Hi to anyone reading :)
This is my weight loss diary to record various things such as eating/exersice/thoughts. Feel free to say hello.

I'm Becky, a 20 year old british girl. I live in the netherlands. I moved here a few years ago to live with my Dutch boyfriend whom i met online a computer game. Since ive been here ive been gaining quite a bit of weight, especially in the last year. So since september ive been eating less and exercising etc.
In september i weighed 206lbs. Currently i weigh around 166lbs. Im very happy with the improvement in my body size. I still have about 20 or so pounds to lose. Maybe more maybe less, i'll play it by ear.

I work at the moment in a factory and have done for about 6 months. Its not the nicest job but its not so bad really. I dont have any qualifications yet, but i plan to go and study something this year. Still thinking about what that could be. I also study dutch 2 times per week and have done for 2 years now, so my dutch is getting quite good =)

Im eating around 1350 calories per day give or take. I try to exercise atleast 3 times a week going to the gym, or sometimes i just take a walk. Obviously i eat more on days that i've worked out. My downfall is chocolate! i love hot chocolate and sometimes end up having one at work. They have cup a soups there too so sometimes i have those. So long as i keep track of my calories its not too much of an issue.

This last weekend i ate far too much! its that time of the month so i kinda said what the hell? im gonna eat half of this tub of ben and jerrys chocolate fudge brownie ice cream ( low fat version!! ) and a bunch of other stuff too. Its like the cupboards where calling me! But yeh, sometimes it happens, very rarely with me so im being extra good now. Until wednesday..
We're going to eat at a greek restaraunt, and will be going again the wednesday afterwards =s lol.

I think i'll head to bed now. Will try and come back to write something tomorrow. Im under my calories after a big workout this evening so i think ill take something choclatey to bed with me nomnom ;)
 
Good morning diary.
Just sitting eating my bran flakes with yoghurt for brekkie. Got to work in half an hour, i go by bike, its only 5 minutes away.
Its forecast 17 degrees today and it should be sunny! I hope so.
Cant wait for the summer. Ill be looking so much better than last summer.

Im going to some sort of storytelling event tonight. With my dutch class, i think its for all peoplw learning dutch. So, that might be knteresting :cool: better than class i guess!

Righto gotta leave for work in a minute. Here's to a healthy day!!
 
Food for today (so far)
-Bran flakes with yoghurt and sugar
-Turkey sandwich with salad on
-Grapes
-banana
-meat tortelini with tomato sauce and some feta
-lollypop
-turkey sandwich

Roughly 1380 calories

Lunch time at work. Sitting in the sun, its so nice and warm.
Dont feel like working at all today, have to do some annoying task, but yeh ill get through the day.
I guess ill get a hot chocolate soon :)

Where online did you meet your bf? I dont go back so much actually. In 2 and a half years ive been back twice. My family and i have made a deal to try and see each other more this year.
Hows it going with your weightloss?
 
Reading this just reminded me of ben and jerrys ice cream.. MMM I love half baked! Man there are so many delicious things out there :)

My fiance actually had me playing final fantasy online for a while but now with school I don't have the time for it lol There was a guy who ended up moving from his hometown to another state to be with the girl he met online too. I think that's so brave!

You have lost a lot already though wow! Good job :) Good luck with your weight loss!
 
Hey tally. I love ben and jerrys too. Its ridiculously expensive mind you, but really good.
It is kinda brave i guess to move countries. It was hard at first but its always getting easier :)

So its lunch time at work. The suns gone away :( ah well.

Food today:
-bran flakes with yoghurt and sugar
-turkey and lettuce sandwich
-low cal cup a soup
-hot chocolate

Greek restaraunt for dinner. Kinda annoying because i know ill get moaned at by my boyfriends family if i dont eat a whole lot. I think ill have a soup and a main course.. And diet coke.

Interesting you saying that you met your boyfriend on a computer game, seems to be a common thing these days! I met my ex through a PC game too lol, which game was it by the way? :p
 
This may be so irrelevant, but what game did you meet on? That's such a guy question lol.

The game i met my bf on is world of warcraft! i've quit as of 5 months ago but ive decided to get my laptop repaired this weekend and i might just be playing again..just occasionly mind you!

Rofl...im from Tamworth! I lived there until i was 17, then i went to live with my family who had moved to wales..and now im in the netherlands!
Yeaah, i wasted so much time on that game, so its questionable if i should play again. I dont have that much time anyway. But i want to play something!

Well last night at the greek restaraunt...i ate far too much and had a few glasses of wine. Oh well. Its not as if i do that every week. So back to good eating...until next wednesday.
I have a feeling ill have to work hard today uggghh lol.
I have my dutch class this evening which i really cba for atm.
 
I've been to a greek resteraraunt once before, had that thing where they bring you like 40 small plates with something differnt on each so you can try everything. I couldnt find anything I liked! lol, just not my taste tbh. :puke:

Your BF is dutch so he must play UT2004! lol, I play that occasionaly now and its still ruled by dutch people. I dont realy play any games at the moment, played through dead space 2 twice and the new Dawn of War expansion. How about you?
 
I had never been to a greek restaraunt in england. They're quite popular here. Mostly its just meat/fish with rice and salad..and feta lol.
Ive never really played anything else tbh, im thinking of getting an xbox 360 sometime in the future. I played black ops with my brother a few times and that was pretty fun!
My boyfriend doesnt play UT2004 but he has done i think, and he agrees it is ruled by dutch people =P


Im so busy this week uhhh. Tonight i have to work late...on a friday! jesus. Well ill be burning extra calories at work i guess. But they always order take away for dinner. I hope theres some healthy ish things on the menu. Looking forward to my free time this weekend. Havnt had chance to go to the gym all week =(
 
I worked until 8 tonight. We ordered food in at work..i got a tuna salad. It was big and full of different things, really tasty. I hope i burned alot of calories working all day. I should have done right? I worked 8-8 on my feet all day walking to other rooms and back.

Im glad to be home..having a martini lol =)
Plans for tomorrow; still might have to work in the morning.. not 100% yet. If not hopefully ill go to the gym. Do the food shopping, clean the appartment. My boyfriends dad is having a small birthday gathering in the evening so we'll be going to that.

Funnily enough, this morning my weight was back at the same as it was before going out for dinner. So i didnt eat as much as i thought.. Just alot of chips with mayo, a bit of meat and some salad..and 2 glasses of wine, but all in all it want that bad.

Gonna chill in front of the tv for a bit =)
 
Went to work at 9 this morning.. Until 2, im fucking tired. By friday im knackered and without my long sleep i usually have friday night/saturday morning, im really done for. Calories will be over again tonight. Ill be drinking and eating at the birthday party. I havnt made it to the gym in 5 days..just had no time what so ever. Ill wait until wednesday before i get strict with my eating again. Will be out for dinner on wednesday. Its so busy at work so i probably wont have time for the gym in the upcoming weeks.

Need to to take a nap now!!
 
Just back from the gym. I burned 550 calories, so feeling quite okay. It was nice at the party last night.. Though i did drink and eat alot. Today is a new day. Hopefully my eating will be good until wednesday night where ill let loose a little bit.

Food today so far:
-1 egg and beans on one piece of toast
-ham and cheese toastie
-caramal snack a jack x3
-biscuit
-turkey breast with potato and red cabbage
-mini pack of biscuits
-salad; lettuce, cucumber, tomato, red onion, ham and feta cheese

Having some little pancakes soon and thats it!!
Will be around 1740 calories minus 550 from the gym

Will be going for a short walk soon to pick my bike up, so biking home. Every little helps. Plus i have cleaning to do today=extra calories burnt :)

Just finished my 13 hour work day. Its gonna be a busy week again.
Just hovering around the same weight at the moment.. what with going out for dinner and a few times of eating and drinking too much. Hopefully i'll be losing again soon!
On about 165.8 today, and my lowest is 165.4 so around that is okay for now. No time for the gym this week. They keep sharing around packets of chocolate at work!! it's terrible, they're really tasty aswell, annoying! but yeh, i only had 3/4 pieces, they're reasonably small.

Food today:

-porridge with low fat milk and sugar
-ham sandwich with lettuce and cucumber
-banana
-hot chocolate
-cup a soup
-big chicken salad with a baguette
-apple
-3 pieces of chocolate

might have a small pancake before bed :cool:
 
Ill be going to the gym again today wooo xD
I was supposed to go to dutch class but ill give it a miss tonight. Need a break once in a while. So ill do some exercise and chill a bit. Im down a bit to 165 today yay. Though after going out to eat tomorrow im sure ill go back up a bit..got to try and control myself!

Food today so far:

-3 small pancakes with strawberry jam
-ham sandwich with lettuce and cucumber
-2 hot chocolates
-2 caramel snack a jacks
-1 chocolate bar
-small chicken filet with small portion of rice, peas and carrots

Not sure how long ill stay at the gym..hopefully burn about 400-550 calories.
