Amy--I think losing 20lbs while in the hospital is fairly unusual. Most women I know have only lost between 10-15lbs. Still, I hope I have your experience..lol.
Claudia--No, I didn't have one of those yet, so it'll work out well. I do plan to use a sling a lot around the house, too. *wink to Amy* So that will let me get things done and still keep the baby close (and hopefully content).
Margaret--I know that the first few weeks after delivering, one tends to lose weight fairly quickly as the fluid levels go down and the uterus shrinks back to it's normal size. Hopefully it won't take too long for my weight to get back to pre-preg numbers.
Wishes--Well, I was fat before I got pregnant..lol. Although much less fat than I was two years prior. I am not sure how much is fat and how much is baby bc everyone tells me that I'm "all baby" and that my face (the first place I get fatter) doesn't look any different from before. So who the hell knows where the weight gain is going. It seemed to start getting bad the last few weeks--which just happens to coincide with a virtual stoppage of exercise due to lack of time/energy. But now that the weather is improved, even if I can't get to the gym, I can still get out and walk, like I did yesterday and today. Also, I wouldn't say that I am pigging out--well, not all the time, and not crazily. Today was a really good day eating-wise. I would say my average calories lately have been around 2600 per day. So that's not terrible--not great, but not terrible.

And I'll post baby pics as soon as possible.
Grebber--You
seen I was from Michigan? Figures a Buckeye would have bad grammar. Everyone knows Mich is a superior school academically.
Sweatpea--Thanks for the pep talk..lol. My original OB said to only gain between 10-15lbs.

My midwives say I'm doing fine..lol. Still, I was hoping to keep it around 20. Whateva....
