This week has been sh1t for workouts..

Didn't get much sleep last night at all, feel ****!

Supposed to be 5x5 with 225.5lbs bench tonight, i'll be lucky to lift it once!

Well i did fail 25 reps, knew i would because of lack of sleep and not enough food!

I think it went something like 2x5, 1x4, 2x3...

I KNOW for a fact i would of got all 25 reps if i was on form. Mind set just wasn't there. Fresh week this week, im still upping it by 5.5lbs (2.5kg) so this week im going for 5x5 @ 231lbs ;)
 
Also, Jason (gym owner) has been saying for a while now that next door he's going to be opening a MMA/martial arts gym up. FINALLY they have began to put equipment in. I've been told that there will be a fully padded room with a ring, and the usual punch bags and all accessories.

I no i started MMA a while back and only went 3 times Lol, but it was quite a distance to travel. So as soon as this opens i'm definately going to start some form of training (boxing, MMA, etc) at least once per week as it will be so convenient to get to.

I need to go climbing/bouldering again as well, just that i'm so low on cash atm i can't afford it.

Upper body tonight anyway, see what the OH press can bring me ;)

I sink on the 5x5 if you don't get all 5 sets of 5 you try the next workout with the same weight. I'm guessing if you haven't completed 5x5 at 225 lbs but jump to 231 lbs, you might not get all 5 sets (but then again you might).
 
I hear what your saying BB, but i was soo off form i KNOW i could of got all 25 with 225lbs. So i'm just moving straight up to 231lbs ;) We'll see anyway!

On the whole i was pleased with yesterdays workout :D

3x5 (176lbs) - Push Press

Very happy with the 176lbs, i've gotta be ready for 198lbs now! I think a target should to be able to push press 100kg (220lbs) once. That would be an achievement!

Chinups
1x8 - 4
1x8 - 3
1x6 - 2

Very sh1t, i felt tired as f**k when doing these and my forearms were fatiquing faster than usual.

Incline DB Press
1x12 (143lbs)
1x10 (154lbs)
1x8 (165lbs) - 4
1x6 (165lbs) - 5

F**ked up on the 3rd set when cleaning the DB's up, i miss judged how much effort i needed to get them up and dropped one, i think this put me off the next 2 sets!

We've now changed squatting from 20,15,10 to 5x5. This was easy, but as i keep saying im working up slowly to avoid anymore injury. Felt a slight bit of pressure on lower back but nothing that bothered me.

Leg Press
1x20 (352lbs)
1x15 (440lbs)
1x10 (550lbs)

Leg Curls
3 Sets

Standing Calf Raises
3 Sets

Last night was day off as i said, just went on the treadmill for half hour and did a few sets of crunches etc.

Upper tonight, 5x5 @ 231lbs........(Flat Bench)
Why do i always get less sleep on the day i want to be most prepared! Pisses me off. I'm going to be confident though and just go for it.

EDIT: I'm also going to post some pic's up soon of my fat/skinny body ;) I think it's about time i got some up...
