Lost 1.5 this week =D

Been eating lots of naughty food - its my little brothers 18th today and were having a chinese takeaway at my dads tonight, and my mum insisted that we had an indian takeaway with her on monday. I was pretty good though, I had a vegatable masala and boiled rice so it could have been worse. Im just going to enjoy the chinese tonight (I do LOVE chinese food!) and then get straight back to the slimming world plan on Thursday. Just hoping to maintain this week.

You are right to enjoy your brother's birthday celebrations. You would just feel deprived if you felt that you couldnt celebrate like everyone else. Single events like this do not even slow us down from getting to our goals much at all. Enjoy it and then straight back on track tomorrow.
 
hello all,

I've just lost the plot a little bit this week, theres still birthday cake and things in the house and usually I would not eat them or just have a little bit but its like I cant control myself. I have TOM aswell which is NOT helping. Im in work tomrow and monday so that should make things a little bit easier, Im just trying to eat plenty of fruit and drink lots of water so my brain might register as full and stop me nibbling. I'm not too sure if i'll mange that maintain on monday, a little gain wouldnt be the end of the world but I'd rather not obviously. Maybe I won't be quite so bloated from TOM by then.

We all go through nibbly times. I had one of those days on Tuesday.

You are doing right to try to steer yourself towards fruit. I find that I can spend ages nibbling fruit and drinking water and it causes me no problems. I do that every night - see how much fruit I eat every day in my diary. At least you are not eating other stuff.
 
I am such a stupid man! I was reading your post and Im all "Who is TOM and why does he make it hard for her?" It took me a few minutes to realize.
 
Managed my little goal and maintained at 12 stone 13 lb this week. Made up, cause I know I wasn't very good for a few days.

Just going to try my best this week and hopfully will be at least 2lb lighter by next monday =D
 
Well done for managing to maintain - despite TOM. My weight always goes up then. Stay firm and you will get that loss next week.

Coffeebro wouldnt need to think if he was a girl! He was probably wondering what was wrong with men called Tom when every woman on the forum says such bad things about them!

I bought a pair of size 18 jeans yesterday =D

I haven't been in size 18 since I was about 12 years old, so im quite made up.
Everything is going well this week so far, I'm looking forward to monday so hopefully I can move my ticker down and see that my BMI is under 30!
 
Thats Great moving a size down is so motivating :party:

Im quite positive you will do great on monday and and be showing a BMI of 29.X and also a weight of 17X Fingers crossed for you

Everyone loves getting down to a new size and size 18 feels so slim compared to the bigger sizes.

You are so close to getting your ticker under BMI 30. Getting mine under 30 was the highlight of my Christmas week. I think that getting yours under will call for a forum party. We all know how important being under 30 can be.
 
Maintained again this week - eating was not good over the weekend so I know why. Determined to start this week fresh and get my weightloss back on track. I WILL be under that 30 on the BMI scale next monday!
 
Maintaining is good. My weight is going up.

The weeks gone well so far with food, havent managed much excercise yet but hopefuly I will go to the gym after college on thursday.

I have been asked to work on monday so I won't be able to go and get weighed in slimming world. I'm just going to keep on with the diet and then hopefully when I next get weighed I will see a nice big loss. =)
