I had a couple of crackers with cheese and a couple of pieces of pickles veggies and then i had the atlantic salmon and veggies...and then i had a third of a piece of caramel cake :( but at least i didn't eat all of it and then we walked around the city for about an hour which was better than catching a cab home...so i didn't do too bad.
I still coulda walked for ages tonight, i can't wait until i go walkinh tomorrow, i just want to walk and walk and walk.

Hi bedsy...I noticed what you had eaten, and around here I like to make a snack tray for all of us, and it makes it feel like its a treat for me too! Usually carrots, celery witha lil peanutbutter, wheat thins, pickles, turkey breast rolled up with a toothpick thru em, really skinny slivers of cheese(I just use a potatao peeler) and any other low cal thing I can think of. I got a tray divided into six portions, and fill it up. Kids never realize that Im sneaking it in on them, and never catch on that Mamma just didnt want to cook that day!

Its fun when its raining outside and we have a in the house movie day. Rain...*sigh* I miss rain.:(
 
i love the rain when it's cold outside an dyou can stay in bed, but when it's humid as all heck...urgh..it just makes me feel icky.

We do that too! we get olives and carrots, artichoke hearts, asparagus and cheeses, watercrackers and salsa and just munch on that. Especially in summer when you're not too keen on eating anything hot anyways.

I felt like i was lazy today, even though i wasn't. I went into the city and shopped around for a few hours and ran around doing some grocery shopping.

I had my 2 weet bix and a white peach for breakky and a 6'' turkey sub from subway for lunch.

I'm gonna have japanese miso soup with udon noodles and bok choy for dinner.

your diary is great, i love your description of vegemite :D i describe it to my o/s friends as 'black gold'. a few of them have tried it and the look on their faces is too funny :D course, my mum used to put it on our rusks when we were babies - no wonder we get addicted!

"black gold"....that's a perfect description aye?! I luuuurve vegimite. And yes it is pretty funny, watching someone who hasn't eaten it before lol.

Woke up, had agreat breakfast of 3weet-bix with low fat milk grapes and apple chunks, gosh it was good!
I'm gonna help my mum clean ot our garage today...oooohhh booooy gonna be aloooong day.


vegimite....my word for describing it is gross!! I tasted it once, not my type of thing!!
 
hehehehehe yeah it's not everyone's cup of tea.

I had to go to my grandmothers today and she insists on cooking food and it's awful!! Everything is brown! and she doesn't believe in vegtables and if she does make vegtables, she drowns it in oli and/or butter "to bring the flavour out"...of what? My pores?!! Urgh.
so after a small serving of rice, lamb and yoghurt, i grabbed my brother and went for a stroll around the bay where she lives.

Anyways, i hope everyone had a good day today.
 
Gee whizz, i wish it wasn't so hot in sydney right now. I reckon i would be exercising twice as much if it wasn't so hot and humid and because everytime i push myself in this kind of weather, i get lighthead and neauseous...i don't know why but it's annoying. I trained at the gym one time with a PT and he said that it was because my lungs weren't used to being worked so much, which is fair enough, but how long does it take until that stops happening? :( It kinda scares me.

Anyways, i'm still on track. I don't feel hungry this morning, so i'm just gonna have a peach for now and when i get hungry later on i will have my weetbix.
 
i don't know about you light headedness but i get that way only if i don't eat enough before a heavy workout towards the end of the day. Do you eat before your workout ? try having a small high protein snack beforehand and see of that helps.

are you staying hydrated? that sounds suspiciously like you arent getting enuff to drink. you be careful in that heat, ya hear?
 
Yeah, i drink plenty of water. Like 2litres a day, especially in the heat.
I think i will get over it, i just need to keep going. Everytime i push myself, and it happens i get scared and quit but if my Personal Trainer was right, then it should just be a matter of building up my stamina. And i'm sure losing weight will make the running bit abit easier for me.

I had the greatest salad today!
It was Tuna, Cucumber, Beans, Baby spinach, Capsicum, Fetta cheese, olives, Pine nuts with low fat Aioli Dressing. YUUUUM! It was so satisfying!

Breakfast was small 'cause i wasn't hungry at all! So i had a big white peach and and then when i started to feel a bit hungry i had a tub of low fat cheesecake flavoured yoghurt which i am obsessed with but don't eat it all the time because of the sugar. But goodnees it's so nice!
My mum made bean stew for dinner....no veggies...i think she's learning off my grandmother :(
Anyways, i don't i had enough calories today so a small bowl should be okay and i'll skip the rice.
Okay i have to go walkies now, buh bye for now!!!
 
Okay i had the same salad again today and it was gross...weird.
Anway today was an ok day...but i had a biscuit.
I had toast with vegimite and fruit salad for breakky, a tub of yogurt midmorning, 1/2 of that salad and a small wholmeal dinner roll for lunch and a piece of grilled steak and veggies for dinner. I had the biscuit in the afternoon though...oh well...not like i do it all the time and i really kind of felt like it so it wasn't just like i ate it because i was bored.

I have a feeling i'm gonna plateau soon...it usually happens around now.
Does anyone know why that happens?
 
Your body gets used to a routine, and thats how it plateaus(my hair does that with conditioner lol) so when that plateau does happen, just up it bit by bit, push yourself a little bit more, and that will help :)
by the way, your rugby player is absolutley delicious!!

I am having my vegimite toast and fruit salad for breakky again today. I don't know what i want for lunch, i might get some fish or maybe a piece of roast chicken and salad.
It's my friend's birthday at work today and we'll probably go out for lunch for her today so i'll have to be careful.
I can't wait to get home and go for a walk today. Put some tunes on and just walk and walk and walk. I love it.
My dad and i are thinking about selling out treadmill and stationary bike and getting one of those elliptical cross trainers. I love those things! They really make me feel like i've worked my butt off. It's just such a pain in the butt selling the other things. It'll be owrth it though i reckon.

Oh an you know what I worked out last night?
When i eat carbs at night, i feel bloated and too full. Even if i only have a bit.
But when i eat protein at night, like when i had the steak last night, i was satisfied, but not full and just emptier inside in a healthier kind of way...if that makes sense. So from now on, i'm just gonna have a protein and my veggies at night and keep my carbs for breakfast and lunch.
 
GREAT idea! listening to your body like that will get you far in your endeavors.

my body seems to love protein, but CRAVE carbs. it sux because I KNOW this about myself, and just have to remind myself that its better to munch on jerky than to have a piece of bread. esp. at night. itll aid weight loss too!
 
yes i'm a self-confessed carb addict, but i am finding that having my brown bread toast or cereal in the morning is holding me in good stead for the rest of the day and if i have protein for lunch i don't get that usual 4pm crave attack for anything i just feel good.
Having said that, i just had hokkien noddle stir fry with chicken and veggies for dinner and now i feel too full to sleep now :( er der Bedsy!

All of my mates at work have noticed my weight loss...a couple of the girls were grabbing my boobs saying they had shrunk lol :D I was so happy 'cause my boobs are pretty big and i absolutely hate them so i was pretty happy when they said they'd gone down. With any luck when i reach my goal weight i'll go down a cup size.

Lol, yeah works okay. My boss is a bit of an over-bearing, psychotic, pedantic, moron but i actually like being at work.
There's great people here, and we have alot of fun so it good.
A couple of real cuties too ;-) but the one i really like is married so, so much for that! lol.
 
Urgh, I kinda fell off the the wagon yesterday...well i didn't really fall off, i just had a momentary lapse of brainage and ate kids-party-food.
But here's the good thing. I didn't really eat that much and oh my gosh i was full! And i felt kinda sick last night after it too, so all i could think about was coming in this morning and eating my fruit salad. I have absolutely no desire to eat anything bready today, so i'm just gonna detox today and have fruit veg and maybe tonight i'll have a little piece of steak with veg...that and a heap of water.
I want to lose 4 kilos, in the next 4 weeks. I need to work really hard to get there and then i'll reward my self with a facial or something because i just wanna get out of the 80kg band. I'm sick of that number. It's starting to depress me.
Tonight i'll go for another one of my ass-kicking walks and see how I feel, 'cause it's kinda hot today, so hopefully it doesn't get too hot.
Oh D'oh, that reminds me, i forgot to put chlorine in the pool!
