Bellaryna's Journey

You know you are so in on that day!!! There is no way I would ever leave you out of meeting Kimberly. Besides Kimberly and I already decided that it was going to be a good eating out day and I know you like those days too!!!
Sorry you got sunburned. :ack2:
Though it is funny that you only got it bad on the one side.
So you gonna use our story of how you feel asleep on the deck or you just gonna go with a turtleneck!? LOL :smilielol5::smilielol5::smilielol5:

May? You'd better let me in on the date! I wanna meet Kim too!

BTW, you should see my left arm. For some reason it is really sunburned. The right one not so much. I think it was from how I was sitting on the bench. Durn it all I should've known better than to skip work. :banghead: Sick, yeah right, they're going to say. LOL

How did your Zumba class go? Wish I could go with!

Well I don't know if it is due to my running around so much like a chicken with my head cut off, TOM (which showed up this morning blah), working all those extra hours at work or just a combination of all of it but I think I just finally hit a wall this week.
Don't get me wrong I am still exercising, though I didn't go to Powercore class on Monday. Just didn't feel motivated enough.
I just feel so tired. Not sleepy tired either. Just world tired, like I just want to be let alone. Does anyone know what I mean?
As each day goes by I am feeling better. I am sure that for the most of it, it is due to TOM. Since I was fine until Sat/Sun.
Even though I didn't exercise formally Monday I did work in my flower gardens ripping out all the old stuff and prepping the beds for the new stuff. Did that for about an hour. Maybe more as I wasn't watching the time.
I also made it to my Fit for Life class last night. Which by the way got harder!!!! AGAIN!!
Now she has "stations" set up for us at the beginning of class for us to get our cardio in. One was jumping up on to a step platform, another was jumping in and out of squares that she had taped to the floor and the last station was jump roping. You did each station for a full minute. In "between" the stations you got to run down a couple of sets of stairs down a hall and then back up a couple of sets of stairs only to run 1/2 of the track until you were back at the stations again.
We did this for 20 minutes!!!!
I'm telling ya that girl is CRAZY! LOL :willy_nilly:
Sweetiepea and I both did great at it, only because we refused to quit but we paid the price for it as well as we both had sore throats today from all the heavy breathing. Almost like we had ashma or something.
Sweetiepea and I (along with my youngest) did get in some walking today but it wasn't anything really fast as T-dawg was already worn out from playing at the park for about an hour. I would say that we probably walked for about 30 minutes.
I was able to actually get in some swimming of my own today as in this new session at the Ymca I only have 1 kid in my afternoon class and they always get there early. So we get started early and they finish early. And since I had to wait for my dd to get done with her lessons and I was already in the pool I swam laps for about 15 minutes.
Add to that this class that I went to called Zumba (which was 45 minutes), it's kinda like a Latin dancing aerobic class thing, and I got in 1 1/2 hours today.
But like I said TOM is here so I haven't seen a good number on the scale for a few days now.
And with TOM I also haven't eaten the best either. I keep going from the salty to the sweet extreme.
Hopefully that will let up here real soon! LOL Or all that walking won't matter.
Overall this week I got in
4 hours orderfilling
1 hour gardening
1 1/2 hours fit for life
1 1/2 hours walking and zumba
-------------
Total 8 hours

Add to that 1 hour to 1 1/2 hours tomorrow for my fit for life class and I will be at 9-9 1/2 hours.
Plus I am planning on going for a hike at a local nature preserve tomorrow. I have never timed it before but it is fairly large so I would have to think it will really add some time to my totals for the week.
Well it is getting late and I really need to get to bed.
Just felt like I needed to update everything with you guys even if I didn't "feel" like I ws getting much done.
Hope everyone has a great Thursday! :seeya:

Umm...you've exercised 8hrs and kept your household running. I'd say you certainly got a lot done!!!!!!!!!!!! Give yourself some credit, girl. That class with Kelly alone is impressive. Jeesh. You and Sweatpea are rockin' it out.

I'm cool with Sweatpea joining us. I wish there were more people here who lived closer so we could all meet up. Are there any Amish-style restaurants in Shipshewana? Now that is a feast. Shoofly pie..lol We ate at one in Nappanee when I was a teenager. We can justify the calories we consume by all the walking we'll do around the flea market, etc. :D

Bad timing with :reddevil:. Mine came yesterday. :ack2: At least that means my weight is heading downward again--and I managed to not pig out for the first time in days. :blush5: I so hear ya on the eating front. I get ravenously hungry right before :reddevil: shows up.

Happy Thursday! :)

Well cool! And yes of course there are Amish style restaurants in shipshe, you kiddin' me? That's like asking if there are any horse and buggies in Lagrange!

Oh and while walking around at the flea market, we can get some yummy kettle corn, that ought to take care of any calories we might actually burn off. :p

Well I weighed in this morning at a whopping (oaky it's not really whopping but feels like it to me :)) 187.9lbs. That's up 1.9 from last week. :svengo:
I was so hoping to do better this week than last. I never really went into any great details about my lousy work weekend. Trust me you don't want to hear about it. Unfortunately I let the results of the weekend follow me around most of the week. And it did not help that I also had TOM show up mid-week.
Sigh
I did get in lots of exercise walking all around the town and going to my classes. In all I had 750 minutes this week. So hopefully that will show results next week as TOM goes away and I get back into my groove again.
I have to go and take a short nap as I need to be to work in about 2 hours and most likely will work 13-15 straight. I know it's alot but I put the extra 4 1/2 hours on myself. It's my contribution to us getting out of debt.
Though I do think that I am going to tell them that I would like to have next Friday off as far as the extra hours go. Otherwise I will end up getting burned out on the whole thing and that won't be good.
Well I hope that everyone has a nice weekend.
Get out and enjoy the sunshine!

Grrr . . .

Oh well, just keep pushing thru Bell. You KNOW you have made some great changes in your lifestyle and all that exercise is extremely beneficial for your health, regardless of what the scale says.

Hope ya have a great weekend and catchup on some sleep!

I imagined there were, but I haven't been to that part of Indiana in eons--actually, I've been to Nappanee, but not Shipshe as you call it. :)

You can have all the kettle corn. I never cared for the stuff. I'll take the shoofly pie instead. :D

Bella, dear, I hope this weekend is better than last. I'm sure it will be. And I think taking next Fri off the extra hours is a good idea. Burnout is never good.

And hey---WE MADE IT TO THE FINAL WEEK OF THE CHALLENGE!!!!:party::party:

Thanks for stopping by with well wishes for a good work weekend Kimberly, Sweetie and Yarmiah!!!!
It definately was a better weekend this time around then it was last time!
Though I am still very tired from working all the hours that I did it is a good tired in knowing that I did a great job.
I weighed in this morning at .4 higher than my low weight. So currently I weigh 186.2lbs.
The Omega-3's actually made it into the final 3 on the Amazing Race Challenge!!! It got pretty sticky there last week when Margaret had to go in for emergency surgery. But due to the fact that 2 of the remaining teams did not post in time we came in 2nd.
There is a very good chance that we may actually win the whole thing.
I know that I will be doing everything in my power to have a loss this week.

Well I need to run to by groceries so will catchup with everyone later.

Okay
This by far will be one of my quickest posts ever! LOL
As I have a friend from work coming over to help me get the house into tip-top shape before the MIL gets here. I can't even believe that she offered to help. So I am taking it and running!!!! LOL :biggrinjester:
Mostly I will just have her do dusting and window washing. I actually got up at 5am just so the house was clean enough for her to come and help me clean! LMBO!!! I know I am anal. What can I say. :smilielol5:
So pretty much my day will consist of cleaning, cleaning and more cleaning.
Oh Joy! :biggrinjester:
Weighed in this morning still with that .4 hanging there. But I did no formal exercise yesterday so was not surprised in the least.
I do plan to get to my class tonight as well as all the cleaning so should hopefully see a good number tomorrow.
Well like I said this was a quick one.
Gotta run! :auto:
Happy Tuesday Everyone!!!!

Hi Dawn

All this cleaning going on - I certainly cannot let Rod anywhere near this diary. Whatever you say about piles of laundry and dishes in the sink - I just dont believe it!

I hope that you are having a great time with the MIL visit and that she cannot stop going on about your achievements.

I think that it is a good idea for you to give those extra hours at work a miss for this week - you have been rushed off your feet enough with this concept of getting up at 5am to clean.

Dont forget to post today's weight on your challenge scoresheet - that way you have your data so far filled in incase you get any more internet problems. You can always edit it again tomorrow with today's exercise and any lower weight that you get. That is what I intend to do.

Good luck at the scales.

Take care
Love
Margaret

Have a blast cleaning! lol.
Oh yeah! I just looooove to clean! NOT!!!! :smilielol5:
Contrary to Margaret's belief of my cleaning prowess I soooo dislike to clean. At least I had a friend who came over to help out. Now if I could just get her to come over all the time!

Did I just experience my first "drive-by posting"?

Wow, what a rush!! :smilielol5:

Have a great tuesday!

:auto:
You know it! When there is a MIL coming in there is no time for anything else! hahaha

Hi Dawn

All this cleaning going on - I certainly cannot let Rod anywhere near this diary. Whatever you say about piles of laundry and dishes in the sink - I just dont believe it!
Then you just need to come and see for yourself that it a never ending battle. I didn't even get to folding all the clothes yet! And MIL has been here now for 2 days. YIKES!!!!

I hope that you are having a great time with the MIL visit and that she cannot stop going on about your achievements.
I am really enjoying her visit! And she has mentioned quite a few times in different ways the differences that she is seeing in me. Not just physically as in how I look, but also with the way I eat and also with my exercise. Needless to say I think that she is impressed. As she told me how she was bragging on me to her sister. The one that we visited over Christmas.

I think that it is a good idea for you to give those extra hours at work a miss for this week - you have been rushed off your feet enough with this concept of getting up at 5am to clean.
:iagree:I am so agreeing! I am soooo tired this week. With all the running around that I have been doing I can't seem to catch up on my sleep!

Dont forget to post today's weight on your challenge scoresheet - that way you have your data so far filled in incase you get any more internet problems. You can always edit it again tomorrow with today's exercise and any lower weight that you get. That is what I intend to do.

Good luck at the scales.

Thanks for reminding me Margaret! I probably would have forgot for sure!!! Especially with how busy I have been this week.
I did go and update but wasn't able to put a number that I would have liked. Hopefully tomorrow will be better.

:sleeping:Today was another tiring day.
I went with my daughter and all her classmates, plus the other 2nd grade class, to the Botanical Gardens. We also went to a Planetarium.
You would think that going on a "little joy trip" it would be more relaxing and not so much work. NOT!!!! LOL Trust me it is every bit WORK.
The kids were wonderful. But they were wanting to go everywhere! And trying to corral 4 kids that want to go in 4 different directions is difficult at best. LOL
And when it came time for them to "browse" the gift shop........OH MY!!!!
Just try to keep kids from picking up everything that is breakable and see how well you do! LOL
Well MIL is wanting to chat so I will check in tomorrow with you all.
Hope everyone had a great day!

Hi Dawn

It sounds like the visit is going really well. It is always nice when our efforts and achievements are noticed and commented on. Your MIL sounds really nice.

It sounds like you were kept on your toes at the botanical gardens. I suspect that you will have burnt quite a few calories running around after a bunch of kids.

Well done for updating the scoresheet. We all have days when we wish that we could post a better number. Pasta always gives me a high food weight too. In addition - with pasta sauces you sometimes have to be wary of the sodium content. With luck you might manage to get a better number tomorrow - especially after that gruelling exercise class that you do. At least with the Thursday posting in place - we are still in with a chance even if the internet goes down. Other teams have to contend with issues like TOM, food weight, "the nibbles" (like I had on Tuesday) etc.

Take care
Love
Margaret

Dont forget to post your exercise from Thursday. Our team is still short on exercise - and waiting for the exercise that we know that you were planning on doing. It doesnt count until it is posted on the scoresheet.

I have posted the maximum that I am allowed to post - and Kimberly has posted all that she has done. We need you!!!

Hey beautiful! I haven't been by to post in some time, sorry!! I'm working out some new career change, and it's sucking all my time right now. LOL LOL it's all good and I'm sure a true blessing from the man above! I've been praying about it for almost a year, and it just fell in my lap so to speak. Long story, Don't get me wrong, I love my current job, I'll post some info in my diary about it later. It's so good to see your still doing well, and keeping up that great attitude, I miss you so much!! good luck this week in the weigh in, I have no doubt you'll do fine!
Hugs and love
Kim:waving:
