Cohen's Lifestyle Before And Afters!!

Prefix for Cohen's Lifestyle
Welcome to the forum Sal. I look forward to seeing your before & afters! Cohen's is great! The most important thing is to stick with it & don't deviate from the program. All the best, Cate.

Mines is my display picture, and a larger one is on my profile. Shame I never did a full body before photo, but you can still tell the difference in my face!

Mick you look fantastic, like a totally different person. Well done. :hurray:
How long have you been able to maintain your weight?

omg! total transformation!

I started up this thread ages ago to help inspire people on their Cohen's journey. I still am around 10kgs off my goal but I thought I would post some before and during shots that may help others along the way. WARNING: these are in my bra and tracky dacks and bikini bottoms, sooo I'm sorry if it offends anyone!! And they are scary sights to behold!!! This is a seriously confronting thing to do!!! I am just so glad I have found out what was wrong with me that I could never lose weight and would keep piling it on - even with the most healthiest of diets!! Thank you Dr. Cohen and team!!
I started on the 25th September at 84.2kgs and am at on the 31st Dec 66.2kgs (18kgs) and I have lost around 76cm's. Anyone can do this!!! Bring on the loss of the last 10!!!
I hope this works!!

You look awesome! congrats!

I Was Wondering If Anyone Could Give Me Some Clues Please...i Am Practically At My Goal Weight And Am Starting To Feel Hungrier, I Read That This Was About The Time You Start The Refeed Program, What Will I Be Having That Changes From The Usual Diet, Has Anyone Done It Yet To Know?
Thanks

Fatwhome-During re-feed you add certain foods, subtract others- new protein, new fruit, new vegies, add extra quantities of protein, fruit & veg. You re-introduce carb's such as bread, rice, wine...It is quite complex & cannot be explained quickly or easily. Your clinic will provide you with all the details as soon as you let them know that you are near goal weight. Hope this helps a little, cheers, Cate.

refeed question

Hi Fatwhome

Not many of us around at the moment. If you are near to you goal weight and are feeling hungry well that is usually the indicators to start refeed.
You need to ring your clinic and follow this up with them asap before the hunger becomes intolerable and leads to deviations.
Could you give us a bit more info about yourself it would be worth while for those who have just started and also us oldies who are now trying to maintain the weight loss to see how you have been going and what your start weight was and what it will be.

Sorry i forgot to answer you other question regards refeed being different to the weight loss plan. Well basically you are give a number of days to do and with each day a higher carb food is added...it turns out be quiet alot of food and is a struggle if you can believe it. You still stay with the baisc way of cooking, no fat is introduced only the reintroduction of different carbs like bread, more fruit and veg....etc.

Hope this helps.

Sam:)

Wow!

You are all so inspirational. Thanks so much for having the courage to post your pics! I promise as soon as I have some "afters" I'll have mine up!!!

Hi guys,

Im a Cohens newbie, started 1 week and 1 day ago. Ive found it relatively easy and havent really missed the rice, breads, pastas and chocolate (well, maybe just a little bit ;))

I started out at 86.5kgs, have lost 2.3 this week and my goal is 59-61kgs which actually sounds a little daunting. Even when I was skinny (about 12 years ago) I think i was about 65kgs so Ill see how I go.

Thank you all so much for having the courage to post before and after pics. It has been inspiring to see the results of so many people.
It makes me think my remaining 23kgs will be a breeze!

Welcome Katie

I am on week six and have lost 12kg in the first 5 weeks, but still a long way to go. I have a total of 60kg to loose all up and I am now down to 48kg to go!!!

Good luck with your journey. Everyone is very supportive in here. I have found starting diary has been very therapeutic and a great way of getting my thoughts in order if I am having a hard time and the support from other cohenites is fantastic. So if you are interested you might like to start your own up.

:waving:

I have no doubt you will blow people away at your 30th birthday party :)

Hi guys!!!

It seems no one has posted on here for a while... I've been looking and getting inspired by all of you brave people. So... Here are my pics - eek!

I'm only 7 weeks into Cohens. I'm going to take a photo every 6 weeks, so this is my start photo and my photo from 6 weeks in. My jeans are falling down!

Thanks again, guys. x

Thank you decisionmaker. It's a brave thing posting photos. I agonised over doing it! You look great! Well done, cheers, Cate

Thanks Cate!

I'm getting there... only half way though. Your pics are incredible, so well done!

Good luck over the next few weeks, hon. You'll do great!

x Joh

I do feel like a new woman... Life has never been better!

Wow Life's Good! You are truly amazing...the transformation is simply too great to be true and you don't need a photoshop to do it! *laugh* I salute your determination to go from 100+ kg and right down to be normal...I certainly hope I can be as determined as you. I can't wait to surprise people after July (pray it wouldn't get longer than this). Juz wondering if 5 mths is too short a period to lose all my weight.
