BikiniBound's Diary

Maybe its a blessing in disguise that the ice cream experiment didnt work out too well. Even low cal ice cream can not exactly help weightloss if you enjoy it so much you want to eat it all the time.

Well done for going out on a 4 mile walk. Keep a note of the times for the challenge exercise.

Hope that the house viewing goes great.

I was doing pretty well until I went to the bar last night...lol. They had the sushi that I like at the supermarket last night, so I broke down and bought some. I ate it when I got home. It was really good! Yum! I prefer the slices of raw fish on the balls of rice over the rolls.

You would prefer the balls wouldn't you? Of all the things you could have eaten sushi is a pretty darn healthy choice. I love it too...sushi mean...not that balls are bad either! Definitely going to hell, ain't I?

Congrats on the weigh-in!

The ice cream has 120 calories per 1/2 cup, so it's not too bad if I just eat one half cup...lol. It kind of has a bit of an after taste, as it's sweetened with Splenda, so it's certainly not something I'll make a regular habit of eating. :)

The house viewing went well. H liked it. I did discover that the boiler (it's heated with radiators) is 28yrs old! So, it'll probably need replacing soon, and I wanted to put in central air. That will be hard to do, as there are no existing ducts. So, I have to find out how much it would cost to put in a forced air furnace and ducts and central air as opposed to just replacing the boiler and putting in some other form of air conditioning--yes, you wouldn't think we'd need it in Michigan, but it gets hot in the summer. Just go back and read my whining about the heat in my diary last summer. :D Anyway, now I'm gonna lower our offer to $80k including the sellers paying $2400 of our closing costs. I wonder how that'll fly. :D

After looking at the house, we went to the Olive Garden for dinner. I ate 3 breadsticks, tons of salad, and about half of my entree--Asiago Steak Tortellini. It was yummy. My calories for the day were under 2,000. :svengo:

Lemon--Yes, I like fishy balls b/c I'm bisexual. :smilielol5: I'll see you in hell! :smilielol5:

Not a great day, but not terrible either. From now on, I have to be good..lol. Actually, if you look at my calories for last Fri and Sat, they were 6,179 combined, which is 2,025 calories more than this Fri and Sat...lol. I'm trying to make myself feel better. :D I also have done 95min of exercise in the last two days, wheras I didn't do any exercise last Fri and Sat. :D

Priti--I forgot to respond to Brooke White..lol. She just doesn't do anything for me. She's so whitebread..lol. I am not into pop music much, which is why I really liked Amanda Overmeyer. I'm more into rock and blues. :)

Hey Kimberley, just popping in to check up on you. I'm doing well but just been really busy. Looking forward to hearing you dropping further into the teens of all places! Good for you! And that's on a tall woman. You must be looking hot these days.

It is great that your hubby liked the house. Things are certainly moving forward on that front.

That is certainly some aggressive bidding. If you get a property for that price I would think that a very healthy profit would be guaranteed. Good luck with the offer.

Well done for limiting your food and filling up with salad. I dont think that I could eat half an entree - I am afraid that if food goes onto my plate it pretty much is guaranteed to be eaten by me - in full - every last bite.

Take care

So.....I went to the grocery store today and I was going to get all the stuff for the shake.....but the frozen yogurt was 5.99. I couldn't do it. I didn't realize it'd be THAT pricey! Oh well prob better for me right? :) Hope you're having a good day!

Hey there - I really dunno what to call you - LOL - Kimberly is so loong and I dont really like kimmy - hahaha - The Olive Garden - YUM!!! I should suggest that we take our residents there for lunch on Friday:) They love it there as well and I just over the chargrilled chicken ceaser...and hope to hell it counter acts all the breadsticks I eat - grumble - LOL...and wow you can walk 4 miles in 64 mins damn that is pretty good!!!

The house sounds cute but also like there is a fair amount of work and things to chance - I wish ya luck with all that:)Im prob gonna regret this question but How is the baby making coming along - LOL

Glad to see you!! Ah, I'm looking better, and H thinks I'm hot stuff these days, so I guess that is good. But I'm looking forward to onederland. :) How's your dad??:grouphug:

Margaret--H and I just finished off our Olive Garden leftovers. We each took half of each others..lol. It was sooo good--but in a small quantity. Honestly, I only ate half yesterday b/c I was too stuffed to eat any more. They give you all-you-can-eat salad and breadsticks before your main comes out, so most people fill up on that before they even get their main course.

I think if I do a few extra things to the house, I could re-sell it for up to $130k, giving me a $20-30k profit.

Cerella--You can call me BB (short for bikinibound) if Kimberly's too much to type..lol. Yah, the breadsticks are killer. Fitday estimates one of them has about 150 cals. So I calculated I ate about 450 calories worth of breadsticks last night.

I usually do 4miles in 58-60min, but just haven't felt like busting my ass the last few times I've been out. :D The baby-making attempts have been frequent the last few days, btw. ;)

Priti--yeah, the frozen yogurt is bloody expensive. The cheapest I found it for was $5.50 for a half gallon. That's why I opted for the low-cal ice cream which was only 20 cals more per 1/2cup serving, and only $1.89 in price. :D

Weight was 221 today. Last Sunday I was at 222.5. I'm hoping to shed those 2lbs and be back to 219 by Tues, and down to at least 218 by Thursday. *insert begging/praying emoticon here* :biggrinjester:

Onederland is just around the corner for you! Have fun with your baby making attempts! ;)

I dunno about that! At the rate I've been going, it'll be another 6months before I get there. :banghead:

I'm very pleased with myself b/c I've already exercised for 3hrs since Friday. :hurray: This might be nothing unusual for some of you, but fore me, it's been hard to get any exercise in over the weekends lately. So this makes me happy. :biggrinjester: I did 85minutes today, 84minutes yesterday, and 31minutes on Friday.

My calories are good so far today as well--826 at this point. We'll be having salmon and steamed veggies for dinner. I still have to eat my kiwi for the day.

We are getting our taxes done tomorrow, so I will spend the evening getting things sorted out. H's part is easy--just his W-2. But as I'm considered self-employed, it's a big pain in the ass with all the deductions such as mileage, expenses, etc. :cuss:

Good Luck with your taxes. I don't understand them! My mother does them for me...and its easy for me too because I just do the W-2's.

And I think you are on a roll! Keep up all of your hard work... don't be so hard on yourself about not losing weight so fast!

Kimberly, Excellent job on the Exercise!!! You will reach your goal of 218lb with exercise like that.
BLUE TEAM IS GONNA WIN!!!! YEAH!!!

Have a great week and keep it up your doing fabulous!

Hi Kimberly

I am pleased that you brought your leftovers home and enjoyed them. I must admit that I rarely have leftovers - things that go onto my plate tend to get eaten there and then.

That sounds a very useful potential profit - which you could roll into the next house and then do it all over again. A very lucrative side-line! Fingers crossed that everything goes to plan.

You are right to feel happy with your exercise levels. Not only will they help our team for the challenge - they will definitely benefit your weight loss project which is much more important.

You have my sympathy for having to deal with tax returns. I hope that you manage to find everything that you need - I always end up going on document hunts when I do that type of thing. I have been doing quite a lot of dealing with our finances recently because the end of our tax year is looming too. There are certain types of investments that you can invest so much in any tax year. People naturally leave these until the last minute. Therefore they all need to be renewed at the same time if they have maturity dates. At this time of year we get bombarded with investment junk mail.

I know all about how annoying tax returns can be. When I was working - I had to do everything through my own limited company. It was more annoying even than self employed is. I had to do VAT returns every quarter and for the end of the year do company tax returns in addition to personal ones. In addition to income tax on my personal income - I had to pay corporation tax. It was all a real nightmare - and although I had to pay an accountant to sort it out - it still meant a lot of preparation by me to sort things out for him.

I got quite attached to my company name so didnt have the heart to kill it off when I stopped working. I therefore kept it. This means that I have to send in one completed form each year and a version of the company books for the year. I have a zero trading set of books on the computer and it takes me about ten minutes to go in and change the years on all the pages, print it out and sign it. I am well used to the form too - so that doesnt take longer than 10 minutes either. It all means that if I decide to work again I can do so with a minimum of effort and expense.

It is silly - hubby is working - but they do not want a tax return from him, I am not working but they want a tax return from me. It is all a bit of a farce - but we have until September to do our tax returns for the tax year that finishes next week.

Take care
Love
Margaret

Brandy, Eldaweesda and Margaret--thanks for stopping by!

The taxes were relatively painless...lol. I made so little last year, it didn't take long for me to find more deductions than income for me. :ack2: We are getting a decent amount back so that is nice.

I was pleased to see my weight down to 219.5 today, so a new low is definitely possible this week. A week ago, I weighed 224. I was going to go to the gym today, but had to go into the office unexpectedly, and then drop off flyers at a listing where the sellers are very chatty. Oh well. I exercised so much over the weekend that I can afford to take a day off. :)

It is good that you didnt have to spend too long sorting out your tax forms. It is always nice to get these jobs behind us.

It is great that your weight is behaving to plan at the moment. Fingers crossed for a new low later in the week. It is reasonable to expect your weight to go up a bit at the weekend though. Romantic getaways and enjoyable fine dining often seem to go together in my experience and I am sure that you did mention some decent restaurants in the vicinity. Make sure that you remember to eat everything with chopsticks when dining out.

It doesnt matter about missing the gym on Monday - I am sure that you will be going today (Tuesday) - because I know that you will want to get your challenge exercise pretty much dealt with before your fertile period when you may well get side-tracked into other activities.

LMAO!! This cracked me up, Pauly. :D

Scalentino WAS good to me today. I'm back to my lowest of 219!! :svengo:

It's the first time since I first hit it on Feb 22nd.

I'm done with the maintenance crap, and will now focus on losing again. Hopefully my metabolism is back to normal now.

Yay!

That's great!

I think I might have the metabolism problems myself now :banghead:

Glad to see you back at 219.5! Lucky you finished your taxes. My accountant passed away a few months ago so I bought the program to try to do it myself this time. Eeek.

Yeah, and if you keep going at it, by Friday you will be at 218, YOU CAN DO IT!!! GO DO IT GIRL! I'm working on a low this week, I pray for both of us it all works out!! Hope your day was a good one sister! I'm getting ready to head out, so hold the fort down while I'm gone. LOL LOL
Lub ya!
It's my H's birthday today, FOR REAL! LOL LOL oh and Amy told me about the chopstick joke, DAMN it I really got excited about that one! LMAO!
