Becoming a Beauty Queen in 2013 ;)

Well I am definitely not meeting the size 22 jeans by month end goal. How did I gain back 12 lbs in three weeks I ask myself when some days I did not have anything at all to eat.

Hey Xe

Sounds like the last couple of weeks have been stressful on you, that in my experience makes me plateau or gain.....Don't quit!!! Quitting is the only way you can fail!!! My husband isn't the most suportive either, I wish he was....I just have to find my support on here! It is hard to leave you kids and go to work...but when they do start school it helps them, they know at the end of the day you will be there!!!!

Hey Xenon - gaining weight back sucks!! Trust me - I gained back 70!! Ugh!!
But don't be discouraged!! You can do this!!

I still recommend you to watch the movie - even if you don't wanna do it full time - it is so inspirational!!!

I hope you are doing well!!

You likely didn't gain that much, most of it is likely just some water weight.

I'd like to give you some advice, I hope you don't mind. I just hate to see you struggle:

You have to eat to lose weight. I know it sounds stupid, but the reality is that there's about 20 reasons why skipping meals (much less skipping eating for almost a whole day) is counterproductive. About half of them physical and half psychological (and most are somewhat of a combination of the two).

Even if you don't think you're eating "healthy," eat something that can reasonably called a meal at least twice a day (preferably three times). Even if your three meals are: bowl of cereal = breakfast, ham sandwich = lunch, Chinese food = dinner, there's a lot of good things for you in those three non-traditionally diet foods. Throw in a small snack in between them (like an apple and a string cheese stick) and you can probably get through the day without ever feeling very hungry. An hour after dinner you can even suck on a Hershey's kiss or small piece of chocolate without worries.

The more you skip meals and starve yourself, the more you're eventually going to get unbearably hungry, and the more food is going to tend to dominate your thoughts. If you limit your food thoughts to only when you're preparing/eating it, I think it becomes easier to avoid overeating. When you skip meals, your body eventually forces you to think about food.

Awwww you guys <3 Thanks so much for the support! *hugs*

Thanks Veronique. TOM is here and I wonder if my marriage will survive it. I am sooooo moody and grouchy. But I just wonder how much of it is TOM and how much of it is anxiety. From since I have been married I hate mother's day because no matter how much I try to make the best of it, I usually end up sad because my husband does not even tell me happy mums day much less buy me something or even spend time with me on that day. I have even told him that it is important to me and he acts like a total ass every mums day. So this is the first year since we have been married that I am a mom and will be working around mother's day time and I am already dreading the girls at work asking me how was my mum's day and what my husband got me -_- maybe its a little shallow but I used to love doing special things for my mom all of my life and now mums day for me and every holiday and even my birthday always ends up as me trying to make the best of it while my husband acts like it doesn't exist. Last year he said "Oh I didn't even know it was your birthday" two days after my birthday:ack2:

Thanks Justina! I will watch it. I have a little spare time on the weekends.

Thanks so much Mr. Vee. I really appreciate this and will read this through a couple more times and try to implement it.
