BikiniBound's Diary

Exercise/Weight/Food this week:
4/28—35min circuit training, 30 min bike, 10.42 miles, weight: 221.5, cals: 1542
4/29—65 min walk, 4 miles, weight: 220.5, calories: 1,566

Another good day of eating and exercise. :hurray:

Lemon--Hey now! Old Lady, my ass. :D

Margaret--The weight went down a bit today--220.5, so 1lb less than yesterday. I expect it to be down again tomorrow after having such a good day today as well.

The ankle was much better today. I walked 4 miles with no pain. I actually did those ankle exercises you mentioned. I remembered how well they worked for you, and started doing them a couple of days ago when my ankle first started hurting.

Brandy--H and I have been making each other happy. ;)

Sam--Thanks for the sweet words. :blush5: You're a gem yourself. I think it's high time I invited you to join my harem here. I haven't added any men in ages. It's time for another Harem Hottie. :D

Carrie--Thanks, dear. Honestly, I've been doing this for so long now, it's 2nd nature. I feel weird if I don't exercise for a day. The eating is where I have far more struggles. :ack2: If you keep at this, it WILL get easier--I promise. :)

Well, I really am patting myself on the back b/c I ate out for breakfast and lunch today, and that damn building inspector's wife dropped off more peanut butter chip cookies this afternoon. I managed to limit my cookie consumption to 2. All this and I kept my calories under 1600. :hurray:

And, the Pistons beat the 76ers by 17pts tonight, and the Red Wings are up 4-2 in the 2nd against the Avalanche. :hurray: I hate the bloody Avalanche!! :cuss:

I had an interesting afternoon today. Our secretary is usually quite nice, but she often goes off on us for no good reason. Her tone is really what pisses me off. Normally I just let her rudeness slide, b/c I know she is stressed these days, and doesn't really realize how she comes across. Today, however, she pissed me off one too many times, and I let her know it in a calm manner. She then gave me a blast, so I let loose on her and let her know that I'm sick of putting up with her b.s., and I was sick of tip toeing around her for fear of upsetting her delicate sensitivity while she regularly was rude and condescending towards me and other agents. We were the only 2 people in the office when it happened, and it got pretty ugly, let me tell ya. But it feels good to get it off my chest--even though she'll probably hold it against me for the next 3 years. I don't give a shit. The thing that really pisses me off is that last week was Admin. professionals day and I initiated and took up a collection to get her a gift card for a local store that is like a SuperTarget but also has gas stations. Her hours were recently cut, and she's had a rough time of it lately, so I knew she could use the card. We ended up giving her a giftcard for $135, and this is how she treats me!! I don't expect her to grovel at my feet in gratitude, but I would expect to not have my head bitten off for the slightest offense. I am sick of kissing her ass. She is one of those who tends to make massive mountains out of mole hills.

Hi Kimberly

Well done for giving the secretary / office administrator something to think about. Sometimes people need to be put back in their box. She might have a long memory - but you have one too. She can wait forever before you organise something for her benefit again if she wants to play at that game. Frankly - I dont subscribe to this administrators day thing - all she does is do her job. I worked for decades and no-one ever gave me a present for just coming in to work and doing my job. I wouldnt have been too keen on giving in so that other folk could have a present for doing the same. Maybe it is a culture thing - do you get presents for doing your job? In England I dont believe that there has ever been a computer programmers day or IT professional day.

Well done for bringing your weight down and behaving so well again. I suspect that mine will be up today.

Great minds think alike regarding the ankle exercises. I am pleased that they clearly sorted out the problem. I will have to start doing those little exercises again. I have just got out of the swing of doing some things recently.

Take care
Love
Margaret

I would have told her off too! People like that should be put in padded rooms so they don't have to put a downer on anyone else's day but their own!!

Hey Kimberly,

We have the same type of secretary here at our work. I don't think her brain works in the same way most peoples' do... Me and her have almost gone head to head a couple of times, and the girl I work with has definitely gotten into it with her before. She gets really snappy with people and it usually comes out of nowhere. I don't really let it bother me anymore just because almost everyone who works here knows how she is and just laughs about it behind her back... Wadaya do? She's usually pretty decent towards me because she knows I will jump her shit pretty quick if she starts to get "weird" with me...

I would be honored to be invited to be in you harem :)

I have had the hardest time getting pages to load on here tonight. It's like I have dial up. But it's only this site that's acting up.

Margaret and Sam--It's good to know I'm not the only one who has to deal with people like that...lol. She will do us favors if we ask nicely--or sometimes on her own. She really is decent most of the time, but if she's in a bad mood, or we say or do something (whether in ignorance or not) that sets her off, or if she disagrees with us in any way, she goes off on us. I think she too often over steps her boundaries and talks to us like we're 3yr olds. Anyway, I had to go into the office a couple times today, and I just ignored her. :D

And yes, I do sometimes get gifts for doing my job. :D There is no national Realtors day...lol, but service providers I work with sometimes give me gifts to thank me for using them. My husband also gets gifts from his students at Christmastime and at the end of the school year. So some professions do get gifts, and let's face it--secretaries often work very hard for very little. I can assure you our secretary doesn't get paid that well--especially now that her hours are cut. I'm not defending her behavior yesterday, but I don't regret starting that collection.

Ok, Sam--you are now an official Harem Hottie. :D

MJB--Thanks for stopping by. The exercise has slowed down this week..lol.

I had a crazy day today that didn't go too much as planned...lol It started by me having to get up somewhat early to take my mom to her doctor's appt. We were there for over an hour, and I made an appt for a physical in June, and also tried to get in while my mom was there to see about my eyes and my sore throat. I couldn't get in until late afternoon. After dropping Mom off at home, I had to go into the office briefly, and then I went to look at 4 houses for H and I. (There is one with potential). While doing this, I was on the phone trying to get sale #2 closed..lol. That is scheduled for Monday now. Then it was time to go back to the doc's for my appt, where I was diagnosed with pink eye (as Bella had suspected). So now I have these eyedrops that require 2 drops in each eye every 2 hrs. :ack2: I cannot tell you how much I hate putting eyedrops in. It freaks me out..lol. I am such a baby! If I ever need glasses, I'll never get contacts, b/c putting them in and taking them out would seriously unnerve me...lmao. I think my H thinks I'm a weirdo, the way I was freaking out the first time I put them in. He uses eyedrops (like Visine) all the time and thinks nothing of it, so it's kind of weird for him to see me being such a dropkick about it. :p She also did a step swab for my throat to make sure I don't have strep. She said she'd call if it was positive.

Then I had to go back to the office to meet a client to have her sign something. Despite us making the appt on the phone 2hrs earlier, and emailing her about it 10min before she was due to leave, she forgot about it!! And remembered and came back--45 min late. I was just about to go home when she came in. Then I had to go get my prescription filled on the way home--and while I was waiting, I bought some cream cheese danishes and a king size reeses pb cup! But, all I'd eaten at that point was a banana in the morning, so I was starving, and I thought, who cares--It's after 6pm and I've only had 100cals. I think I can afford it. :p My total calories ended up being 1,733. I was pooped by the time I got home--so much running around, plus my sore throat and goopy eyes. The last thing I felt like doing was exercising, but I went out for a 2 mile walk instead of 4 like I'd planned.

Weight was 219.5 today--down another lb from yesterday.

Now I'm gonna hit the hay. I'm sorry I didn't get to anyone's diaries today, but with the sloooooooowness of the website, It took me about an hour just to get here!! Hopefully I'll manage tomorrow. I think my day will be far less busy.

Sorry about the internet problems. I hope it gets sorted out for you.

I am really pleased that you got to see the quack because now your eyes will probably start to get better. Life is tough enough without dealing with things that can be easily rectified. It really is great that you have health insurance and can go to the quack without the same financial concerns.

I would not be too keen on eyedrops - and would get Rod to put them into my eyes for me. I think that you should get your hubby to help you with them. I wore contact lenses for a while in my early twenties. They were very fiddly and when I tried hard contact lenses I kept cutting up my eyes with them (corneal abrasions was the correct term). It got to be a real pain. In the end I had soft lenses and they worked better - but I didnt have a lot of confidence with them after previous problems and stopped wearing them. I built up my time to be able to wear them again just before we got married - but have to admit that the last time I ever wore contact lenses was the day that I married. I put them in the rubbish shortly after and havent considered contact lenses since.

It is great that you have found another house with potential for your investment. I hope that this one works out for you.

Well done for bringing your weight down, for keeping your calories at a reasonable level and for getting some exercise in. Sleep well and have a more civilised day on Thursday.

Take care
Love
Margaret

Woah, that is some dedication to get out for a walk after all that! Good job Kimberley, and glad to see the weight coming down again on its way back to your new low of 217.5 and BEYOND!

Sorry to read that you've been hit with old pink eye. I hope that clears up for ya. I bet you could wear contacts if you wanted to. I was the same way and thought I could never stick something in my eye like that but I've been wearing them for about 20 years now. At least you can see without any help! I'm blind has a bat:biggrinjester:
Hope Scalentino treats you right this week!

Awwww sugar puss.... I think you have the same thing I had. I've had the same fackin sore throat for the past week and it hasn't gotten any better. I thought I had pink eye, but according to the doc here, it's just allergies. He gave me meds for the allergies but nothing for my throat. If it doesn't get better soon, I'll go in and have them do a strep culture which is going to suck. BLAH. I hate having foreign objects shoved down my throat. :p I love you. LMAO!!!

Anyways... I noticed you had a new low of 217, my incredible shrinking hottie. So.. ummm... did I miss the porn? Ooops.. I mean the pix. ;) I'll have to give you a call soon, lovely. Have missed you dearly!

-Sheryl

Sorry to hear about your diagnosis from the doc Kimberly. Eye infections suck! I thought I had pink eye a few months ago but it was actually a small piece of fiberglass that was irritating my eye... I also seem to catch strep throat or something similar to strep throat about every four or five months... I hate sore throats more than anything.

Yay!!!! Im offically a harem hottie! :D Is there any standard initiation I need to think about? I could have one of my girlfriends soap up my moobs next Weds? Just a thought :sifone:

Have a great day,
Sam

I suspect that you have to go by the name Samantha on Wednesdays!

LMBO!!!! You better be careful giving Kimberly carte blanche to what kind of an initiation she would like! :smilielol5:

Ack, Kimberly,
So sorry to hear about your sorethroat and eye infection, that SUCKS! I haven't been feeling well either, THANK GOD it's almost friday!!!! Try to take it easy this weekend, sounds like you need it!!!! Congrats on your fabulous loss too!

I just want to say that I love you ALL!! :beating: *blows kisses* It's such a nice end to my day to come in here and see all your kind posts. :hug2:

Margaret--The internet seems to be working much better now. :hurray:

My sore throat is nearly gone, and those eye drops worked wonders. I woke up today for the first time in nearly a week without my eyes all matted shut. And, I'm getting more used to the eyedrops. I tried to get H to put them in last night, but that freaked me out even more..lol. Plus, as I have to do it every 2hrs, he's usually not around to do it. I'm managing just fine on my own--it's so bad anymore. :)

Claudia--If it wasn't for the challenge, there's no way I would've exercised last night. :D My weight was 219.5 again today.

Brandy--Thanks for stopping by. I have to find out some more info on that house, and take H through on Sat. We'll see....

Paul--Regardless of what you and Margaret say about contacts, I don't think I could. :D Anyway, glasses would make me look smarter...haha And hopefully by the time I need them, I'll be too old to care about how they make me look. If you're blind as a bat, I'll send ya naked pics of me if you promise not to look at them unless your contacts are OUT....lmao

Sheryl--Surely the pervy gods have smiled upon me today since you've posted. I had 2 foreign objects shoved down my throat yesterday. :D They were both strep culture swabs... I hope you feel better soon, my little sugar snatch. I'd love it if you called me. :)

Sam--aka Latest Harem Hottie. :D Strep sucks. Usually when you get it that often, they remove your tonsils. Have you thought about that? You get to eat all the ice cream you want. :D

I'm sure you'll have no trouble finding someone to soap up your moobs on Wednesdays. :sifone: LOL@Margaret's suggestion of going by Samantha on Weds. There is no standard initiation, except maybe sending me a video of you dancing in a g-string. ;)

Bella--You are so right! That was very brave (or naive) of him. :D I'm waiting for my video.

Carrie--Thanks for the well wishes! Sorry to hear you're under the weather, too. I'm feeling a lot better today, I hope you do soon, too. :hug2:

Exercise this week:
4/28—35min circuit training, 30 min bike, 10.42 miles, weight: 221.5, cals: 1542
4/29—65 min walk, 4 miles, weight: 220.5, calories: 1,566
4/30—34 min walk, 2 miles, weight: 219.5, calories: 1,597
5/1—1hr 11min stationary bike, 24 miles, weight: 219.5, calories: 2,239

Had a less busy day today. I ate a lot, though. :ack2: However, I had quite a workout that supposedly burned about 1300 calories, so I'm hoping that'll make up for my eating. I watched Jeopardy and Survivor while riding my bike. I got the final Jeopardy question right, and was pleased at the exciting ending on Survivor. I was kinda sorry to see James go, though. I enjoy drooling over his hot bod. :drool5:

Today was the final day of the challenge, and tomorrow is my last chance to get a better loss for the weigh in. I would be so thrilled if the Omega-3 pulled off the win. :D

Oh, and double great news tonight: The Pistons and the Red Wings advanced to the next round of their respective playoffs. They both kicked some serious ass in their games tonight--winning by huge margins. :reddevil:

I can't belive I forgot to mention this earlier--tonight while I was on my bike, my mom asked me about using it herself. I told her to have at it. She was worried it would hurt her knees. I told her she would do well at my gym, and proceeded to explain why. I think she is going to go with me tomorrow to try it out!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :svengo:

Oh, I really hope she does, and sticks with it. That would be sooo wonderful if she started losing weight. She is at a VERY unhealthy weight these days--5'3" and about 400lbs. Our doc told her the other day she should get a membership at the Y. My place is cheaper and better suited to her current needs.

Please keep your fingers crossed that she does it!
