would've taken him in a hardbeat. I didn't want to steal someone's cat. I am planning on taking H through the house in the next few days. If kitty is still hanging around, I might take him home. I will definitely bring some cat food with me. :) He is fully grown, but doesn't look more than a year or two old.

Margaret--I won 't be doing anything as devious as you suggested re the sellers and their son...lmao. I did explain that there would be no monetary benefits to remaining in the house. They know that, but don't want to do anything until they know what's going to happen in the next few months. Apparently their son is going to move in with them and go back to school. They did say that they would list the house with me again when they are ready.

That is really terrible that woman would leave that poor cat locked in the wardrobe. Thankfully it was found sooner rather than later. I would have tracked that tenant down and pressed charges for animal cruelty. That shit pisses me off!! :cuss:

Mal--I have no idea what got into me with that post. Must've been a computer malfunction. I blame Alta. :D

Well, the eating was over the top today, and nearly all of those 3,000+ calories were consumed at lunch!! :svengo: I think I estimated on the high end, though, so it might not be so bad. hahaha who am I kidding? :blush5:

Just for Margaret's drooling pleasure, I will list was was eaten.

1 fried chicken breast, drumstick, and thigh
homemade noodles with chicken
green beans
dinner salad w/ fat free ranch dressing (what was the point in that??)
stuffing
mashed potatoes and gravy
2 slices of homemade bread with Amish peanut butter
1 huge slice of chocolate/peanut butter pie

It was really good. Once we'd eaten, we went and walked around the flea market and I spent a ton of $$. :D It was good to do all that walking after all that eating. :blush5: I know I had a good time. I hope Dawn did, too. :) And in honor of TLD today, we made out before we parted.

I have no idea what my weight will be tomorrow. Today it was down to 217 again.

There were lots of Amish buggies outside one of the stores we went to. I thought it would make a cool pic--and took it with my phone.
