Wow, if you got accepted to the foreign service that would be so cool and different. I mean, someone could write a friggin book about this. How you belonged to this pervy internet community whom you told of your dreams. How you get recruited to join the foreign service, move to some exotic country (preferably with nice weather) and meet and marry a rich European diplomat. You and H end up parting ways on very friendly terms with the pledge that you'll meet up again in 2 years if you're still free. Oh and you end up getting exactly to your goal weight like the people on Biggest Loser and a magazine does a story about your healthy new lifestyle.
 
Well, the party tonight was fun. I was a little wary, since I'd never met any of these people (even though H told me a lot about some of them--hilarious stories!). They are very nice people, his co-workers. The food was all-you-can eat buffet--and it was a HUGE buffet. I started out pretty well--avoiding rice and eating lots of broccoli, other veggies and lean meat. Then I discovered the sushi bar! Oh yeah--BB loves sushi! I ate a fair amount--which still isn't so bad b/c it's raw fish and veggies. The rice in the sushi rolls was the only rice I ate tonight, so not so bad. Then I had desert--tapioca pudding, this cherry pastry, a coconut cookie (very small) and some small cakelike thing. Still--not TERRIBLE. Then I came home and ate an ice cream bar (180cals) and a bowl of Total raisin bran. Damn Chinese food--an hour later and I was hungry again..lol. I don't even want to guess how many calories I ate today. I guess about 2700ish. sigh...

OMG--you are worse than I. There is no way in hell H would agree to the 2yr thing, though..lmao We'll see how things play out. I'm ready to go back to Korea and teach...better than what I'm doing now. I liked the lifestyle. I honestly don't think there's any way in hell I could pass the State Dept's background check. ;)

Oh, and you have a great job, a gorgeous little girl, a decent lifestyle, biz trips to Miami etc. Your life is NOT boring and pathetic. :)

Not to laugh, but that's so true about damn Chinese food! And its so damn hard to be good at a freakin buffet. Who bloody chose this place?! I'm sure you had a good time though and you'll get right back to it tomorrow.

Funny how the more you eat the more you crave, what with that little ice cream and cereal nightcap. LMAO. I'm only laughing because I've been there so many damn times myself! Geesh, those food cravings are sometimes absolutely impossible to resist !

Sister did you exercise??? I love SUSHI!! OMG! My highschool boyfriends mom taught me how to make it, she was japanese. LOL I love her!! She came out here a few years ago with her H for my Nieces graduation, and she made home made sushi, and fried rice, SHE'S AWESOME!! I still don't like fish eggs, she would try and get me to go that direction, UHHHHH NO, and HELL NO!! it's like eating snot! LOL LOL

Happy you had fun at the party!! I LOVE Cita's story, sounds like a winner to me, I will buy the first copy!

Tell me about it! :D I don't know who chose the place. My H used to eat lunch there a lot with some of the guys when he worked in that school district. I was worried about a buffet b/c I tend to overeat at the damn things. I wouldn't care so much, but I've been naughty much more than I've been good lately.

Well, I would be feeling a lot better if I hadn't eaten like a cow afterwards. Oh well. I've got my office party on Saturday night, and a family christmas party on Sunday. So I am going to be VERY good W, TH and FRI to try and make up for all of my naughtiness. I'd get on my damn bike tonight, but I've already taken 2 showers today...lmao.

I had fun tonight. I think all the ladies my H works with think he's cute. They just love his accent...:ack2::ack2: And of course they only see his charming side.
