Well Star, I am really pleased that you're losing regularly again. That must've been very frustrating to work so hard then nada. Funny thing is, it all got moving again after you got to enjoy a week of eating more.

Does your comment about Republicans mean your a Democrat? Would love to have a loyal member of the team like you in my party..he he (considering how loyal you are when it comes to sports teams).

Did you see Survivor tonight? I watched this season for the first time and I was absolutely shocked and, frankly, disgusted that they would have an anorexic on the show :rofl:. Its only day 9 and that Courtney is so emaciated..she was so fackin weak she could barely raise that sword. Really quite pathetic.

I liked the Sparta video BTW, I was hoping you'd be in it :D.

Yeah, I'm a Dem. Not as far out in left field as I used to be--but I have a Clinton/Gore t-shirt from the good ole days when Bill was in office..lol. I'm hoping Hillary gets the Dem nomination b/c nothing would make me happier than to see Bill back in the White House serving as the first First Gentleman. :rotflmao: Don't get me wrong--I'm not hot for him. I just think he was an excellent pres--the whole Lewinski shit just overshadowed all the great things he accomplished--especially in the realm of foreign policy and diplomacy. And, let's face it--the economy was soo much better then. Oh, how I loved the Gay 90s..:rotflmao:

I'm living in a very conservative area, so it's not always easy being a Dem. Even my dad's a Rep..sigh...lol.

Oh, yeah--I saw Survivor. I couldn't believe how skinny she was!! My mom said to me as they were leaving the tribal council, "I'm surprised Courtney can carry her torch--she's so weak!" That made me lmao! Seriously, my wrists are as big as her biceps!! Anyone who's on the skinny side should be chowing down like there's no tomorrow for about 6 weeks prior to going on that show--b/c you know you're gonna lose weight--and if you haven't got any to lose, you're gonna be in trouble. I think she'll be the next to go from that tribe. I loved what Jean-Robert said, "I've seen anorexics with more meat on their bones than Courtney has!" So true. But damn--is that James ripped or what?? Hummenna hummenna!!:drooling:

Holy shit did I eat today!! The thing is that I'm still hungry. I've been resisting the urge to pig out more for the last 3hrs!! Why am I so hungry?? Too many carbs maybe?? Well, the other day I had 2100+ calories and managed to lose a half pound so maybe I'll get lucky tomorrow...lol. Hell, I'll be happy if I'm still 233.5..lmao:rotflmao::rotflmao:

So my H's family has a history of heart attacks--his dad died of one at age 64, grandpa at 59, great grandpa at 54. So his doc keeps a close eye on him. Even though he isn't overweight, exercises regularly and eats pretty well, his cholesterol is high and today his cardiologist put him on a medication for it. :mad:

Oh gawd--the new South Park is on again..lmao. Le Petit Tourette. Shit! Ass bitch!! Cocknut! Stupid shit! I've gotta golden twinkle in my eye...pussy..butthole..tittiess..bowel...shitballs. Damn. I think Sheryl and I have tourettes...lmao:rotflmao::rotflmao: If I could say shitballs to the principle I'd be soo happy...:rotflmao: I also have discovered that i like the Sarah Silverman show. Sorry, if you haven't seen this episode you probably don't find this funny..lol.

I loved how Sarah Silverman did the recap of her abortions--the doctor smacking her ass with the clipboard on the way in was SOLID GOLD. Makes me smile. She touched on a touchy subject with no apologies. Lots of women are very very ashamed and secretive about that stuff. nice that she brought it out--"And the third time I was just like...." dammit I can't remember now, what she said! But she rolled her eyes and it was really funny!

Sorry about your husband. The BF and I had argued before about illnesses--some people (like him) think that genetics or whatever predetermines your illnesses/life expectancy, and no lifestyle can do anything about it. That may well be true about SOME things, but I'm like, "Yo, I'm going to eat healthy as possible and exercise and NOT smoke because I don't want cancer!" And he says, "Everything gets cancer if they live long enough." Whatever!

Take care. A high-calorie day ain't gonna hurt ya too much. I was living like a king and gained 10 lbs in 2 months...trying to lose 5 of those by the end of this month...

LOL I can't help cursing around the baby (though I should probably try harder), but at my sister's I couldn't even say "pissed off" because of their son (her husband was like "shhhhhh"). I dunno.

As for the weight and the food, it seems like once or twice a week with some high days doesn't hurt. In fact its done nothing but help you lately. Beware that the next day the scale often goes up (what happened today?!@) but you've seen it come down mad quick too so no worries. This seems to be the key to avoiding these dumb plateaus, though sometimes our patience gets in the way. But our bodies dont really care and just put a monkey wrench in shit when we dont eat enough or do what it wants. Seems like you're basically on your way to the 220's very soon and that is great to see :).

While genetics are quite the bitch, I agree.... I like making the most of the things in my control. And when one does so, they *usually* end up far better off than those who didn't make the most of these things.

If the outcome is not better health, it's certainly better appearance.

Imo, abortions should be used only b/c of rape or an accident. The rest of the time you should be using birth control. Yes, condoms break, etc..and if that happens, get a morning after pill. Hell--I've been sexually active for 13yrs and never once gotten pregnant (b/c I'm careful!) I just don't like it when women use abortion as their only means of b.c. But I still believe it should be safe and legal.

It will go down again and you will be in the 220's by the end of the month! You are doing great and eating well, the one time you had sweets isn't going to affect you in the long run. You are having such a good start to the month!

Hopefully the weight will go back down tomorrow. According to a calculator, I burned 655 calories from the vacuuming and mopping. I believe it, b/c my t-shirt was soaked with sweat by the time I was done--actually it was soaked about 30min before I was done..lol.
