Bellaryna's Journey

I feel your pain on dealing with mothers who don't want to listen, despite what their doctors tell them about their real health problems. Been there, done that, got the T-shirt, but that is another story.

Wishing you best of luck in dealing with her situation (and any fight you may have with the scale:biggrinjester:) Hope you win!

Sorry I've been MIA with ya! :hug2:

I ended up in the hospital...

I then got admitted and have continued w/medical issues.

I'm so behind with everyone. :(

********

So sorry to hear about yer mom and the other stresses. :grouphug:

I hope yer gettin' some much needed rest and the weekend will look up for ya hon.
:grouphug:

Lovely Bella,

Sending faith-filled prayers your way for your family/friends.

What's your fav part of the Y?

Awh man, I love everything about it. I'm a kid in a candy store right now (I've never had a gym membership with as many things to do as the Y) my old gym only had cardio and weight equipment. Not to mention the people are extemely nice. So check this out, our water aerobics instructor stayed an extra 20 minutes after class was over teaching us to float on the water using those noodle things. I thought that was so nice of him...he's full of passion and I love to experience passionate people.

Thanks everyone for stopping in with all the encouragement. I really appreciate it.

It had been one crazy, stressful, tiring week.
Mom is out of the hospital (she was released on Saturday) and doing well. Dh was gone over the weekend so I had to deal with work, a babysitter (who turns out to not be such a good choice, but that is another story), mom and a tub that wouldn't drain! LOL
Needless to say I didn't do so hot. At least over the weekend anyways.
For the most part I think that I am may be up by 3 to 3 1/2 pounds. As Sweetpea and I went out for my b-day last night and my food was slightly salty. And since my wedding ring was a bit tight this morning I have to believe that some of the weight I saw on the scale was just retention.
The next couple of days will show the truth on that one.
Being so utterly exhausted on Monday I never made it to Kellie's class. And today (Wed) my allergies kicked in. Making it nearly impossible to do her class since my head would feel like it was going to explode! LOL
Add into that my shoulder has started to hurt again and you can see that I am just a mess this week. :nopity:
Though I do think that the stress has a lot to do with the shoulder. Tight muscles and all.
As Scarlett O' Hara would say "Tomorrow is another day."
So tomorrow I will be getting back into the game. I have 29 days to reach my goal of 195-190. I now I have to lose..........at least 8 pounds to make the high end of the goal.
I know I can do it.
Let's just hope there are no more "stressful" events. :ack2:
And as for the tub, oh yeah baby, you know I fixed that all on my own.
With a little help from the internet that is. :coolgleamA:

Good to see you back. Sorry your week was nuts, but I hope you had a good time on your B-day outing...

BTW, you'll make your goal, I, for one, have faith in you...

What a week you've had! BIG HUG for you! I'm glad your mom is doing better and things are looking up.

 Happy belated birthday!

Wow! Sorry you had such a bad weekend. I'm glad your mom is home from the hospital, though.

Try to take it easy as much as possible. I hope Gil is home now and can help you out some. Sounds like you've got far too much on your plate.

I see a brilliant future career for you in plumbing. But you'll have to learn how to let your pants show some crack. :biggrinjester:

Ahhh!
Thanks to everyone for all the kind words!!!! :blush5:
Mom is indeed very much better. And very grateful that Friday is here. I told here that until Friday I thought she should stay in as much as possible. As I wanted her to "heal" up as much as possible.
I had ever intention of hopping on here last night but watched the debate instead. And since I got up at 4am yesterday by the time the debate was over I was whipped. So off to bed I went.
Right now the weight seems to be all over the board.
To top off the rest of the week TOM arrived yesterday. So who knows what the real weight is. *shrugging shoulders*
Got lucky today in that they didn't need so many people at work and decided to send home 2 people. Everyone that wanted to go home threw their names in a hat and I was the 2nd name drawn!!!
So I will be spending the whole Friday evening with my family.
I can't be on much longer since we are all going to head out together.
I just wanted to pop in and let you guys know that I hadn't fallen off the face of the earth quite yet! :smilielol5:

Just let me know when you need help and I'll be right there!
I'll even wear a pair of my bigger pants so that you will have the full effect!!!!LOL

Just got back from the outing with the fam.
Gil needed to touch base with a couple of members from the church who were staying in the hospital so that was the main reason for our outing.
On the way to the "big city" my youngest, T-man., started making weird noises. Moaning and the like. When asked he said that his tummy hurt. Since I was sandwiched between him and his sister in the back seat and I had just cleaned everything out of the car this morning, I whipped off my hoodie and threw it across his lap. Just before he yacked. :puke:
I felt really bad for him since he was way more worried about us being upset that he got sick in the car than the fact that he didn't feel well. Must have just been something that he ate because by the time we made it to the hospital he was fine. The kids and I did not go to visit since T-man had thrown-up. We just meandered around outside for awhile. We took MIL with us. After walking around outside for about 15 minutes we went into the lobby to warm up. When it was time to go we saw that the flight crew for the helicopter was getting ready to take off. They informed T-man, who at this point was showing no signs of not feeling well!, that if we stuck around a few minutes we could see them take off as well as another helicopter would be landing. Of course that was the highlight of the trip. I know probably sounds lame but we are just simple folks. And lets face it, it was free entertainment. LOL
Ended up eating at Fazolis. For those who don't know it is a fast food Italian place.
Didn't eat so well. I mean calorie wise that is. The food itself was Yummy.
Soooooo again here I am saying that tomorrow will be a new day.
I have no more excuses for not getting back into this game. I know that I can do it. I proved that a couple of weeks back. And I got everything done around my house, so I am no longer so far behind on stuff that I have "no time" to focus on healthy eating and exercise.
(Hence the reason that I haven't been on here much this week. All I was doing was cleaning, cleaning cleaning.)
And now that I have the depression thing under control and mom is just about back to normal I really don't have any reason for why I can't get right back to where I was.
Just like that infamous little train once said........"I think I can, I think I can", and soon I knew I could, I knew I could!
Ciao :seeya:

Glad you feel confident!!! :D

When I was little I had the flu and didn't have the common sense to get to the bathroom (the "bad" kids asked to go to the bathroom during lecture) and I puked all over the classroom so I know what your youngest went through. Man I felt bad about that! Made me hate bacon and scrambled eggs for the rest of my life, LOL!!!

Glad you're not depressed. You're too beautiful to feel crappy :)

You can and you will!

Sounds like some of the pressure is easing off a bit, or at least you're managing it better. Tomorrow is a new day.

BTW, when you going to get back on that bike and ride it? You set the bar pretty high with your 20 plus mile ride a while back.

See, I'll push ya... C'mon, fresh start tomorrow...

Feel free to push me any time I need it also...
