BikiniBound's Diary

Hi Kimberly,

Looks like you had a great week of exercise! Your weight loss is very inspirational! ;) Good luck with the house hunting.
GO BLUE!!!!

Congrats about your job becoming exciting again, Kimmy! I'm rooting for a pretty substantial commision for you in these few potential buyers!

I'm sure you'll find a house soon enough. And you'll definitely have to snap a picture of the one you're most interested in. It'll have to have a lot of sunlight potential, imo. You seem like the kind of gal who LOVES natural light.

Keep swingin' honey, just keep swingin. It's half the fun. Okay, you're right...it's practically ALL the fun. ;) The painful contractions, swelled feet and sore breasts to come aren't so much. Haha.

Happy St. Patrick's Day, sweetie! :seeya:

Oooh the gift that keeps on givin'. Have fun...remember that it counts as exercise! The more creative you get, the more calories you'll probably burn! :p

Nah, I don't count it as exercise--a couple minutes here, a couple minutes there...:smilielol5:

Trev, Brandy, Rae, Eldaweesda--thanks for stopping by! :hug2:

Exercise this week:
3/17—30 min circuit training, weight: 222, calories: 1,909

Good news--we got an offer on my newest listing. It's only been on the market a week. It's not as good as the sellers were hoping for, and the buyers probably can't afford to do any better, so I'm not sure we can make it work. We'll see.

Rae--way to point out the postives of pregnancy...lol. :smilielol5:

No house-hunting today. I will do some tomorrow. I will post a pic or two once we get one. It probably won't be pretty...lol. I'll do before and afters...like we do with our weight loss. :D

Hi Kimberly

I had to look up scatelogical..lmao. Geez, I thought was well-ed-uh-cated...haha.

If you want to sound educated – say it in Greek. Spend any length of time in a Greek village and you learn all about skata (?????) – you cannot flush toilet paper down the toilet or it gets blocked (some tourist is guaranteed to turn up and do this somewhere) and it is fun in the hot weather if the water goes off for a couple of days. See how idyllic I can make life on a Greek island sound! I see that you picked up my English spelling error - the fact that there isnt a C (just a K) in Greek always stuffs up my spelling of such English words.

The only good thing about the scale not going as low as you had hoped on Friday is that you start from a slightly higher point for last week so it may mean that from a challenge perspective you lose a little more this week (bathroom action permitting). I always feel that I should be able to get back to my low weight (in its own good time) – it is everything that lies beyond that I have a bigger question mark over.

It is good that you have had some better weather and have been able to get out walking. You have had a horrible winter. I think that we are all looking forward to some consistent better weather soon. Now that Easter is pretty much here – surely the better weather will be here soon.

I must say that I like the sound of these massages that you are entitled to. I am sure that you will organise things so that you take your full quota. It may be a good idea not to maximise your usage in the early weeks as you may really appreciate the massages even more if you get pregnant. Having said that - the relaxation may help you get pregnant in the first place. Logical rationing and good timing may be the name of the game. Use initially in your more fertile week and hold some back for later but make sure you get your full quota.

It is good that your housing market is picking up – that will not only be good for your career – it should also mean that the property that you develop sells easier and better.

I am sure that with your contacts and market knowledge – you will find the ideal development property very soon and be able to push ahead with that project.

Take care
Love
Margaret

Congrats on an offer for that listing, Kimmy! That was rather quick, it seems. Usually houses are on the market for a rather significant period of time. This is good!

Hey, I'm merely pointing out the biological facts of being with child. I never said it didn't have enjoyable aspects, like foot rubs from the hubby and an excuse to eat a whole tub of B&J's PB cup in one sitting!!

I hope you're having a good Tuesday, honey!

Exercise this week:
3/17—30 min circuit training, weight: 222, calories: 1,909
3/18—None, weight: 222, calories: 1,346

Margaret--the non-toilet paper flushing down the toilet reminds me of Korea. When I first got there, that was the big thing Koreans kept telling us. I find the whole thing disgusting, and did not always obey the no flush tp rule..lol. After my first year's apt, I was able to flush as much as I pleased..haha. I think it might have been a bit of an old wive's tale, as the toilets never seemed to clog up.

The weather was rainy and drizzly all day, so a bit of a relapse..lol...at least no snow!! I think Spring is pretty much here, though, so that makes me happy. :hurray:

My weight seems stuck at 222, but I had to weigh in about 3hrs earlier than normal today, so that might have something to do with it. Did better on the calories today.

I would love to get a massage, but I've been so busy lately. It seems like there aren't enough hours in the day. Too bad massage doesn't count as challenge exercise. :biggrinjester:

I was too busy with other clients today to do much house hunting for myself. I did manage to print out a few listings to go look at. Rae--We hammered out a counter offer, and I think it will work out--so that is cool. :D Things ARE selling if they are priced right, but so many listings are way overpriced for the current market. Long day--left the house at 8:20am and didn't get home until just after 10pm. I did take about 2hrs out for lunch and dinner. Sooo....that means I didn't get any exercise in today. I have to take my mom to the opthamologist tomorrow am, so I will wear my tennis shoes and go for a long walk during her appt--there is always a long wait, and we never get out of there in less than 90min. I just hope it doesn't rain. :ack2: It is super foggy out atm. It was funny driving in it earlier--kinda pretty during dusk, as I was driving along back country roads with misty fields surrounding me. :)

I love driving in the country at night when the sun is setting. Especially in the summer. When you can go real slow with the windows down and hear all the buggies and frogs making their music.

Hi Kimberly

It sounds like things are looking up at work if you have sorted out a deal that the purchasers can afford which may appeal to the sellers.

It sounds like you will have to train your husband up in the art of massage to be going along with - that way you will be able to fit it into your busy schedule.

Weighing earlier than normal can certainly affect the weight. My weight often goes down by about half a pound comparing my pre-walk and post-walk weights. I always use the lowest.

Korea may have been making things up about the toilet paper - but in Greece it is sadly true. I found the whole thing disgusting at first - but after a little while just got used to it. I even got so that I didnt mind bagging up our apartment's bin contents - but I really wouldnt fancy dealing with other people's. A few of my friends have restaurants and that was one area where I drew the line and did not help out. Every time I return to England I find myself (at least on the first visit to the bathroom in my own home) - perched there with toilet paper in hand wondering for a moment where I can put it. Wierd - but true.

Take care
Love
Margaret

I love nature Kimmy, and when you were explaining driving in the fog at dusk on back country roads, it got me uberly excited for the emerging Spring weather.

What I love to do, especially if I'm drenched in sweat after a run, is lay outside on my porch and stare up at the moon and stars. There's something magically mystifying in them that makes all of your frustrations and problems and dissapointments dissappear momentarily. I love it.

Happy House hunting, Kimmy and remember, today is hump day, make use of it. ;) Much love, chica!

Me too! I love driving home in the country close to sunset. Only thing is, I always want to head into the sunset, as that's where Lake Mich is. :D

Margaret--I think there was some truth to the Korean tp issue, just in places with updated plumbing, it wasn't a problem. I, too was grossed out--especially by the #2 tp..haha. :puke:

Still no word on our counter, but I don't expect to hear anything until this evening anyway.

Rae--Today may be hump day, but it's also TLD, so what's a girl to do? :willy_nilly: I guess it's boobie soapings all around. :D

Twin--Speaking of boobie soapings...lol...thanks for mine. :biggrinjester:

Paul--LMAO@your camera. Whatcha gonna call the tape you sell on the internet? TLD Boobie Soapings Gone Wild? Sorry, if you want a soaping yourself, you're going to have to get dressed up like a woman and tuck your bulge between your legs. :smilielol5:

Steve--Salut

Weight was down to 220.5 today, so BB is pleased about that. Got in an hour walk this morning while Mom was at the eye doctor.

Glad to hear that you were able to get in an hours walk. Yikes that must of been one heck of a doctors appt to have to wait that long.
I bet you'll be back down to 219 by Friday. Just keep on with all the hard work. It's paying off!
