Di78 - your so kind!your pics (as well as fab chelseas) are what motivate me each day.that pic was taken two weeks after my 4 week weigh in and as i only weigh once a month i could of lost an extra 2 or three kgs when that pic was taken..did that make sense? :p

Cath - hehe lovely comment! its probably because i pretty mostly black clothes now...i think its going to take a long time to get me back into some colourful outfits hehe :D

Netski-you look GREAT!! how tall are you if you dont mind me asking?? my goal weight is 66 but i have a close friend who is same height as me and weighs 59 and looks terrific which makes me think of going down to around 60 kg..?

Hi Fat[SLIM]Cat I'm with cath you look so slim after losing 10kg it looks like you have reached Goal.

Welcome back Netski how long ago did you do Cohen's? Any tips for is newbies to Cohen's.

Sam

howdy

fat cat: i'm 164cm- but i'm a bit of a gym/exercise nut so i actually have a low body fat percentage and hugh muscle density- therfore i look smaller than i weight . Which is very hard because people tell me i look great but the scales still say 64.5

nans68: i finished my refeed late september last year and when i finished i weighed 64.5kg howver my goal weight really was 62kg. BUT i was also advised that because i'm so active i may need to do it a little sooner so i just waited untill the hunger became so unbearable that i was unable to function- at all - or sleep ( i developed mild insomnia associated with the weight loss)
Anyway i feel i could do with a few more kg's gone as i'll be copeteing a lot this year and the more i weigh the harder it will be so its a small price to pay.
I started at 96kg so i had a lot of time to think about tips and advice as i went through the kg's- its free and i give very open advice-sometimes i'm a bit brutally honest though

current number 1 tip- find 2 dinners which you really like and 2 lunches and then eat them every day for as long as you can handle- the more to disassociate yourself with food and pleasure the better . After all medicine never tastes great!;)

Wow FatCat - you look fantastic in that 2nd photo. I don't know where the extra 20 kilos are going to come from - you must have really fat feet or something, cause the part we can see in the photo looks fab! LOL.

Hi Netski. Congratulations on getting to your goal weight - great effort. I do have concerns about you wanting to go an extra 6 kilos though. I have found the Cohen's goal weight for me, is a few kilos less than standard BMI tables etc. So to go UNDER the Cohen's range, for your height, makes me wonder. Have you got your clinic's or doctor's okay for that extra loss? Sorry if I'm overstepping the bounds here, but I would hate to be encouraging an eating disorder of a different kind.

Wow Netski, you look amazing!! Beautiful!! It's so great to see everyone sharing their successes and journeys. Very inspirational!

Wow - Netski, thanks for the link to your lovely website. That is so special. You and your husband are very lucky to have each other.

Thankyou

Hi,

Thankyou to all of you for you kind words.Even as a slimmer me i still struggle with image-THANKYOU

Pumpkin- I really appreciate your concern. I understand why it may seem excessive and unnecessary. I also do not think youoverstepped the line- i dont have a line. You can say and ask anything- thats how you learn! I guess in response, i dont actually really follow or trust BMI. I would like to compete pro in some cycle and endurance events and i really need to get my body fat percentage down. I spose when i say 6kg i really mean that i need to loose fat-if i build more muscle but lose fat and stay the same weight i will be happy but at the moment i need to trim the fat then bulk muscle-it is too hard to do both at once. I guess i am getting fussy . But better focus on health and fitness than food and fatness!

wow good to see a fellow cyclist. Your pics are amazing, and the blonde suits you well too :)

Well I am now under my Dr Cohen recommend weight of 90KG, and one look at my lumpy tubby tummy says that I still have some weight to lose before I truely to look slim/trim. However there is no doubt being 33KG less than 123KG is just great!

For a guy 187cm tall a weight of 76~92KG is considered normal, so at 90KG I am just at the upper end of normal, but clearly since there was no mass of athletic muscle waiting to be rediscovered I decided that 80KG would be a better goal, 10KG less than Dr Cohen recomendation is my goal and if my fat measuring scales are any guide I would be around 15% body fat at 80KG.

24 week update

Hi,
Here are my latest before and during photos. I wasn't so happy with how this outfit looked - but having already had photos taken by my children in 5 different outfits, I thought I was just being vain!!
I'll update my ticker as well. With Christmas and my dad dying, it hasn't been a great weight loss month. But I'll be back into the swing of things soon enough!

Hello

Heavenly lamb what an amazing difference, your looking super de dooper. Congratulations.

I am sorry to hear about your dad, it's so hard losing the ones we love so dearly. I haven't lost a parent but have lost a close friend, he died at the age of 32 and it was so heartbreaking, so i do really feel for you. Great big massive hugs. take care.
