Bedsy's Journal

Thanks Kate! :D
I just want you to know you make me smile everyday!

Today was a pretty good day i suppose. It was s o hot today that, i couldn't really bear to eat anything heavy anyways, so i had fruit salad for breakky and then for lunch we kinda went for a stroll to the shops and then on the way back i got another frit salad and i had it with yoghurt. Then when i got home i had a breast of chicken in tomato simmered sauce and some veggies.
And i just got back from a 50min walk...not a kick ass walk because it was really hot but it was pretty good.
I felt like my motivation may have been waivering today wheni got home from work, but then i thought maybe it's just because it's hot...i hope so.
Right...4 kilos.

YAY! 38 day to go until the new Rugby League season!!! I can't wait!
I want to be fit like a rugby league player, man those boys are crazy fit! I watched a state of origin dvd last night and it made me want to go for a run.

Anyways, yesterday's food

I had 1 piece of wholmeal toast with vegimite and fruit salad for breakky. 1 piece of roast chicken and greek salad for lunch. And i wasn't hungry at dinner so i had a mango and 1 small piece of chicken wingette thing from the casserole i cooked for dinner for my family. And I had a small piece of dark chocolate before I went to bed, just to give me sweet dreams, and it WORKED! :D

Today for breakfast i just had my usual toast and fruit salad. I think next week, i'll start back on my weet-bix with apple and grapes.

I don't know what i'll have for lunch today though, but last night i made asian beef soup broth, so i think tonight i'll buy some bok choy and bean sprouts and cook some beef and rice noodles and have beef soup with chili.

I am obsessed with chili at the moment, everything i eat has to have chili in it. Oh actually i might get a subway 6'' turkey sandwich today with jalepenos!
yuuuum! Yep that's what i'll do.
Anyway's on cable they have a whole channel dedicated to food, called Lifestyle Food, which sounds like it might be more of a hindrance than a help for someone trying to lose weight, but it's become quite therputic for me for some reason.
I like to sit and watch the good shows on there and then get in the kitchen and cook something up for my family, it's strangely relaxing. Of course I put my own healthy spin on all the recipes i get from there, and i'm off carbs for the most part at night time (unless it's like half a cup of rice noodles for stir-fry or something)
I love recipes with heaps of chili so if anyone has any good ones, let me know!

Yes! I have lost another 1.5kg in the past two and a half weeks! How exciting.
The last few days, i haven't really been tempted to eat anything bad. Like last week, I would have stepped over my own mother to have some Pizza or a cheeseburger, but thins week, i feel good and calm and pretty happy with eating healthy food.
I've been cooking alot fo rmyself and my brother, trying out new a different stuff, just so i don't get bored having the same things day in day out.
I have been lazy with exercising though. I want to try and get from 2-3 times a week to 4-5 times a week. I think it's just because it's been so hot, and i get scared going out in hot weather in case i get head spins and stuff.
I can't wait until Autumn, I love going out when it's cooler, i could walk for hours and hours.

Great Work loosing 1.5 kg, I hope this Rugby League season will be a great one. I have to work on the sign on desk for the junior rugby union sign-on this saturday.

Thanks Tru! :D

I just got done decorating my desk in Sydney Roosters stuff hehehe, drove my Penrith supporting crush at work crazy :p

I am so excited! I did shopping tonight and made marinated chicken wings and peri peri chicken breast pita pockets for lunch tomorrow! I am so excited.
Plus heaps of fruit and veg and stuff of course. I need to go back to the shops tommorrow though, i forgot the marinade for the chicken legs.

Tomoorw i'm gonna go shopping and keep busy. Go heaps to do so i won't be a lay-about.

No way! lol! That's is cool! Well, If you ever work up enough courage to try it, you have to do it the right way.
Get a hot buttered piece of toast (has to be well buttered for beginners!) and put just a scrape of vegimite across the toast, don't pile it on like chocolate spread or anything like that 'cause it's really strong! That's if you ever decide to try it :D

Haha, nice work Tru! I wanna do mine now...or maybe i'll make a banner.
Yeah, it's shame we won't meet until round 12, i was looking at the draw the other day with this guy at work who i have the hots for, (he goes for penrith, urgh!) And we only meet penrith once this season, and it's not until round 23! It a bit of a strange draw this time, but nevertheless, there's about 32 days to go...ooooh! How exciting!

Okay I know i don't post my food everyday, but that's just because i have basically the same thing everyday.
Weet-bix with fruit or vegimite toast and fruit for breakky
Turkey, cheese, lettuce, green peppers, pickles cucumber and LOTS of hot chili sauce for lunch
and some kind of protein and veg for dinner.
If i get hungry in between i have yoghurt or fruit and at night i have a small piece of dark choclate.

My dad bought a digital camera and my brother took a photo of me with it yesterday and was shocked to see how much better my face looked. Just at christmas i had some photos taken with my family and i was so big my face looked swollen and weird lol. It looks much better now, i might post the pics when i get home from work today.

I can't wait for The Biggest Loser to start next week. Man i always cry everytime i watch that show! But I get motivated when i watch it too.
Anyway, i will post more when i get home from work today.

keep up the great work, well done noticing a difference in your face, sometimes progress isn't measured on the scales :)

hey Bedsy....just wanted to say hi and ask what (sorry if you've answered this a million times) Veggimite is?? It sounds familiar (my best friend lived in Australia for 2 years recently) She used to send me some cool chocolate bars that we don't have in Canada....also some candies that tasted like musk??? congrats on noticing a difference in yourself - that's always a nice moment!

Holy hunnies!! You look amazing- keep up the great work :) Also- I'm jealous of your eyebrows...mine never look good :)

Still feeling good. I haven't had any mad cravings or and i only messe dup badly once, which isn't bad since i've been doing this since december.
The weight loss is slowing down again though lately though i can tell.
It's so weird, but i can so tell when i'm not gonna lose anything for the week or two weeks.
my body just feels stubborn lol! :p

I am going to the cricket final this weekend. Australia v sri lanka at the SCG with some mates which should be fun.
And tomorrow night we're having a video night a tmy mates place.
Don't worry i made sure she had a veggie and fruit tray lol :D

Hi, there just read your diary for the first time, and sounds like you are doing really well. Those photos are great and you can definitly tell you lost weight. I enjoyed reading especialy realising there was someone else haveing vegimite toast for Breakie, its my favourite. Keep up the good work.

the second final should be fantastic after our loss in the first, You are doing great and don't panic about the loss slowing down it happens to all of us.

Hi Zoila! Thanks for stopping by and sharing my enthusiasm for vegimite lol! :D I love it, i couldn't live with without it i don't reckon.

Cricket was good fun! A bit of a no contest in the end, but I was glad to see Symonds and Ponting kick butt! All good fun.

Anyway, as we all know it's a bit hard to eat healthily at a sporting event and i was not very well prepared considering i stayed at a mates house the night before. Not only that i was recovering from a mean hangover and stuff, so when i absolutley had no other choice i ate a meat pie with sauce.
It tasted good, and i appreciated it at the time, but geez, i really felt sick after it.
I don't know what it is about junky food and bread now, that when i eat them, especially at certain times of the day, i feel really sick.
I still feel kind of full in my stomach of food, for some reason which shouldn't really happen from 1 meat pie, but i'm just taking it easy today.
I had an up&go for breakfast instead of my vegimite toast or weet-bix and some fruit salad, so i'm kind of de-toxing lol.
I feel really tired after abig weeked, so hopefully A walk this afternoon will make me feel better, AND the biggest loser starts tonight!! Woo hoo! I can't wait.

Apart from that despite my efforts this weekend, i have lost another 0.5kg.
Yes!
