Thanks Kate!! I'm so glad I finally got a job!!!! It's been soooooo long!!

Urgh was a struggle getting my poor achey body up this morning after all the running I did last night. I got up and did it though... and as soon as I got to the park, the skies opened up haha. We did our whole session under a picnic shelter while there was a massive thunderstorm raging around us, I still got soaked... especially when I had to ride my bike home in it!! It's cleared up now though. Jeez. Just keeping my eye on the prize... I know all this pain and the shitty workouts will get me where I want to be!

Husband has 2 days off work now, YAY! Pretty sure we are spending the day in binge watching Disney movies, haha! No plans.

So guys, not a perfect day today. Went about 600cals over maintenance, nothing I can't undo in a day. I'm straight back into it though!! REALLY want to see a weight drop this week, so have to eat healthy over the weekend so I don't get stuck with all the fluid retention!

Not the greatest day yesterday, ended with a 300 cal deficit. Just got to get through today and then weigh in tomorrow! I managed another 8 workouts this week, yikes! Next week it'll only be 7 as I have to drop my Thu night sessions for my new job. I'm thinking I might start doing a 45min PT session every Thu morning and maybe cut my Tue morn weight session too, maybe for a walk or something. Really don't want to be over-training! Mind you, I feel pretty good today... managed to sleep in till 6:45am (my alarm is set for 5:20 every day, I normally wake up before it) and today is a full on rest day too so I know I'll feel even better tomorrow!

Today didn't end well, 600cals over maintenance. I have a cold, been tired and snotty and feeling pretty miserable today. Really got to try harder this week with food!

It makes me tired reading all the exercise you do!!!!! You are so motivated. I wish I was too. I am going to try going for a bit of a run in the morning!! :eek:
 
Crappy weigh in and I feel even puffier today! Checked the date and of course Tom is due in a couple days, doh!! Going to suck it up and get through the week, hopefully the rest of that fluid will be gone by the time we have weigh ins next week! Also means I'll be starting my period right on one of my first days of work, argh.

Yesterday was still not great, 270cal deficit. Aiming today for a little over 700 so it should balance out at a 500cal average for the first two days this week, I'm ok with that! Husband has today off work, it sucks because any other day I could skip class but we have a group practical assessment today. Sucks!

What a day!! I feel like I haven't really stopped till now. Had my class this morning (I decided I wanted to do kettlebells instead, good decision! Was awesome!) then I showered and ate, after which Wade was awake and ready to go so we decided to go and do the grocery shopping. I wanted to split mine between 2 supermarkets and the queues were pretty big so it ended up taking like an hr and a half. When I got home I went to put away some stuff I got yesterday and realised I'd bought the wrong stockings- as soon as everything was put away I went straight back out and walked to the shop to exchange it. When I got home it was after 11, did some baking... cleaned up... had lunch... suddenly it was almost 1pm. Then I got a phone call from my new job saying that there was no one in this city to train me and I'd have to drive 1.5hrs each day to the capital city for training... Yea, had to tell them I don't have a car so that isn't happening. He said they'd try to organise accommodation for me up there for the duration of my training then he would call back. Called not long after and said someone would come down instead, but I would be starting Friday instead of tomorrow and they'd call back to confirm... which he hasn't yet. During all this Wade had decided he wanted to get coffee and grab a few things so we were out and about, then my phone died and I had to get home thinking I would miss his call. Argh. Had dinner and then spent half an hr making my husbands, in the oven now... and now, I'm done lol. Have to get up and clean the kitchen again after this. What a day. Hopefully they'll still call tonight or tomorrow!

I think Wade and I are checking out a few places in the tourist-y area tomorrow since I have another day off, thought that'd be cool! Also my roster has changed so I don't work Thu nights anymore, so I can still go to the Thu night classes! I think I'm going to do the mixed kettlebell/boxing class tomorrow night.

AND I can't believe I forgot- Wade has has good results with his experimental meds!!!! His doctor said he would be eligible for surgery Feb next year, and that by Dec next year they should be able to remove the rest of it. He was gone the whole day, he said he sat at the beach crying for most of it (he was told a couple of years ago he only had about 5 years left). So YAY!
 
The people at this job are seriously stressing me out... I still haven't received a phone call confirming ANYTHING about my first day, it's 4.15pm and I'm supposed to be starting tomorrow. I was supposed to get a call back saying that they had managed to confirm someone was coming down to train me and what my first day would look like etc. Argh I'm getting so frustrated!! Really worried they might rescind the offer because I don't have a car. Spent my day cooking and cleaning to take my mind off things... Getting my food prep done, and now the house is clean so that's good I suppose.

Food etc was ok today, with exercise tonight and then post workout snack I'll be finishing with a 500ish cal deficit which is fine.

Thanks Cate, I was actually really upset by it all! I'm going to call today, really worried that he's going to be wondering what kind of person he's employed if he thinks he's explained everything ok? I don't know. Argh. I got less than 5 hours sleep last night, not just from that though... had a coffee with caffeine at lunch yesterday which is never a good idea, I'm so sensitive to caffeine. And working out at night keeps me hyper for ages too. Workout this morning made me feel a lot better though!! Just got to get through today!

I'm pretty stoked at having made all my food for 4 days- I'll only have to make more chia puds as pre-workouts and make brekki every day. I have bread made for brekki, still have a heap of protein muffins, made another protein cake last night. Lunches I have turkey sausages with cauli-tots and winter veg mix (baby carrots, green beans, broccoli, cauliflower) and dinners are chicken breast cooked in tinned tomatoes with herb and garlic, shredded, over a pea/corn/capsicum mix with green beans topped with cheese. Also have yogurt I can grab and heaps of cottage cheese/almond milk for ice-cream. Too easy! Also made all my husbands dinners those days too. Feeling organised! No excuses!!

Welp. May or may not be starting work today... guess I'll find out!

Thanks Cate... I had my first day at work yesterday, it was interesting! It seems like it's going to be fairly easy (eventually) when I have some training... but the person that was supposed to come and train me isn't going to anymore, so I'm shadowing people in the store this weekend and then I think I'm on my own. I'm a little shitty about that, don't really get any actual training! Argh! Still, yesterday did go ok. I think the rest of it I'll have to research online and pick up from other people instore.

Just got back from my class in the park, was pretty full on this morning!! Now... rest, till Monday! YAY!

Morning all! Ahhh so yea, they completely left me alone yesterday. I have no one training me and know nothing. Grrr. It's pretty frustrating because this would be a fairly easy job if I had some direction!! I really would've only needed someone with me for a day or two. Thanks for the confidence MrVee, I know I'll get there but I think that it's going to be in more like a few weeks rather than straight away which is frustrating for me.

After work yesterday I spent a couple of hours waiting at the doctor with my husband who had yet another migraine, told him he HAD to see a doc now (he's had them his whole life, normally he'd get them once a week/fortnight but they're more like bi-weekly now). They think he has a chemical imbalance in his brain mimicking depression but appearing as chronic headaches, could be as simple as taking medication. He's getting blood tests and a cat scan on Tue. Doc gave him some pretty mean painkillers in the meantime so that's good.

Today... Woke up pretty early, had a fair bit to do. Baking snacks for husbands lunches right now, had to stop though as Wade isn't awake yet and I need to use the mixer. Also made chia puddings for my pre-workouts for the next few days, and are currently doing a factory reset on my phone as it keeps resetting itself. Good times. Also my husband needs to take a dish to work on Tue, so I'm organising that (and making it for him) so sorted that out too. I work 11-4 today.

Challenge weigh in tomorrow and Tom is due- don't know how it'll go. I guess I'll be happy as long as the scales don't show a gain? Pretty sure they will though... even though I owned the food and exercise this week! Ending with a 4400cal deficit over the week and I worked out 6 times.
