Big Mac's Lifestyle Change

Shaun, you can get an awesome ab workout in the pool, too. It's like a cardio ab workout, since it isn't going against gravity. Really killer.

Yeah, I was reading about that Trops. They say if you hold on to the side of the pool and kick your legs its a really good core workout. The other great thing about water workouts is you're really using all your muscles. I was doing breast stroke, back stroke, running laps in the shallow end, kicking with a boogie board laps, just trying to focus on a lot of different muscles. Doing dips up and down on the ledge of the pool, pull ups on the diving board (great because as your body comes out of the water you have to work harder and harder). I've really been thinking about making it a part of my routine even after I'm 100%. The downside is, from what I read, people normally consume more calories when they swim, something to do with the cold water. I'm watching my diet though and working it, we'll see what happens. Need to bring some weights or a weight vest with me into the water, that would add a whole new dimension.

I'm going to assume you meant 294.6. Theres noooo chance in hell or anywhere for that matter, that you lost almost 100 lbs in a week. Your scale is lying to you!! A good lie though. Kinda like the "honey does this make me look fat?" kinda lie... Actually... I don't really know if that's considered a good lie?

Haha, you'd be correct. I hit the wrong number. Although 5lbs in 4 days isn't bad. Maybe I can do 10 this week.

I'd hoped so. :D I'd figured your snide remark would be more along the lines of "all with water aerobics with the old fat ladies, huh?". :reddevil:

Basketball isn't the only one on one sport to count as cardio. It's easier on your bad knee, too.
