Thoughts

I woke up this morning and had two BMs before I even ate breakfast. For breakfast, I had a cup of juice and ONE serving of whole wheat pasta w/ sauces (pesto, alfredo, tomato) and I poured two servings, but lost taste after just one. I'm so happy!.... Alright, alright, diet needs some major control. Exercise will happen. I'm getting things in control, finances, study, and exercise schedule.


Even though I ate pasta, I think it's better than what I have been eating. Also, I've eaten the chobani yogurt today which are delicious. I also ate 2 bananas and 100% juice where it states 2 fruits per 8oz, so I technically had 5 fruits today.


It's been days since I've worked out, what? 2 or even THREE days? So starting wasn't difficult, finishing wasn't difficult, yet my thigh is pulsating right now as I am sitting down to write this. I JUST GOT OFF the machine. I've increased my weekly exercise goal to 500minutes.


Week 1- accomplished exercise goal in 6 days cause of Vegas

Week 2- was short 50minutes, yet spent 2 hours cleaning my car on Day 14

Week 3 (today is the start of Wk 3)- gotta make up for last week's diet slack


Feeling good!!! Let's keep it going---- My sister just came home with a bunch of fruits and healthy eats, yay! So I don't have to spend MY money..whew!!!


In terms of weigh-in, I'm thinking of weighing in at every 300minutes of exercise completed, or ever 3 or 4 days. Day 19! COME ON! 194!!

GRAZING WORKS. OMG, my stomach is so full of fiber from eating the strawberries edamame and banana. Sheesh! I will eat before going to happy hour with my friends! I can't wait to eat some smoked salmon though!! I need to workout...

I am so proud of myself at happy hour. I did not eat any of the creamy artichoke dip and foccacia bread! I did however eat some white rice with the tenderloin! I drank 5 cups of water and peed 3 times because of it! Woohoo!

Thoughts

I didn't exercise yesterday, but my rationale is that I did not eat a lot yesterday...I mean, I burn about 2,400 calories just being alive and my current activity level, and then only eating about 800 calories, well then, dang, I technically burnt 1,600 calories. Woke up this morning to a nice surprise on the scale, 195.4! I know my goal in two or three days is 194-193 so I know I'm definitely on track! I think I want to eat about 1,400 calories today and work out. Just gotta get this metabolism running!


So, here I am, showered and feeling so sexy after my cycling class, where I nearly pulled my calf muscle, but listened to my body, and slowed down. Then afterwards, we stopped by the asian buffet that is absolutely delicious. I ate very healthy at the buffet and drank a cup of ice cold water before eating to trick myself into being full. The cycling class was successful though because I was dripping sweat.


I was alarmed, but in a good way today because I only ate 450 calories and did not feel tired at all or hungry or exhausted. It is so weird, last week, my mind was so focused on my hunger pains, and this week, I am having NO pains of any type, not even thirst, of being hungry. I am in such a better mood, I think it might be the fruits I've started to consume!!


It's funny that we went to the buffet because during my cycling class, I was thinking of how great I have been doing so far. I was with my brother and sister, who are both struggling to lose weight, so I kind of lost the battle. I was planning on eating just 1/2 cup of lfcc and an orange if I came home, good thing I didn't because I might've been more hungry. If I keep this up, I hope to weigh in on Day 20. I couldn't wait to weigh-in, so happy I did this morning =)!!!

Thoughts

I thought I would see 195, since I had such a low caloric intake and such high caloric expenditure, yet I say 194.0! So surprised. I definitely feel like I am making up for last week's diet havoc. So good so far. It is almost 21 days where experts say it takes that long to develop a habit. If I can reach my goals and stay on for the ups and downs for more than 60 days, then it IS a habit. It is so odd not getting full. I ate an orange and a whol eboiled egg and I was so full! I poured my lfcc so I was going to eat it, but guess what my toy poodle is doing........eating my lfcc!! I woke up today so sore in my hip, quads, and hams!! What is annoying though is waking up in the middle of the night to go pee, I've had to do that the past three nights. I hope I exercise today!

I am soooooooo sore. My triceps are SO sore from yesterday's cycling class. Now, the kickboxing class got me sweating! EUGH. I don't want to exercise, but I have 175 minutes to do tomorrow and Saturday. On Saturday, I might have to help my friend move, and she's going from a 2nd floor apartment, so that should be some exercise!


Tomorrow, I hope to do a steady, fat-burnin zone dual cardio trainer session. I haven't been on this machine for two days since I've been attending the fitness classes. hehehe. I'm tired, I'm going to hop into bed.

First, great job on the weight loss! Read through your entire diary and it seems like you've been on track for the most part! I noticed that you tend to eat foods somewhat similar to what I eat so I thought if you wanted to change it up a little maybe I can offer some low cal foods! Noticed you had chow mein once... have you ever tried the chow mein noodle stir fry? The bags I get, the entire thing is basially 200 calories (50 calories per serving, 4 servings), I usually have 2 servings of stir fry for lunch.. either chow mein stir fry or just stir fry veggies, the veggies are less calories of course. I usually end up mixing the two and adding tofu, it's surprisingly pretty filling. I also think cheese string is great, 70 calories and a healthy amount ! I treat myself to Chipotle once a week if you like chipotle, the calories are low (especially if you don't get meat, but even if you do) and it's very very filling...i just make sure not to get any sour cream or guacamole! but everything else is a go..

Yeah, last week was all bad, i was struggling mentally!! I am so proud of myself that I bounced back this time, I AM STRONG!!!


Could you give me some brand names? it'll be easier to shop for! =) I've always been curiouss about garden burgers, i've just heard that they have high amount of salts, i don't mind, as long as the rest of my day is pretty low in salt and/or i exercise vigorously so i'll need the electrolytes!


We do have a chipotle down the street, but it got poor Yelp reviews, so I steer clear of it. hahaha! I do LOVE mexican food, like local mom and pop's taquerias...mmm, i love super chicken burritos without rice and black beans!


My birthday was earlier this month, so i had these free meal emails from chevys and ihop, now that i signed up for their e-mail listserv, i got more coupons, so i might just go back to those restaurants! I've put my financial situation on a diet too, only spend 4/day until march. So far this week, so good! THANK GOD my sister went to buy fruits for us! WHEW!

I feel SO GOOD this week, absolutely no hunger pain or headaches due to low caloric intake, something has changed within me!


I definitely feel blessed this week, making up for last week. The weight loss WILL slow down, yet I do want to push for 15 pounds the first 30 days. Is that wrong? I hope not! I mean, I started above 200 pounds!


My goal for the month of February is 12 pounds. Then I'll taper down my goal to 8-10 pounds for the following months.


A few nights ago, I was so ashamed that I was so worried about being 198, like any celebration for any milestone within the 190s should not be a celebration! Overall, I wish I could weigh myself only once a week, so maybe the next time I weigh in I am most definitely in the 180s. This is who I am now, Laura that was at her "last end" at 180s a few years ago is not the same girl. A girl who is battling to not go over 200 pounds is who I am now. Sigh* At least I am going the right direction. TO NEVER LOOK BACK.

Thoughts

Wow, I am full. But I feel satisfied. I needed to feel satisfied today. I was full without the taco bell, but I had this urge to eat Mexican like foods-- so, I had $5 left in my budget, so I got the $5 box. Not disappointed with having three consecutive good days.


Gotta do some exercise today. Still very very sore, all over my body.


I didn't do any exercise today. Just sat here, watched youtube video, and when the smell of the beef stew started waffling upstairs, I went down and grabbed some. Delicious! Kinnnnda not worth the Taco Bell, but I made the choice already. Can't go back.


I up'd my water a bit today to 10 cups since I ate high sodium taco bell and the beef stew was brought to a boil with soy sauce. Tomorrow night, I might go out with my girlfriends to go dancing, so exercise will definitely be in full effect for 2+ hours. But we will see, it is pouring cats and dogs in California. First time this season. Wait, what season are we in?


So excited to bounce back tomorrow. So proud of reaching my Day 21 goal on Day 19. So proud of doing well in Week 3. So ready to see the 180s next week. LET'S DO IT BABY!

Nothing wrong with that at all...as long as....1.You don't kill yourself with crazy exercise that will injure yourself to get it and 2. If you don't get the goal don't be too bummed...progress is progress fast, slow whatever just keep making progress.

So I came home at 5:30am, I have hickeys behind both of my ears. Hehehehehe! No funny business, just good times on the dance floor!!! So, I was disappointed that I only weighed in at 194.0 flat this morning. I was hoping to see 193ish, but I guess the alcohol won the battle of dancing SUPER sweaty for 2+ hours. [/b]

After eating breakfast, I took a huge dump. Then, after a massage and body scrub, I took a dump. Then, I took another dump for no reason. Maybe it was the pork that got me going. The pork I had this morning was really fatty.

So, I am about to do my 60min for tonight on the dual trainer. Can't wait, it's been a few days!
 
Hey everyone. I've had a really busy weekend, so I haven't been able to post with much thought. I am really hopeful that I will lose this week as I don't feel defeated by this change of life. So, this week, I kinda lost a solid ~2-3 pounds. Since I weighed on Day 22, I hope Day 29 will be a strong 3-4 pound loss. Nowhere near 188.4, but I do have until Day 31 for 188.4! I hope to do some calorie cycling, maybe 1,000/1,400 days.


Since I went out and had to buy drinks and what not, I can't spend a penny until next Sunday! I am on a tight budget I really want to stick to! Hopefully, I have enough groceries downstairs that'll last me until then.


Feeling pretty good, I feel my collar bones and feeling skinnier.


I'll measure myself on Day 31 whether or not I hit 188.4

Thoughts

Hey everyone, I woke up a bit late today, gosh the cold and darkness is really killing it for me in the mornings now. So I knew my 45minutes will have to get done tonight. So, I did it once I got home, got the mail, and changed. I feel pretty good. I enjoy feeling my collar bones, I can't wait until I can see like 25% of it and the concave area will be visible.


Food-wise, I am not hungry, even after 45minutes on the dual trainer. I exercised pretty hard today. I think I am just thirsty, I need to take more than just 3 cups of water a day to work. By noon, I was nearly done with my water.


WHO KNEW THAT 1 WHOLE VIETNAMESE SANDWICH IS 600 CALORIES?! Dammit! I shouldn't have warmed it up to make it so delicious. EUGH!
 
Congrats on the self control of being at a club for so long and only going through a single drink. Alcohol usually doesn't involve a lot of exercise and also leads to a pretty heavy night and following day of calories for me.


May the 180s not be far off for you.:hurray:
