Your story is very motivating! I'm about 139 right now. I've only been dieting for about two weeks, but my 4 lbs since I started is a little discouraging. I'm on a very similar weightloss plan as you did, I've been going to the gym at least every other day, and in the past week I've stepped it up to every day so far. Would you say you recommend starting out with more cardio at first? I've been doing about every other day, one day doing maybe 40 minutes of cardio, the next doing 10 and more weights instead.
Two years ago I was between 118-120, so I'm trying to get back to that. Either way, I'm definitely planning on sticking this out, but it's encouraging to hear someone else who's done it successfully. In the past I haven't had very good self-discipline, but I've been making a lot of changes lately that I know are going to stick, so I'm glad for that.
