1 cucumber & cherry tomatoes…right out of my garden baby!!! Oh yeah! (70)

Dinner:
Grilled ham & cheese, a little dessert (625)

Snack:
Cucumber (45)

Total cals: 1,460

Well...I origionally started the first of the year. I started on Atkins because I had done that before, but this time it just wasn't working...agrivation. Anyway...after only losing about 13 lbs in 4 months, I switched to cal counting in April and have been VERY happy with my new lifestyle!

Anyway....I am sure you weren't expecting a whole 'life' story, but that is the start of my weight loss journey. :D
 
Yeah, I did atkins/ put all the weight back on when i went off before. I have been doing calories counting and watching GI index on foods as well. Its definitely the best way to do it long term.

You are doing so awesome.I read your diary updates every night because your diet is so simalar to mine.And even tho at times I may feel hungry later at night I feel low calorie dieting is the way to go you get great results and your not limited from anything example I did adkins and you couldnt have carbs even healthy or lowfat/fatfree goodies! Then the liquid diets that are out there you miss that chewing and hot meals and snacks lol(meditranian yuck)!Anyway keep up the good work:) Tammy
 
I can't believe how awesome you're doing! Way to go! I'm hoping the challenges will inspire me to step it up a little bit; maybe I'll start catching up:)

I can't limit myself to one lean pocket and I try and not eat them too often, but it sure is convenient to have microwavable food. You're doing great.

LOL...nope...I gave it plenty of time to cool. Since I considered it a 'treat' lunch, there was no way I was going to ruin it by burning myself!

I can't even walk in the door I would go nutttts knowing they have
awesome club sandwhuches and the best loaded smash potatoe and
top it off with a maple butter blondie!I am drooling already!LOL that's
1 of the last places I ate before I started back on my diet!
